(she deleted all the amazing old pages)
I really hate it when artists (or anyone) deletes their own previous work. Are you really so ashamed of your past work to deny it's existence?
I don't know if this has been done with photoshop, but I wish in GIMP, you could organize your layers in folders or something.
That's what i don't get either, the old pages were amazing even the begiining stuff. i seriously rank them up there with Charles christopher when i think of good webcomic art >_< (mainly the color palette was something i never saw before)

Yeah in photoshop you get groups/folders. Very handy

On another note there's on older poster on a forum(that i wont name) who's seriously ticking me off. He acts like he knows everything, and when anybody tries to debate with him/show the flipside of his lame opinions he's all 'no, no you're wrong because :) *blah blah blah" so basically i'm right :)". Another thing is he tries to make it sound like he's so great "what? i've had so manyyyyy :) don't tell me you guys only had a few…? woooow". Argh, snotty ego-stroking fool.
Oh well we all have our vices *goes to find more stuff to whine and bitch about*

I still need $125 to make rent.
Pictures to sell? If so, I'm buying :)

OMG, he sounds like me… but the superior version. D:

BTW, that art is a serious downgrade. WTF is wrong with that artist?

Must've been where I got that idea in my head to begin with! Oh well, still don't wanna pirate/buy it yet. Maybe eventually…

It is a good idea, when receiving currency in exchange for a service, that you actually complete the service you have received currency for. If you don't, then you have absolutely no right to come back later, expecting more currency to be exchanged for more services you probably also won't complete, and then get pissy with me when I tell you to find the nearest lake and sit underneath the surface until you drown you stupid bastard.

So….freaking…angry today grrraaaah *levels buildings godzilla style* I've been >8[ all this shitty month and it just keeps tacking on and on, doesn't look like it's going to get any better either;

This shitty game has the most boring characters ever, the females are all stereotype 'bitches and whores' and the guys are whiny and even more pathetic. Also the monster weaknesses make zero sense, this is BEARY annoying it's almost UNBEARABLE to BEAR with.

I guess i should think of something positive for a change….
…..
….

My cat is cute i guess.

Congratulations seventy2. Eight months wiat before you can pin the little stripes on? Bogus.

But then tankers in the Army, they need sergeants; *poof* you're an E-5, now get in that gunner's seat before it gets cold! But you'll stay an E-5 forever and a day. Two schools later, an AAM or three, and jumping through every hoop, you make E-6 and behind curtain number one… your very own tank! (and three EMs to whip into shape)And everything in the Army is your personal property. Be careful with that Lieutenant I signed for it, now put that down specialist before you hurt yourself, private help the lieutenant keep the magnet away from the compass… Ah yes, memories…

Sir, stop the tank, the idler wheel caught fire…

Jumping on the internet weary bandwagon. It's why I stopped posting, it just seems so pointless.

Fuuuuuuuck, I'm knackered but I need to stay awake. Must fix sleep. Important things to do. I had an idea for a comic, maybe working on that will keep me awake.

Ha, I almost posted this in the legendary monsters thread. Whoops.

Is it just me, or has DD been gettin' way less traffic lately? Reckon it's "Back to School" time or some such nonsense, eh?

Probably. And those of us not in school are cranking on work. It happened last year and the year before too. People slack off during the summer no matter what age they are.

I just realized I'm coming up on being on DD for almost two years this November. And I've been without an updating comic for a year of that time. I need to get my butt in gear and get this storyline I was working on done.

Every time I sit down to work though, I just end up doodling stickers again. I've developed an addiction. But I did produce a couple I'm really proud of. I had to do about 9 to get these three that I like enough to keep, but I think that's a decent success rate given how little time they take to make. Now, I just wish I had a place to put them up and sell them at or at least get them up somewhere.

Edit- I'm looking into ISP's. Anyone know anything about AT&T's package? It says $30 a month, no contract commitment, and you just have to pay for the modem. Anyone know if there's a catch to it? It seems way too good for there to be no catch.

I can't really advise on specific services… but the usual catch to most broadband packages now is that they will throttle usage or monitor torrent packages. Or there are too many people on the pipeline and you get nowhere near the 'basic' speed. AT&T has generally been known to have terrible customer service- maybe that's ok though if you don't have any problems with the service. Make sure there is no installation fee, which can be very high for someone flipping a switch at an offsite location somewhere.

So I've been wavering on purchasing a single color screen printing kit. It's a pretty good deal, only a few more dollars than if I were to get a batch of Tees printed.

And I was a screen printer for 5 years so it's not like I don't know anything about the process. I'm just struggling as to where I would set it up.

I need a garage.

Well, finally got a girl's number who I thought was really cute and fun. Had only run into her once before about a month ago and she recognized me instantly and called me over to talk to her. Don't know if she likes me enough to start dating, but we'll see.

I just noticed there's quite a bit of assholes on YouTube using AMV's and Machinima I've made in the past on their profiles, acting like they are the ones who made them.

Pieces of fucking shit.

You can't own anything on the Internet. That's why sprite comics exist.
Sprite comics are considered under the "Fair Use" clause of the Copyright Act. The people I'm pissed off at are claiming to be the ones who did all the work, syncing, and rendering.

Ah yeeeeeeeeessss, some muthafuckin' chocolate. I'm the only one i know that likes dark chocolate, everyone else says it's too bitter. They're either eating that inedible 'for cooking' chocolate or i don't really find it that bitter.

Oh on the topic of thievery my uncle(my badass as hell one) actually had some of his songs stolen and played on an episode of south park. There was no lawsuit but i'm not sure if they took it off or if it's still there, i don't remember the episode name.

Found out today that a family friend that worked for my dad had an aneurysm and died. It was right in the office- apparently she said she had a headache, then hit the floor. My dad gave her CPR until the paramedics came, and she made it to the hospital but was basically braindead. At least her family got to see her before she died. But that really upset me to hear- I've known her my whole life, went to school with her kids, get X-mas cards from 'em, etc. Plus she's my folks' same age, and that's always scary.

Anyhow. Sorry for the downer post. :(

death.

i have a different outlook on death than most people. yes, mostly because of the military. but also because there was one year, where many friends and family died, while i was in highschool….and it kinda numbed me. yeah…enough before i has the flashbacks…
———

in the morning i'm running the past. it's been a month since i've tested myself, and it's about time. it's definatly a mental preparedness test…and i WILL pass. there are no if's ands or butts. as long as i'm conscious i will continue without giving up. and it will be the first time i pass.

and i know i said i wouldnt, but i'll let you guys know how badass i passed this test. actually maybe not, i'm going grocery shopping right after, and then a party with some friends…

I now think that my Mom is a victim of abuse and someone is taking advantage of her financially.

If my mother is still alive – but now in a comatose state and an unproductive resident in the US – she will be placed under the socialized medicine program. This is now inevitable.

This seems like an odd deal, I looked it up and it is actually more expensive than hosting a site with a good host, and the extra money isn't made up with the content management system since there are plenty of free content management systems. I have no idea why anyone would be stupid enough to go for this deal.

People who don't have the experience, expertise, or desire to set up their own sites might find it a good deal. Never underestimate the appeal of ease. :]

If that is what's happening to your mom, that is a terrible situation and you need some professional advice, your foreign office would be a good start.

Do you think I did not seek professional advice here in our land or there in the US?

I and everyone on Drunk Duck do hope you are able to find her and get her help but it will probably mean having to book a flight over there and do things in person.

You don't represent "everyone on Drunk Duck". Why should I book a flight to US? Who would do something stupid when it comes to any emergency?

I don't mean to be unkind, but updating internet strangers about a personal situation and trying to inspire them to help you with stories about Sri Lankan disaster survivors… isn't helping your mom. If she is in the trouble you suspect she is in, there is not a single thing anyone on an internet forum can do to help you.

How would you know that internet strangers aren't helping me or my mom? You don't mean to be unkind? Ha - you're already callous!

You need to get in contact with professionals and agencies, get on a plane and get things taken care of. You may be doing those things, I don't know, but you're starting to make a strange impression as someone who wants everybody ELSE to help his mom, but appears to be doing little himself.

You're dominating this issue and you're commanding me to be gullible. You're accusing me too that I'm "doing little" about my mom's condition! You want to play god even in this forum!
