I hate napping because I always wake up feeling hungover.

Same here. Naps only make me more tired.

Hm… I really wanna buy one of the the Mad Men soundtracks but the uninteresting songs outweigh the good ones on both. :/

I bet Baby is going to hate her name when she's 12.

That's not true! Baby is going to be a kitten FOREVER. Because I said so.

Is it just me, or has the quality of the features gone down lately? Maybe it's just because Ozone has taken over feature duties and his taste in everything is terrible.
Or maybe Skool just has way better taste? I liked eff eff ex at least, have yet to try cubicles.

So I'm pissed at my online Soc group because for the assignment you have to
a)pick and answer a question and
b)discuss someone elses answer.
We have a group of 6 and only 4 people(plus myself) answered the question on time, and their answers are terribly lazy and hard to find anything to talk about(they're all holing up in my answer since i ACTUALLY DID IT RIGHT YOU POOP-STAINED HALF-ASSED BOTTOM FEEDERS)

Forgot about Cubicles. I actually like that one.

Guess Ozone isn't completely awful then.

and is OzoneOcean safe to drink???
No. O3 damages your lungs. It's a gas anyway, if you had it in a liquid form and drank it you'd snap freeze your face off. :)
Also a company is now trying to market Ozone Ocean as a body moisturiser… I don't think it will taste very nice.

Skool does Mondays, I do Thursdays, it's a good arrangement- it means she gets a bit of a break and there is a different taste in of features being put up. ^___^

If neither of you like The Horribles, that's sad. If that came out as a published book, I'd buy it. ;)

Horrible would be more appropriate in this instance.

I'm not sure what is so bad about 'The Horrible,' I'm reading it now, I think it's good.

Because it's so different and rebellious and quirky! In safe, clean, conformist sort of way. Reminds of stuff like Hot Topic which are created for the sole purpose of 'milking the quirky goth crowd' rather than an actual desire to create an actual work. I know it's not, what with it being a webcomic, and I know not everything has be groundbreaking and perception shattering, but the parallels it draws to cynical marketing strategies just puts me off.

Edit: It didn't help that the message of the second story seemed to be 'do not be yourself. Conform. CONFORM!

On a completely unrelated note, I just managed to break the zip on the only decent pair of trousers I have left. Go me.

Horribles- What? o_O
It's interesting to have your take on it. I never thought anyone would be turned off by the themes in a comic. That IS interesting.
Personally what drew me to it was the style of the art and writing, not really what it was about.

It's because your package is so massive right? ^^

I actually didn't read the horribles in full, just a few pages since it's not really my thing. I tend to fav Skool's features more, as i'm sure there are people that fav Ozone's more.

I'm surprised how well written and researched some erotica is, granted those are one in a million(literally), but it wouldn't surprise me at all if some wrote real novels outside.

Also GD has so many locked threads on the front page.

I don't actually believe what I said was true. It just reminds of things I'm uncomfortable with and thus makes me feel uncomfortable reading it.

Edit: my problem with the art and writing is that they seem innocent enough, but I've seen the exact same sort of thing over and over again. Maybe my hobby of tracking down more obscure and unusual forms of entertainment have left me more knowledgeable on 'quirky comics' like the Horribles. It seems less like an attempt to be original, than it is an attempt to cash in on the Adamms Family a decade or several too late.

Except the second story conformist thing. It really seemed to have a skewed moral to me.

Hell yeah.

'cause people don't look around before they post. :]

I hate finding a comic I'd like to feature, except it's got png pages that are mostly over 1mb, and a huge title graphic. I usually leave an anonymous comment, but you'd be surprised at the number of people who don't take the advice (and then don't get featured)

Maybe I just don't have the upper body mass, but skeet shooting one handed with a mossberg 500 is a bad idea. And also, I know this is Louisiana but did it have to rain TODAY?! I finally hit the 100 yard target with my USP and now I can't try again to see if it was a fluke or not.

Plus I have home visits in the Goddamn boondocks and I'll be damned if I'm going to get my car stuck in the dirt driveway of some hypochondriac with a God complex and a hard leather belt six miles away from town and four miles past where the cellphone reception ends.

And I need a new avatar. That one makes me want to burn things.

I thought I posted here about having chipped teeth. Now I wonder where I posted that at… Is it now a random interlude in "Comic Discussion"? "Tip and Tricks" maybe? No telling.

The important thing is that despite the fact that my mouth is busted the hell open and my teeth are chipped, I'm not in jail.

I've been bribing Baby to like me with treats. So far it seems to be working.

Whenever I want kittens to like me I pretend that one of my hands is another kitten who wants to wrestle with him.

They love that. Also, I find that cats that have been raised that way become far more attached to you.
