that's right lefarce….tell them to just fuck off…

Well would you not tell someone to fuck off if they told you to fuck off?

I'm the kinda guy who is only gonna work as hard as the people around me. If they arent going to bother putting any effort into anything, why he hell should I? To set an example? Well clearly that doesnt work 9 out of 10 times. Soooo… fuck it.

i may have been drunk, but i was still saying that sounds the best idea to do in that situation. so the words came out a bit different than they sounded at the time.

——

damnit, the guy at the gate is actually doing his job. nebraskan licsense plates go on the front and back, like most states….indiana does not have this. so this particular guard, went around back to make sure i had plates. then he noticed the tags are not updated. then he said "get the fuck off this base" in not those words. but thats what he meant…of course it was after a discussion about how it's registered, but i deploy so much, i havent been able to take leave and get the tags. but that doesnt matter. nope. nu uh. but i was trying to get on base so i could buy running shoes, so i could go to the mass pt at seven in the morning. but now i had to go to walmart to buy a printer, find indiana dmv online, register for an online account and print my records, all before 6pm, cause that's when the PX/BX closes.

also it turns out, that my car that i had previous to the current one, is still registered under my name. sweet, maybe i'll sell it. after i find it.

A good while back my mom had a big hysterectomy surgery due to some huge build-up of cysts in her or something along those lines.

There was apparently a complication and now if she eats a little too much (I guess, it may just be a matter of certain things she eats sometimes) she gets a terrible bowel obstruction (from scarring I think) that leaves her in agonizing pain. Literally rolling around on the floor moaning and yelling, and repeatedly vomitting which gives VERY little relief. This has happened today, so I am REALLY bummed right now. So far it usually passes within one or two days…but it's very horrible to see and I feel like I'm sitting there doing nothing.

Last time she went to the hospital in search of some relief, they made her wait for hours, and still didn't give her anything that helped.

The only REAL treatment is another surgery, and after they f%$@ed up the first one you can guess we're not really keen on that idea, though if this gets worse we're not going to have much a choice. My mom also absolutely hates the hospital because she was kept in there for weeks due to getting the bowel obstruction right after the hysterectomy. As a result she's rather stubborn about going, though I can't really blame her. I can't help but be f@#$ing pissed at those doctors.

I feel like I've talked about this before…but what the hell. This is a rant thread.

I went to that London the other day. I didn't actually want to go to that London, however.

Fucking trains.

Sick mum
poor lady. -_-
More surgery would be best, no matter how wary of it she is now.

I'd like to go to London, but the trains don't go that far… :)

Work day. Dull. I'm tired. Thank god it's only 4 hours and I have only 3 left now.

Only one of my things has arived for me from e-bay so far… Those guys are SLOW sending stuff out. Wankers!

I'm going to give up sweets and lollies ( "candy" to some people I suppose). Not for my health or anything, they just make shitty snacks. I'm going back to dried fruit again, it's more satisfying.

How about regular fresh fruit instead of dried or is that hard to come by where you're at?

So I mentioned a week ago someone who I worked with died at work.
Well, now a family member of someone I work with died this last week.
Bloody hell!
Its frickin's death month where I work.
The other bittersweet part of this is that another guy who I work with just had a baby.
The circle of life sure is screwy.

I'll say! Where did it come out? His bum? o_O

Fresh fruit… It doesn't last as long. Dried fruit is closer to lollies. It's sweeter, chewier… Snackier?

It's funny how these things work…

I tell someone that I draw at A4 format and they tell me that I should draw larger.

I tell someone that I plan to switch to A3 for the next project (even if it means scanning double spreads in six parts from two separate sheets) and they tell me that I should stick to the format I know.

Can't win, no matter what I do :)

On the other hand, scripting is going smooth. Did 33 pages today, which leaves me with 67 pages (out of the 300 planned) to go. It's just a loose script, but this + designs and extra notes will be enough to draw from.

I just came up with another great comic idea in the shower(always in the shower…) it's good enough for a short story and really original-i rushed through lathering just to write it down. lol!
I've been doing story writing everyday in my beat up notebook, and every now and then something that gets my blood stirring like this pops in. i might just type up a script for this one and get another artist for it. Or i could drop plastic and work on this and the new comic-they're both waaaay better…but at the same time i like the characters in plastic. bah.

Really though anyone who wants to get better at story making just get a shitty 30c notebook at wal-mart and start writing everyday- it works so great i swear. :)

Just put the characters in your new comic. Steal them :)

If you DO drop plastic though, consider giving it to another artist to continue. It could keep going that way… Or sell it or option it or something ^__^

For some reason I'm finding myself incredibly frustrated, aggressive and mopey all at the same time. I feel like I should be much farther along in a career than doing work for free or cheap to build a reputation, and still figuring out exactly what I want to be doing with my life that I can make a living from. I have too much of a design kind of style to be a fine artist, but I hate dealing with clients like I would at a design firm, and I love creating toys, but there's not much of a market for that. I've kind of figured out that I want to add another major to my curriculum and double major in Illustration and Industrial design because I am so good at designing things and it would give me the skills to make those toys I want to, but that still doesn't make the feeling that I'm being a total slacker and not accomplishing anything with my life any less. I know I'm being a bit too hard on myself for 20 years old, but it still eats at me every time I see some guy in only his mid-20's doing stuff like solo shows and creating the next big car design for Ford. I feel like I should be building a portfolio like that and that I should be doing more and better than I am. I can't help but feel like I'm just pissing away time getting nothing done and bouncing between 10 million different things.

WOOT!

I got some e-bay stuff! Woot!!!!

-My white spats arived. They fit and they look great!
-As do my braces… or suspenders or whatever.
-The three piece suit needs taking in… It'll look good if I could get it to fit! :(

-AAAAaaaaaand… I got another hat ofcourse. ;)
A bright red fighter pilot helmet with a gold star on the front! It's got two visors (clear and tinted). Man it is SOOOO cool!
My lovely Chinese air-force fight helmt and it looks groovy on me :)

Of course it's a "replica", I'm positive of that. But at least it's a Chinese knock-off of something Chinese ^___^
-Plus, normally I think Chinese fighter helmets are white with a red star. I wanted a red one with a gold star though because they're good luck colours ;)

-I'm wearing it right now! …it's heavy and smells like chemicals.

Why did the weekend have to end!?!

Ugh.
I stayed up until 7 AM yesterday morning/Saturday night. I turned my room around at 11 PM Saturday night, and worked out at 12 PM. After that, I sat down on my bed (which is next to my drawing desk, I mean, literally, next to it. And I started sketching away the cover of Part 1 of Chapter 2. I also got the first page done. I woke up at 11 AM, (only got like, 4 hours of sleep yesterday) and started sketching. I didn't do much for the comic yesterday (first time in a while) because I wanted a little break.

But I did do some sketching, which will help.
Also, my copic marker refills will be here today! So I can at least start finishing the shading today. I should have everything done and ready by Wednesday I'm hoping. I want to take my time, mostly because I want everything to look good. So I may just skip tomorrow's update, so I can upload the page all nice like, and then update again on Thursday.

I'm only agreeing that you are too hard on yourself because I'm almost 21. Course, I am still in college, so I can't exactly start things yet either. ^^ Doesn't stop me from trying. I have a lot of plans for the summer.

Ok, we've officially established that I expect way too much of myself. I'll try an take it a bit easier from here on out and relax instead of flipping out that I've accomplished nothing with my life.

Being back home is so relaxing. My perpetual anger and irritability and anxiety are 100% gone. Even my stomach/gut problems are gone. Which just reinforces what my doc says: the place I'm living now is pretty much the reason I can't "get better", no matter how many pills they cram down my throat. That's a bit depressing, on account of it's still going to be a while before I get out of there. But, whatever. Like I said, it's just great to be back home. :D

Why is it that those who are for population control won't volunteer to be exterminated. lol!

It's fun to see my name in a journal. Too bad I can't read Finnish.

They emailed me a couple months ago to translate and print a couple articles I wrote. Plus, an article I wrote for the local museum (about a Washington reenactor) was printed in today's newspaper. So, I'm officially published – twice. No pay for either. I can't figure out why I manage to do crazy things like get published in a Finnish rodent journal but I can't convince anyone to give me a job.

Okay…so my back tooth is throbbing/sensitive to cold right now…but that tooth is the one i had a root canal on -___-
Oh god i don't even want to conceive what would happen if he didn't get all the nerve out… ._.

I'm going to do my 3rd comic first I've decided, mainly since it's shorter and if i keep up with these writing exercises i can make my second comic even better by the time i finish the 3rd. The hard part for me with the 3rd one is it's got a mystery plot in it(no not grimdark detective whodunit I absolutely loathe) so setting up the clues has been a challenge for me. Aside from that i'm thinking it'll appeal to a wide range of people/be original etc.

I registered a domain for it- lol the name is so pretentious sounding, but it works into the comic well so it's worth it
