Well, I made myself just sit down and do the work I felt like doing yesterday but couldn't, and had time to do today but didn't want to.
I got some stuff done. Not as much as I wanted, but some. I should have been working on the main stuff, but found it more interesting to work on some side stuff…. but done stuff is still done, so it's all good.
The garage that is fixing my car did not call today, even though they said they would. I really need my car back tomorrow around lunchtime. It had better be done. I'm paying them enough money.

The 2009 Rant, Vent, and Share thread
Man, I don't mean to be floodin' the board with posts, but today's just a good day. First one in a while- I'd like to think I deserve it. ;) About this time last year, I gained 20 lbs. in like, a month (I suspect it was from some crap medicine I was taking). I set myself a year deadline to lose it, before getting rid of my clothes that no longer fit. I tried a bunch of stuff on today, and… I don't have to get rid of the clothes! And I managed to lose the weight without slipping back into the sketchy "Um, I think you've got an eating disorder, dude" territory. Still got seven or eight lbs. to go before I hit my goal, but- I'll take the clothes fittin' over the number on the scale any day. Sweet.
I gave myself a papercut yesterday on the 1st knuckle of one of my fingers, and this morning I gave myself a papercut on the 2nd one…it really hurts when I bend my finger.
I've never given myself any papercuts in my entire life.
In other news: I really like the two new Prodigy tracks, Omen and Invaders Must Die.
In other other news: finally started to update my blog and deviantart again.

I've been having one of those periods lately where I have an excess of ideas and not enough time or attention span to finish them all. At current I have 3 paintings, 1 linocut, 4 sticker designs, 1 paper lamp, 2 drawings, 1 sculpture, 4 collages and 3 stories all sitting on my desk in various states of completion and I just keep coming up with more of them that just demand I start them. Even my school work which I normally have only 1 or 2 ideas per assignment for is resulting in me coming up with extra ideas that demand to be worked into the piece. Several of them are already being treated as possible personal projects for after the assignment.
I'm almost wishing to have a dry spell for ideas here. lol! At least I'd be more inclined to finish all the stuff my hyperactive mind has created to begin with.

i know what you mean. or at least along the same lines. i get spells where i feel i can take on the world, so i add extracarriculars to my schedule, until i burn out.

ever since dattebayo stopped fansubbing naruto to keep from getting sued, (because Viz Media has jumped on the bandwagon) it's hard to find good individual episode quality. in video, audio, and uncensored scripts. i havent watched viz, but i'm pretty sure it's kid friendly…i dont know if they edited out the violence either. i may head over there now, just to keep updated with it. but let me tell you, if they take away the violence, i may never have a reason to follow it….and then i'll be sad…

I need to write three poems for English. But I am pretty much the opposite of poetic. :(I was going to offer you a deal, and explain how I write things for people as one of my rackets. But then I realised that'd probably completely shatter my carefully constructed facade of having some kind of principles of honesty and decency. So yeah- you should always do your own work. Honor Code. Cheating gets you nowhere. I'm-a go finish writing this damn thesis so I can get some cash for art supplies… Oops. Ignore that last one.

I checked my shitty verizon usage cap this morning and it said 4.37gb. I checked this aftenoon-IT'S 4.97!!!! I only get 5gb before they charge me 25c a mb! What the fuck happened can my neighbors access my internet?? Did my dad do god knows what when i was at school? ugh fuck :/
I have 16 more days til' it rolls over to 5gb again. I know i didn't use over 70mb this morning i was on for 30 minutes.

Hey skullbie, a few things to try:
1st: Lock your network down, combine MAC address filter with at least WEP encryption on your router (if you don't know how to log into your router, type in 192.168.2.1, but beyond that, be careful as you can screw up your config if you're not…)
2nd: do a clean sweep of malware on all computers that would access your computer. I suggest Adaware, and spybot search and destroy (get them from download.com… don't get them elsewhere or you may just be installing malware)
3rd: Windows auto-updater, mcafee auto updater, adobe auto updater, in fact, most auto updaters are bastards… get on a good update schedule and do them yourself, otherwise you're wasting bandwidth
I see companies regularly wasting half their bandwidth cap due to malware and leechers… it's insane. (it is mostly the malware though)

so I have been working on this relaunch for my comic for some time.
I just looked at my new pages compared to those I did over a year ago and I was blown away. I was floored on the difference and the improvement.
I took an old page of b/d and compared it to the new drawing and redesign as was like, "Heck yeah, mofo!"

I want to know who the fuck put a sign on my door saying, "come in! Chat! Annoy me! Use my apartment as a drunken crash pad! Poke through all my shit! Enjoy yourself at my expense by pissing me off!". I don't mind friends dropping in once or twice, but coming in and poking through stuff you know I don't even let my parents look through ( Not porn you friggin' pervs. ) is going a bit far. But what really sets me off is when they come for the specific purpose of trying to irritate me and start a fight. I could care less about why you think the ex-president is an asshole. Don't come barging into my damn studio space and blather on about shit that happened 3 years ago! I am not here to act as anyone's personal psychiatrist or big brother.
I'm beginning to wonder if my roommate handed out keys and told them to annoy me or if I'm just becoming reclusive and grouchy. either way, I think it time to start looking for a new place to live. I can't tolerate the people around me and their behavior much longer.

I just took a geography test earlier this morning… but I hate that course since over 50% of the final grade of the course is done with groupwork assignments. That wouldn't be a problem if only more then 1/3 of my group(me) wouldn't be doing all the work…I hate other poeple's laziness and lack of ambition -.-*
For our Experimental Psychology class we have to do research. You know, survey people and come up with data. My class is researching the effects on exercise on libido. This is extremely uncomfortable for me given that I have to take this survey to others. I work for this school, so I don't want to ask people how often they are aroused and get in trouble down the line. I'm literally blushing in class.
And other news…Peta is passing out pamphlets at my school asking us if we want to "save animals"…I had bought jerky for Peta day so I can munch on it visibly when I see them, but I already ate it all.
Why does every frakkin house I go to have a ROOM of messy clothes? I don't mean the laundry room, and I don't mean the laundry hamper. I mean a whole room full of dirty clothes. People don't own so much as a couch or a bed but they have a WHOLE ROOM full of dirty clothes.
Why? Why America, why?
