And stay away from Turkish and Russian coffee. That is shit that's been brewed. Even raw Civil War coffee made from stale beans trod under foot and brewed through a sock tastes better.
is that an insult… or is that how they brewed coffee during the Civil War? anyways, i know that we just have keurig cups here for coffee, and that's pretty crappy too. i don't purport myself to be any kind of coffee king, but i like some coffee with chicory in it when i'm in the mood for something that actually tastes good.
Yes, it is how they brewed coffee in the field in the American Civil War. The Confederacy issued chicory nuts which is also pretty good though it takes getting used to. As far as the Turkish and Russian coffee it really takes getting used to and for someone who doesn't like regular coffee it is to be avoided.
Real Brazilian roast coffee (the stuff they don't export and is for domestic consumption) is very flavorable and recommended but you have to have connections to get it.
For you tea drinkers try "Liberty tea" the concoctions created by patriots in the American War for Independence. Or try brewing tea from tea leaves in a steel tin over a small metal box burning gasoline. And no milk.
Currently I am doing anything rather than do any work whatsoever on my comic. And I have tons of extra hours coming up for the 4th of July weekend.
