Yay! my poor liver is probably still struggling against several grams of paracetamol from all those codeine pills I took to vanquish that marathon migraine, but now it's finally gone! yippeee!

Those sorts of pills show you the utter homicidal stupidity of the antidrugs lobby though you know. They're so terrified that someone might get addicted to the mild opiate painkiller codeine that they make sure it has to be accompanied by a massive amount of the even milder painkiller paracetamol.
With the bonus that if you accidentally take too much, too soon, the paracetamol will destroy your liver and kill you. Not amazingly slowly like alcohol, no, rather in a few days.
Most deaths I hear about from happen in hospitals where nurses haven't realised how much the patient had.

Okay, okay- finally I made it! I didn't drink today! Maybe the week without booze can start now.

I hereby agree with ozone about drugs.

And I'd like to throw in my own rant… about the lack of good Mexican food in the Peoples Republic of China.

Also, there's no Ranch dressing here. None.

I love how I prioritise things.

I had Chinese Mexican food in Sydney once. It wasn't very good :(

I have one… But you really need a pair for it to work.

That reminds me- I really must give my spats a go.

Well, some of them at least.

I had another allergic reaction last night…the third so far, and the worst.
I don't think my stomach has ever felt that bad in my life. We had to go to the hospital because I couldn't keep down any antihistamines. This sucks. :(

…I really don't want to celebrate my birthday today…it would have been better if I could just go to my really shitty fucking job that I hate and not have to worry about coming back home and acting all fucking happy with family, thanking them for throwing the party, and then find the motivation to let my brother take me out for "fun"… Really what I want to do is just fucking work and only be bothered by that, come home, work on my animation because the fights are going to be difficult for me to play out right given the technical direction of it all, maybe play some video games, and fucking sleep.

I have no real reason to celebrate this year and my position right now only makes me want to just stay the fuck away from real people, especially those I don't know.

Have your work call your family to say you died or something, so when you get home they'll have cancelled the party and you can just go straight to your computer!

Or just get really drunk so it doesn't bother you so much.

..then again, that's what I did and it could've gone much, much smoother..

Crap, I dunno. I guess all I can offer is a "that sucks.. but happy birthday all the same I suppose."

I hate sleepin' this late, even if I need to (which I did). It just makes me kinda worthless for the rest of the day. But I gots coffee now and we'll see how the day progresses. If I can finish the page I've been workin' on, all will be right with the world. :)

So I should've had today off due to Labor Day weekend. But the Labor union couldn't reach a new contract agreement, so the company made us work today. The irony of the situation isn't lost on me.

At least I am almost finished inking my 8 page prologue comic. I've been doing over a page a day, the hard part is gonna be cleaning it up and coloring in Photoshop.

Christ butch lesbians on afterellen can be so pretentious. So the majority of gay girls today prefer women that don't look and dress like men, cry me a river Roseanne, that's no reason to jump on people for their preferences. I realize butch girls get some prejudice from both sides(straight and gay) and a girl that's 'mannish' isn't a defect and shouldn't be put down, but they're acting like lesbians should be some sort of model minority that can't judge others based on their appearance.
That's what humans doooooooooooooo ffffffff–

I wish i were better at expressing myself in debates that aren't shit smearing fests. At least i don't strawman as much as them though(that's all they do sometimes i swear)

The same gay women that complain about chicks not digging 'em would be complainin' about the same exact thing if they were straight. I know plenty of butch girls that get the ladies; but people who are attractive- gay, straight, butch, femme, trans, whatever- tend to get attractive mates. Whereas the dumpier of us (coughcoughHyenaHellcoughnotnamingnamesoranything* tend to be relegated to dumpier prospects. If ya get my drift. Yer right. People are superficial.

in the movies…something sad happens. and then it begins to rain…

i remember the day i found out. it was a cloudy day. a friday…the 21st of march. i had just got back from a friends house…i don't remember if the rest of my family had just gotten back, or what. but there was a message from a detective in florida. the way he spoke. he didn't say what happened. but i knew. i knew what the phone call had been about. i went into my room as my mother called him back. she sat us down about 15 minutes later, and told us. i left. i went outside, went back to my friends house. 2 miles there if i cut thru the cornfields. it began to rain, at the turn down past my house.i cried. it was easier to hide, since it was raining. when i got to my friends house, he had already left to go somewhere.

the rain was cool and refreshing. keeping me from exploding and doing something possible stupid. blech. i can't get the memory out of my head.

You know, I spent the whole summer bitching about my best friend and her tendency to be a story topper that I completely forgot the things I love about her. Yesterday a girl at tennis who I originally thought was nice decided she was completely comfortable with telling me that she loves to bash my religion with her friends and has no respect for my political views. I was mad at first, but it made me realize how much I love my best friend. She may be the opposite of me religiously and politically, but we have a quiet understanding of each other's views and she's helped me to respect her beliefs as well.

On another note, three people told me I was cute at tennis yesterday. I can't help the fact that I smile a lot and dance when I'm anxious. .____.

Work is mad slow tonight. I think in 6 hours I've made 6 bucks.
I get off at 2am and have to come back to open the shop at 6am. Then I get all of five hours off after that shift before I have to be back to do another closin' shift.

But.

work = $$$

(kind of)

It's been raining too much. WAY too much. Even for the fall season. I always tell people there's a silver lining to all this; we'll be drinking all that water later and won't need to do any "water rationing", but jeez… I can't even go out to cut the lawn… Then again, if I went and cut down that nice tall grass the neighborhood dogs will decide that's the best place to "mark their territory" if you know what I mean. And whenever they do "mark" up the place I no longer want to step in there with my machete to cut the grass and therefore the grass has some nice fertilizer and nothing to cut it down… -_-

Been playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion again too. And I'm trying to figure out how to close all those da… er… blasted Gates to He… er… Oblivion that keep popping up everywhere. And I'm collecting too much loot and I've got no place to stash it all yet. I really hate having to leave all that stuff behind, but I'm not going to hoof it back to the door just to drop whatever I'm carrying onto the floor of that impossibly tall wizards tower I got (that I still can't use)… -_-

My life is so laaaaaammmme *anime post*
So re-downloaded animu Seinfeld(a.k.a lucky star) for the 3rd time, i guess all the moe garbage has eroded my brain but i enjoyed it this time around. BUY HARUHI DVDs NOW

The first 3 episodes really were crappy compared to the rest though :/ RIGHT?

BUY HARUHI DVDs NOW

For another show SUGOI is super amazing,. I almost didn't watch it because the first eps were so weird, but it was all uphill from there. And there's tons of lesbian innuendo to feed my deluded brain
ahhhhh yeaaaaahhh

butch lesbians
Most lesbians I've known didn't care about being girly or whatever… They just did their own thing. It was sort of a tomboy look they went for. And not because they didn't fit into the 'pretty' look either, that just seemed to be the look they preferred- no make-up, short manageable hair, neat comfortable hard wearing clothes.
…Like men I suppose. Not because they wanted to look like men, rather because they didn't care about being attractive to them. So their style was more influenced by sheer practicality, so they didn't look "feminine".

Yeah whatever… You're right about it being silly for them to complain about it though.

Been playing Elder Scrolls: Oblivion again too.
You don't have to close all the gates, once you get far enough in the main questline they'll all shut themselves. There are over 50 of them spread around, talk about tedious. Just do the ones closest to each city. As for loot and weight, buy the Imperial city house (only 2000 or something) and the storage upgrade (maybe 500?), it's a central location, fast to get to, and the cheapest. For loot don't bother picking up anything that is less than a 1:10 ratio - 1 weight, worth 10 gold. If you're picking up the weapons and armor inside oblivion gates, you're wasting your time. The best way to make money is go buy a mortar and pestle, forage up the landscape and make potions til you drop. Check out the farms and vinyards around those 2 SW cities for potion ingredients.
