33 pages yesterday, finished on 307 pages. 67 pages (so basically three days) ahead of schedule. If I'm counting right and none of the scenes shrinks or expands, I'm looking at 530-540 pages total.

If nothing goes wrong, I'll be done writing in 2 weeks or less. Then I'm hoping a week will suffice to do all the necessary character designs…

Oh yeah, 300+ pages, this is officially my longest script ever :D
Now, I just have to FINISH it to make it my longest finished script :)
*makes a happy dance for page 300 anyway*

I'm so jealous of you! I don't think I could ever write ahead for my comic right now. I could for other comics, but this one is still kinda being planned.

I have an end in mind, and that's all that counts.

Speaking of which, I'm trying to come up with more enemies. I'm going to design more (bring back old ideas, as well) and come up with stories. Because this comic is gonna be incredibly long. I don't see myself being done with it until I'm in my mid-twenties. Because it'll just be so epic and awesome.

And I'm inking the last page of Part 1 of Chapter 2! I'm excited!
And my stomach is feeling better (kinda)!

And I realized I could just get gel pens to do white on black contrasting (if that's even the right phrase). Like, if I wanted to write some speech or fix up something that I've already went through and sharpie'd (new word, guise) I could just…you know…use it.

Also, Sonic the Hedgehog seems to be pretty good at keeping me on task for drawing. I guess it's because it's how I "grew up" as an artist. Considering that's what got me into drawing in the first place (see my username), but I didn't think it'd still get me today. With me not having that style anymore (thank Zeus :P), I wouldn't think I would still like it or anything. The newer games really suck. I haven't played Unleashed or the Black Knight. But I'm skeptical of playing them. They massively raped Sonic Riders 2. The first one was good…uh. I'd better stop ranting.
I'll make a topic if I want to continue ;)

It's like my cat. He meows as loud as he can outside my bedroom door just because he wants to come in at TWO IN THE FUCKING MORNING.
Leave your door open a bit?
:O People would hear him!

Ugh, last night my internet died, and I couldn't fix it because the modem's in my parents room where they were sleeping. So I did what any internet addicted young person would do on an occasion like this, and stayed up all night.

): Now I'm tired.

So if I want to get into someone's bedroom at night I just have to meow loud under the doors?

Teehee. :)

My cat always does that when I'm in the washroom. He can't stand losing sight of me for a couple minutes, apparently.
He used to meow to get up on my bed(a very high loft bed), but after he got more or less stuck up there a couple times he stopped.

I'm so glad the weekend is finally over.
I've had the stomach flu the entire time.
My parents, no, my whole family got into a major argument yesterday that almost made my brother move out, and I would've had to sleep in a hotel.
And today, I found out that my grandpa that I barely knew, past away. So now my Dad is down. So I'm trying to comfort him.

I hate this weekend.

Ryu: I hope you and your family manage to work everything out and cheer up. You're such a positive person, I hate it when you're down. :(

I think my family is headed for some bad times. And this time I'm big enough to fully understand what's going on. So this is gonna suck.

My suggestion? Finish this thing, look at what you drew, what worked and what didn't and then try to take that in consideration when doing the next thing. And put couple of things in that you know will give you some trouble to draw (I've put horses into this thing I'm writing as I never drew any).

Update: 346 pages written. It looks I should fit easily below 550 pages, perhaps even in 500, unless one of the scenes gets blown out of proportions… 37 pages today, that sets me 86 script pages ahead of the schedule.

(if someone's paying attention, the number of pages from today and yesterday doesn't match cause I had a minor screwup in page numbers… instead of going to 243 after 242, I went back to 241, so the overall number was two pages lower than it should be).

And now I am going to bed, before I start posting things like average panel count per page and per chapter etc.

I thought about not replying after Oz's post, but I realized someone was going to eventually….

Anyway the weather has been beautiful here, and I'm on holiday, and I won't have my car most of this week, so I think today will involve a short car trip to a scenic ruin with my dog and some sandwiches. :]

Uuuuuugh, today I had no exams, so I didn't actually have to come in to school.
But I decided to, to finish off my ICT coursework because I desperately need to.

So I write for about an hour on my stupid giant table of images I used, which is very tedious and boring, and realise I haven't saved! I pressed Ctrl+S, and sure enough, the file wouldn't save. Turns out making a giant table of about 100 images uses a lot of filespace, so it won't fit in my school folder. Yay, that's brilliant.

So I had to save it to a public folder, and then Word crashed and told me it needed to close and any data would be lost. I was very. VERY. ANNOYED.

After it did that, Word restored my previous file when it loaded again, I was so relieved! ^_^

Then after 10 more minutes of work I accidentally pressed Ctrl+S, loads of dialogue boxes popped up, crashing word. The basic gist of the boxes were "We fucking hate you and are going to delete this document, haha!"

So now it deleted itself. Compeltely. The old file is still on my folder, but that's before the hour of work I did today. Yay, now I have to do that tedious shit again. I can't friggin' wait.

Actually I can, I'm going home and finishing it there. >_<

EDIT: Now I'm home and I realise that I don't have the files with the images I need to compile.

Okay okay, so maybe coming home was a bad idea…

Man, that problem has been around since word processing was invented. SUCH a pain, I know. The only thing is that often when that happens, each time you're forced to repeat that writing process, you tend to make it a bit better, a bit more clearer and cogent. Sometimes the writing gets worse because you forget some parts and get a little careless, but usually I find the work benefits from it.
The same process happens with art files that go down.

I have a red spot of dry skin on my neck about 8mm wide… It feels quite different from the skin around it. It looks like a burn, but I haven't BEEN burned.
I'm worried it's a skin cancer. -_-
I'm going to have it checked this week sometime.

Eh, I dunno, it'd probably be about the same, it's basically just paste a picture in, describe it, and type where you're going to use it. -,-

And it's completely wrong with art files! I remember drawing 3 people, lost the pictures, and now when I try to redraw them, they all look dumb! Veeeeery annoying.

HOLY CRAP… this is the first time I've gotten to sit down in front of my frickin' laptop and actually USE THE INTERNET in almost a month!!! I've got a lot of catching up to do… seriously, like, reading a crapload of missed comics, commenting, replying to messages and emails, reminding people I'm alive… etc. ad nauseum. Too much of my life involves the internet, I'm realising. Reckon that's the Modern Era for ya.

Anyhows.

Y'all missed me, right? >:)

I usually get pissed off cause I have to repeat stuff (which I really don't like, that's why I try to portray the same characters from as many angles as possible, it's always a little different to draw) and end up doing it worse.

Now, if I'm working on something and decide it's crap and start again.. that's different.

So apparently my drama teacher thinks I'm a liar.
I walked up to her, before class started, and told her, "Hey, I can't do my thing. I had the stomach flu over the weekend, and my grandpa died."

She just looked at me like I was crazy and she was sarcastic, "Oh, okay Aaron. Because I haven't heard that excuse." or something like that.

If she knew me, she would know I never joke about that kind of thing. Why would I tell her that my grandpa died to get out of doing something? I mean, I tried. I honestly did. But she wouldn't give me the time of day to explain my side.

The showings are tomorrow, and the funeral is on Wednesday. I'd like to go to at least one of the showings, and the funeral.
