Well, they ought to have grandfathered in anyone who had already signed up. It's not very fair of them to change the rules and then retroactively kick people off the list.

True but that forum moves slug-slow as is, the ones with less skill oriented art tend to stay up there for 2-3x as long as the others. I've had some ideas on how too speed it up since i think it's a good subforum idea.

Monsters vs. aliens was pretty mediocre though i thought susan and bob were funny.

Why am I only productive when I'm completely knackered? My current theory is that my brain becomes so addled that the little perfectionist switch in the back of my head flips itself off. The fact that the next day I tend to look at what I've done and delete all of it in a fit of self loathing seems to support this theory.

Mangafox's new design is totally kickass, I wish i had the resources to make sites like that and fakku a few years back- I'd be rolling in e-dough right now :P (and off other peoples hard work. how lovely)

Today is our Dad's birthday but sadly he isn't here to celebrate with us (he's on the military boat on MSC in Africa) but we still did a little celebration and greeted him in the e-mail I made a while ago. Cheers to you Dad! :D

So today hasn't been a great day, but I've patched things up a bit with my sister and she's being nice now even though I was being a real bitch to her earlier and don't really deserve it. And I just beat my minesweeper record for expert! I think that's a good sign.

Why does "allergy season" always sneak up on me? Like I haven't been getting mad sick from pollen in the Spring for approximately 25 years? Blech. I'm-a go lie down until these pills kick in.

You were thinking about how you'll be totally screwed at the tournament unless you can get at dicks in time for something that can fit in your mouth.

Maybe you should PQ Vega with the ideas :]

I don't mind if they change how the forum runs- I just don't think it's fair to kick people off who had already fulfilled the pre-existing qualifications.

Someone sent me a package, hooray! But they sent it UPS (not USPS like I always ask) so now I have to go to the depot and pay a ridiculous customs charge. Something just doesn't seem right when only one parcel agency charges "government mandated" customs fees and no one else does. I hate you, UPS.

In good news though, my dog-attacked kitty is apparently doing lots better and has finally decided to snarf down some kitty food mush of her own volition, so my sister can take her home soon. She is 'flopping herself around' to get comfortable, but still not using one leg. :[

Argh… one one side I am happy cause I finished all the necessary print files etc. (other than the cover spine). On the other hand I have about a week to pay my internet bills or else I'm cut off. couldn't pay them as we were too late with rent so I had to chip in (translation: hand over all money that I had so that we can cover at least the majority of rent and not get kicked out).

But at least I'm feeling creative and enjoying drawing random stuff. That's always fun :)

Man, if my stinkin' tablet was working right now I would be in computer heaven. I just got a memory upgrade and new headphones(big poofy ones, not those wussy little skullcandy emo things), and Adobe CS4 Design Premium came in the mail! :)
*squeals with joy*

Good: I just watched a lizard trying to eat a tiny bug that was stuck to this down feather. When he saw me hovering over him, he changed from green to brown right before my eyes! Man, reptiles are frickin' awesome!

Bad: I'm out of bristol, and a 20 pg. pad is like, ten bucks. Which is like, $20 more than I have.

Man, I just use heavy pound cardstock. Same diff for most purposes and a hell of a lot cheaper.

I just fulfilled all the requirements to get my comic reviewed, and now they take me off the list and make a new rule where Paint comics don't qualify for reviews anymore. So, now the only way I can plug my comic is on the HELWID forum, which means no one will see it, which means I'm not going to write comics for a while… again…

I feel the need to comment on that.

You got removed because your comic isn't updated REGULARLY. You made two pages in March 2009 and the previous update you did was in MAY 2008. The comic forum isn't there to "plug" a comic and to get attention and more hits, it is for the comic author to improve and get help on a comic they are ACTIVELY working on. Hope that clears things up.

Just be easy on the erasing and alcohol markers with cardstock.

Apparently I've been invited to a LAN-party. And as amusing as that sounds to me, it means I might have to actually be social. I've been avoiding humanity for the last several days in an metaphorical attempt to reduce the number of bodies being found in my neighborhood. Especially because I am learning the purpose of hazing as a social institution. I can't for the life of me figure out why we banned such activities from school campuses in this country. But on the point, going to this party means I have to be pleasant and that's a bit of a struggle today. Anyone got any ideas on how I can be less grouchy in the next 30 minutes besides smoking half a pack of lucky strikes and screaming at the kiddies to vent?

Maybe you could use the Happy Thoughts Technique that Skullbie's developed?

Ooh, that'd be a problem; I'm an erasin' fool. One reason I switched to bristol is 'cause it can take more of a beatin'. :(

Dude, the only reason I go to parties is to be an asshole/ f**k with people. I'm well-known as "that crusty punk chick who's like, way older than everyone else, and comes to parties to drink all our beer, tell us how much our music sucks, and verbally abuses 19 year old scenesters". If they're lucky, I'll even puke on their front walk. >:)

As for being "less grouchy"? Uh… pre-drinking?

I don't get it, i'm a yuri fan that hates vampires, and i'm fucking reading through vampire knight! :gem: It's awful writing, why do i do this to myself??
The heroine is worthless she just sits there while the bishy vampires battle it out and gives her 'TwT' face, the super possessive dark haired vampire totally wants her and she wants him but she's like 'omg Zero Dx' and saunters over to the childhood friend vampire hunter vampire with eternal vampire PMS.
And they all have 'tragic' pasts. No really all their parents are tragically slaughtered, must be why everyone is 25 or younger.

i like/hate predrinking. it's cheaper, but it always spells trouble. always.

———-

so i just had forgotten, that i'm supposed to boil the mouthguard, and then it molds to my will. i havent worn one since….seventh grade? i think. that was the only year i played football, and wrestling didnt require it. so i didnt wear it, because i find that even tho it molds to fit, it's still uncomfortable.

so i went. and i was the only person, in my age group with the belt rank i had. so i had to spar with the higher belt ranks. but the good news is, even tho i lost, i only lost by 1 point, in the 2 minute match.
the 2 minute match that i waited 5 hours to partake in.
but i feel good, that i was able to score on a guy 2 ranks above me, and given another 30 seconds or so, may have tied or even beaten him. so i think i'll go to a tournament a bit farther away.

also, that douche blocked with his shins. damnit do you know how much that hurts? (soccer players would have a good idea, if they've ever played without their guards)

here's video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kt56nhHl3q0

and awesome for hippy, with parent bonding. i miss doing that.

Fucking coleslaw won't stay in my sandwich.

Also, I have a week to finish my work which is barely started and I'm a stupid, lazy bastard who's going to fail college, and I don't really care. I have bigger, sandwicher problems to be concerned with.
