some of my friends that just got back from the desert wonder when i started wearing glasses…eh… i like em. but i only wear them when i'm driving….cause that's pretty much the only time i need to see stuff far away (near sighted) also it helps read the words on the tele, while playing fallout 3. tho i suspect, that's what caused this.
my gungho ness has slowed down at the gym. i'm not putting as much effort into work outs as previously tried…but with my Test coming up in a month or so, i'm going to have to step it back up….
i'm also missing playing music to the point of tears…when i try to sit down with an instrument, everything feels so foriegn, and it doesnt come naturally anymore…maybe when i get to the point where i want to be at, i can cut back on the gym time, and play more music…. (when you get to a certian level, you can keep it without as much maintanence, just like high quality anything)

don't want to go to work this week. -_- I think it is already making me grumpy and uncooperative.Ha! You tend to swing between grumpy and sweet as sugar in any case :)
I don't want to work ever. But today I felt too sick to go so I stayed home.
I also learned a valuable lesson:
When your nose is runny because you have a cold, DO NOT use the nasal spray you'd normally use for a blocked nose!!!!!!!
It fricken hurts like hell… inflamed sinus tissue doesn't like that sort of treatment obviously. :(
Tomorrow I'm leaving to move back to New Orleans! It's been four years- that's as long as I was in high school, or college! Keeeeee-Ryst, man. I can't believe I've been here that long- I was only 23 when I moved, fer cryin' out loud!
Speakin' of cryin'- I'm so happy I could cry. No, seriously. It's like that.
^_^Certainly not as large as the ozone hole… T_T
i wouldn't call it giant…
id call it bigger than average.
Hey, no one else was gonna say it.
This is not fair, I'm actually getting sicker. And I love the fact that while I had a day off from work I didn't use ANY of that time drawing, I was in bed the entire time, dammit!
I had better eat something I suppose.
Oh, and Skool banned me from the cookie thread so I can't tell people how bizarre they are for liking chocolate chip cookies! EWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWwwwwww!!!!
now I can better comprehend the idea of a "shapeshifting reptoid".
It doesn't physically change. Do you know how complicated a body is? Why do you think medical students grind their heads through piles of books? It should definitely take alot of time rearranging all those molecules and organs in order to make the shift from human to reptilian.
But rather, its true energetic form tends to just manifest itself.
I PERSONALLY SAW a shapeshift happen. 57 year old woman's face turned into a 25 year old's face for a few seconds. Then the moment I said to myself: SNAP OUT OF IT! IM HALLUCINATING! THIS IS INSANITY!!! It returned back to normal. Then whenever my mind changes its frequency, the 25 year old appears again and again. I don't wanna tell her that because its only gonna inflate her ego.
What I picked up was her energetic form. She did not physically shapeshift.
Insanity?
For starters, google "quantum physics".
And its a scientific fact that your physical eyes can only detect certain frequencies (the spiritual eyes or "third eye" can detect things that the physical eyes cannot pick up). Do you see electricity? Do you see air?
No. But its there.
Do you see "ghosts" or "demons" or "angels" or "aliens" or whatever you wanna call them with your normal eyes?
No. But its there. Intelligent life can exist outside the frequency range of your physical eyesight.
Kyupol man, try not to get in the trap of mixing magic and science. The human eye, any eye, detects radiation in the "visible" spectrum. -Reflected at that. They're pretty advanced in the nuances they can see, but pretty crude in the range. Mechanical devices can easily see in pretty much ALL the rest of the ranges routinely. We know none of them cross dimensions or anything like that and certainly you've got no organ on your body sensitive enough to detect exotic radiation that would, - we don't even know if we can do that at CERN.
So while it's probably not insanity, you may just have a case of extreme wishful thinking.
So mom was teasing me about my megan fox crush gah, she's hot damnit >_<
If i think about fox is the first ever 'hot 100 #1 woman' i've ever agreed with, it was angelina jolie, jessica alba and jessica biel and i didn't think any of them were anything near hot (especially not alba blegh) the lists are also based on success though so eh.
GAH BLEGH AH
Ha! You tend to swing between grumpy and sweet as sugar in any case :)Why you…. them's fightin' words! Just… after I bake these cookies for the homeless.
No cookies for you, you cookie hater.
When your nose is runny because you have a cold, DO NOT use the nasal spray you'd normally use for a blocked nose!!!!!!!I once got toothpaste in my eye. It didn't hurt actually. My eye felt minty fresh.

When I was a kid I was trying to be helpful and clean the bathroom, so I got the aerosol can out from under the kitchen sink and got up to spray it on the tub tile… and sprayed myself right in the face because I'd lined up according to the mark on the metal rim rather than the nozzle direction (which had turned around). Bonus? I'd grabbed the OVEN cleaner instead of the bath stuff. I was not a smart child.
I kinda feel like a whore for puttin' up color ads, since the comic's in black and white, and I didn't even do the coloring on the image. (Niccea did.) Also there's more… uh, skin. But my CTR is way better, I'm actually spendin' way less, and it doesn't seem like I'm getting any more "click back immediately!" traffic than I was with the B&W ones. Huzzah.
I'm playing mother 3, i totally get the fan boner over this game now, very unlike anything i've played before yet it's the complete rpg set-up. I'm surprised how much music in in it, it's on the gba yet there's like a ton of different tracks.
I'm having a hard time looking at manga art without seeing flaws now :/ I always saw it as a 'style' thing before but now it's not even that, i keep getting drawn to the poor proportions and thinking that the shortcuts(like just doing one eye or not finishing the bg) are just lazy. There are still some styles i like though, usually the seasoned artists.
When I think of comics and stories I can't get way from thinking in terms of movies and watching a movie and what I would think would be good to include in the story and what to omit.
I had ideas which initially sound hilarious to include into the story but I am wondering if I should. It has to do with our rapist in the story. I want to give him more depth if that makes any sense. A rapist with depth. wow. But I guess I am thinking the ideas I want to incorporate are for me hilarious and would be funny for the reader. But its hard to get around thinking outside what I like. I mean, I am doing the story, at root, for me.
Does this make any sense?
probably not.
Have you ever came up with ideas for a story your working on and its hard to confirm if there any good without giving it away… meaning sharing them with others trying to see what they think?
well, when i was about 11 months old my mom and dad and me came across a car accident. there was a van of young people that needed medical help and the driver was supposed to be inebriated, but i think they survived. the other car was a patrol car and the officer was fatally injured. when my dad got here, he tried to help him, but the officer ended up passing away before anyone else could get there.
well i've been trying to find out who this man was and finally did today! he was deputy sheriff Bobbie Dickson. he was 55 years old and had two daughters and a wife. he was in the Korean and Vietnam wars and was supposed to be a good family man. he was part of the vernon county police department for 8 years.

oh yeah, there are a few people i tell everything to, specially when im excited about an idea. but with those people i dont mind giving it away so easily. you got anyone ya dont mind letting in on the whole deal.
p.s….no more friggin wine…ever….again…..

yeah, my wife, but she acts likes she's interested but… she's not.
I feel like a kid telling my mom about the episode of Transformers I watched that morning before taking the bus to school.
Honestly apart from her there's no one I can sit down and download ideas with…
hence my dilemma
I have couple of friends that I can throw ideas at. One is very supportive and usually goes "great idea!" unless something really sound bad to him, then he'll nag me about it for ages until I change it. Another one tends to nitpick everything I throw at him. Sessions with both have been very useful.
That's the two major "helpers", there are others.

Progress update (I can't resist talking about that, can I):
All 39 pages scanned, edited, resized, pasted into the template, re-edited, filled with extra stuff (speed lines etc)… all that's left is lettering!
Speaking of speedlines… urgh, I spent ages doing this stuff. I got couple of nice shortcuts at this point, but I need to make a couple of sets and just paste them over the art or else I'll go crazy before the end of the book.
Anyway, if anything goes well, tomorrow night or the day after I'll have the entire first chapter :D
Yeah i wish i could find someone to give input on my short comic script, there's a critique forum i know of but they mostly just seem to ask 'what does this mean?' 'how did they do this' instead of dialog critique or whether they think somethings not flowing right.
I poke through there occasionally and notice stuff like that, but I don't comment on it because I've been known to be somewhat rough in crits and I didn't want to upset people with my crudeness. Maybe I should start posting in the crit forum more.
And Jessica Alba was hot in Sin City. But not much else. Blondes are just so dime-a-dozen.

As for my beef. I still have not located my sketchbook. I can't think about it without tearing up a little bit. I am way too attached to that damn thing. It's kind of like my version of a diary really. It's a lot of doodles and sketches, but they're personal doodles dammit! :gem:
I just hope that it's with the one client I haven't been able to contact about it yet. If she doesn't have it, that means I've got at least 30 or 40 hours worth of work to redo on top of the whole "freaking out about where my diary/journal/sketchbook is", thing.
Okay. So, I just put my comic on an indefinite hiatus. I mean, it's already on hiatus, but now it's even longer.
1.) I've been working on it since February of last year, and it's the ONLY comic I've. worked on since then.
2.) I don't believe I'm artistically talented enough to pull off this story. And I'm not nearly good enough of a writer to have someone draw it for me. Plus, I'd rather do it myself.
It's sad really, but such a relief. I'm going to take down most of the Ryu's Krew-esque stuff around my room (random pictures and stuff), and put it away in my closet. I just want to get it out of my head for a while.
Of course, this means that I'll actually have to do anatomy and stuff, and draw a lot. But I won't be sick of it, because I won't be thinking, "In a month, will I have to re-draw this?"
I think I need this.
