It's usually only one cat that does the "I want sex with you" yowl. If there are more than one, that could mean a fight. That's just as horrible, often worse actually.Can sound like a demon baby being tortured…

Ugh, I ended up buying a sabre on E-bay… blast! I bid hardly anything for it, I've been waiting days for someone to out bid me! Now I've had to pay for the blasted thing. It's not soooo bad and I DID want it at the time I bid for it, but with bloody E-bay there's no real way to reconsider a purchase. Ah well, it'll go with my Hussar gear.
Hee. Earlier this week I got two Student Addy Silver Awards. The Addys are for graphic design work. I was surprised I'd even been entered (my college major's department chair handles that, and I graduated last year, lol), but both things entered won, which was even more surprising. :D
I won for this website and this. Apparently they're being sent on to the next level up, too. I should touch them up before next year. I'm glad they both won, because they were both relatively simple to make and some of my favorite Flash-created stuff.
I've never actually won anything like that, and I am surprised the second of those won somebody's favor, lol. Yeeee, I'm still all excited.
In other news, I am about to engage in round two with the most delicious pizza ever!
I am an intern at a woman's shelter right now. There is one girl who, though she understands English, pretends that she can't (especially when she is angry or in trouble). So I have to try to argue with her in a mixture of English and broken Spanish until her older sister comes over to talk to her fluently. That poor older sister has to play go between a lot since she is the only one in her family that speaks English fluently. (Or as fluently as an 8 year old can.)
I only have 3 years of highschool Spanish. It results in me being able to read and comprehend a little if it isn't too fast. But I can't speak very well and my pronunciation is terrible.

sigh….best buy is having a deal where you can get a ps3 and guitar hero 3 and a 50$ gift card (which is basically another game) for the regular price of a ps3…..and i can afford it, but that's just it…i've been good at not buying things i dont need, and that's why i can afford it….but i dont wanna go blow half my savings…but at the same time…………

sigh, still no word from insurance…i think they found they made a mistake, and are avoiding paying out, by not calling me back….i called 3 days in a row, twice a day.but not even a "we're still investigating be more patient"….but they also told me they'd have the results in 2 days…on monday. curses. i have plenty of people offering to buy my crashed car, but i cant sell until insurance finishes thier investigation.

you're right…i'll wait till i get my tax return!I'll have to wait untill august, and in aprox. 50% of the time I owe the tax money…. The other half, I get a large sum of money but thats no good right now cause our currency(Krona) is *#%&$**"ÖM* right now….
My friend is coming over tomorrow. I'm pretty happy about that. We'll probably just get on a bus and see where it takes us…but also we were going to paint together for a while. The only problem is that my dad will be home, and he doesn't believe that I'm not dating this friend of mine. He's already tried to give me several of those fun "parent talks" about him("Now you know, smooching is one thing, but anything more than that…" ). So I probably have another one of those to look forward to tomorrow.
just got back from the play, great stuff it was way better than i thought. i always saw plays as stuffy Shakespeare plots with 2d acting- this was just awesome.
So i gotta pick a new avatar since this ones to big and gives people seizures, i'm so bad at avi hunting it takes me forever -o- All the sites for them just list lame ones, i usually have to go into forums to find ones i like.
Well, my sister just got back from Australia after spending a year in Japan. While she was away, I ended up moving into our parents' house (for financial reasons – and being unable to find a job after getting my degree). Now there are four people here. It wouldn't be a big deal if this was our childhood home, but this is the house our parents bought after we went off to college and they retired. So, now my sister is staying in what was the office; I'm in what was intended to be my mom's sewing room, and the four of us are sharing one small bathroom. Yay.
Tough as it is, I'm incredibly grateful to have such wonderful parents. I just hate feeling like a burden, and my job hunting is endless and entirely futile. -_-
My sister returned with more money than the rest of the family has all together, even after repaying our parents for her original plane ticket out there. She had a good gig there but missed western culture and came back with a newfound loathing for Japan – but a great love of Australia. (She plans to go back in a few months.)
Why is that I lose any shaving equipment within a few days of acquiring it? I've shaved less than ten times in my entire life so far because of this, and those times were with the electric shavers that I swore I wouldn't lose.
I really hate shaving, so I wouldn't care were it not for the fact that facial hair makes me look even more like a stereotypical nerd than I already do, or a psychotic hobo, if I leave it for more than six months.
It must have been nearly a year since I last shaved, and people keep offering me change. At which point I inform them that I'm not homeless and certainly do not accept it and use it as bus fair.
Well, maybe a few times. Oh fine, all the time. Happy now?
Don't give me that look.
