We still have no running water. I really need a shower. :(
Ewwww, stinky hippy…

:) wetwipes?

Haha! That could work. I'll probably just go to the Y after school(it's right next door) to shower.
Also, it's extra annoying because there's a noisy city truck outside our house which I assume is supposed to be fixing the water pipes or whatever, but I can see the guy in there just reading his newspaper.

Edit: Woo! Came home to find the water working again!

and the perspective of the trailer is not even someone who’s coming to help the people. It’s like they’re all dangerous; they all need to be killed. It’s not even like one cute African — or Haitian or Caribbean — child could be saved.

it's a zombie game….you shoot to kill. if you're in africa, they're all gonna be black. if your in asia, they're all gonna be yellow.

my god, dont turn everything into "it's racist"

have those folks not seen any zombie films? zombies are zombies, everyone that has been bitten is infected…and in that situation, i'm gonna shooot first and ask questions later….and that's if i even stop to ask questions…i've seen the movies and read the books, you dont stop till you're in your nuclear shelter clutching the cure.

Haha. As soon as I work up the motivation to install wordpress/comicpress on my webspace, I can't get into dreamhost's web panel to do it. T_T pffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

I got four hours of sleep last night, have been up since six this morning, I may or may not be coming down with the flu, and I'm getting ready to drive 18 hours straight to New Orleans here in about an hour or two. I'm currently pretending that a) this isn't a terrible idea, and b) I'm still young enough to get away with this kind of crap.

Ugh. So much work to do on the comic.

I have approximately 3 more pages to ink, 15 pages to shade, 15 pages to scan, and 28 pages to re-clean up and re-letter.

I also have to find a good font that fits, but that can use proper uh…oh god. I just had a brain fart. That one thing, like apostrophes and such.
Oh well.

But the point is, tons of work to do. I'm also very tired. But I could care less about sleep. I can sleep tomorrow.

So, I think waking up early for school finally got to me. I wake up at about 6 AM every weekday morning, so I can get ready. I leave for the bus stop at 6:53 AM. And then I go to school until 2:20 PM, and that time I have to myself.
For some reason, I found it necessary to take naps two days of this week, making it so I couldn't sleep. I stayed up until midnight, or a little earlier (11 PM), which is really bad.

I was up last night working on inking 6 pages, and I felt dead x_x
At least after I get these pages shaded, scanned, cleaned up, and re-lettered, I can start work on Chapter 2!

Hey, so the other day I was asked to design a logo for a motocross clothing company… I already wrote about that…
-Something gothicy with skulls and thorns and things.

It sort of slipped my mind… I remembered the night before and quickly drew up something on the Graphire while I was in bed. The next day I took it to work on my flash dive and added some other bits when I had time…. Went home, forgot all about it, had a nap… Then suddenly remembered and emailed it off.

—————–
They loved it. They want more designs for other clothes. o_O

That is just SO rare in my experience. It really almost never happens. People always want a zillion changes… You work on things for ages, putting a lot of thought and time into it and they're still not happy.

Ah well.

i just found my original insurance statement…..it has collision coverage. i'm currently in a phone call with insurance asking why it was removed. and if i can get a good precedence, i may be able to call crappy insurance practices, and get my car replaced.
——

update-

the insurance people who work on saturdays apparently can only tell me "you had insurance coverage, and then you didnt.

they are informing the claims person, and are going to launch an investigation on monday. i really hope things work out for the best.

It gets a little annoying when older Filipinos (those who are old enough to be my parents) would talk to me in English even if I can demonstrate that I can speak Tagalog fluently.

lol They probably assume that I was born here.

Its also probably because I got lighter skin than the average Filipino (I'm part white) that its assumed that I'm an Inglisero. lol!

I have no real place to draw/paint. For the last few months my desk has been covered in crap and I finally cleaned it but it's not really big enough to do anything. The best place I have is the floor, but then I get pins & needles and there end up being funny lines in the piece because it's an old hardwood floor. Not to mention pets who don't seem to understand "Don't walk in the paint!"

Try an easel? It's all the space you need, just vertical.

I'd have to buy one…I had an "easel" for a while that was basically just a couple boards nailed together. Eventually it pretty much collapsed. And then I have this little thing that doesn't solve the problem because it needs to sit on something.
I'll have to see how much one would cost.

Y'know what? Fuck it. I dont need any of this added bullshit. I dont need either of THEM. I dont need to be second cog to morons and retards. I'm better than this, I'm stronger than this. I dont expec tot amount to anything, however, but at least I'll rest easy knowing the worst is behind me.

I'm finally over a lot of things. I didnt resolve any of it. but I'm tried to playing to deaf ears and an audience that just doesnt give a shit. I put in 100%, you give me 20? Fuck you.

that's right lefarce….tell them to just fuck off…

———

my fingers move freely, and buttons seem easily pushed ( on the keyboard) tonight was a party night…)
what a party night it was.

i'm just to involved with everything. i should step back and become the person i was. someone who just went wit hthe flow. that's how i used to be. and i became closer to attaining my dreams that way. following the rules and going with the etiquite has gotten me no where. screw it, i may be trashed, but i'll get things done by becoming my own self, again…..

now i'm off to eat my chicken quesidilla.

Oh wow. It's practically 3 AM here, and I'm still awake.
Hilarious part? I barely did ANY drawing today.
Which is good, because everybody needs a break, no matter how dedicated you are.

But at the moment, I'm penciling the first page of the second chapter. And I'm loving it.
Sadly, I have to re-draw ONE more page of Chapter 1. Ugh. Too much re-drawing. Not gonna quit though. Came way too far to quit now.

So after I finish penciling, I'll probably play a game or something. I got this really sweet freeware game called "N" (which is the first version of that N+ game you can find on Xbox Live) Pretty fun stuff.

I took 2 days off last week so I could have a long weekend, now it's the last day and I feel like I didn't spend the whole weekend the way I wanted. :[ I feel like I spent way too much time online… in fact I feel like I've been spending way too much of the last 3 weeks online. So I think I'll be cutting way back again. Being online just wipes out any productivity I may have, no wonder I've been having trouble getting comics done.

I have a lot of work that needs to be done on Monday too, so sadly I might spend some time working today. :[ Maybe just an hour, to feel out how long the whole task might take…. if a long time, then more than an hour. :[

I'm accumulating quite a stack of video games I'm not playing. I must have about 6 or 7 for my xbox, 3 for my DS, and a couple for my PSP. Some of them I've had over a year actually. I also just remembered this morning that I bought the full Echo game online for my psp ages ago and never played it. So now I want to play it. :[

However I mostly don't want to play any video games til my new couch gets here. I'm getting a little worried so tomorrow on the way in to work I might stop by the sofa store, just to make sure…

I have a comic that has 21 pages that haven't been colored and finished yet. I really want to get get them done by next week, but I've been going a page a day. Luckily the comic will be taking a breather soon.

Also. Since I had to go to bed last night, wake up at 3:15am, work, and go back to sleep at 6am, I have a head ache. You know that kind were it hurts to move your eyes.

YAY! I made it to New Orleans! I was up for 42 hours over the past two days, but I'm rested now and ready for parades, good food, good coffee, and lots of booze. Man, is it great to be home! :)
