What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

Big Mac. There's this thing that looks like a burger, but it has no meat taste or texture and wrapped round it is this thing that looks like a bun, but turns out to be some kind of spongy foam extrusion, again with no taste or texture.

The only thing in there with an actual taste is a slice of gherkin and most people throw that away! Go figure, as Ronald would say.

Feels like I'm licking a metal bar.
After you beat someone to a bloody pulp with it?
Heh. No, but blood is so iron rich that it's all I can taste. Was yours mixed in milk perhaps?

Anyways, I don't make it a habit to eat iron rich products anymore. I got slightly paranoid to eat it, when I realized that males can't get rid of excess iron out of their bodies naturally (without donating blood) and that it could cause health problems, later in life.

I also do not like apple pie.
?:dizzy:?
You sure you're an American?
I was born here. My mom AND dad were born here. And I have a birth certificat that says I was born here…I must be a Kenyan! XD

Veal heart. Tasted pretty good, too. Oh, and dehydrated worms covered in powdered cheese. It was remarkably similar to stale popcorn.

Might be. The president had a pretty hard time convincing everyone of his nationality so why should we believe you?

And so I don't derail the thread, here's another thing I've eaten: Rams testicles.

… was that culinary or something just between you and your special fluffy friend? ^_^

I think the link I provided answered that question well enough. And don't you dare change the link address.

Well, I didn't quite eat it, but I did taste it by accident:

Raw, frozen and possibly somewhat freezer-burned ground beef and, for some reason, I mistook for ice cream. In my defense, I was about 6 at the time. That was the worst ice cream I've ever had.

Oh wait, I guess escargot counts for anyone who doesn't have any French influence. Give me some nicely cooked snails in garlic butter, top it with melted cheese and/or mushroom caps and I'm a happy camper.

Erm… After what's been mentioned in this thread, I suppose nachos with chocolate-sauce and onions aren't all that remarkable, huh? >.>

Lambs brain and tounge
Actually, the brain wasn´t as bad as I tought,it tasted like bitter meat paste and it had suprisingly mushy texture(while I expected to be chewy and rubbery)
The tounge was pretty good,I would compare it to kebap

But it would be a more pleasent experience if it wasn´t for smiling lambs skull staring back at me >.<

Oh, you mean this?

"Picture of a boiled sheep head"

Had that too.

What did you think about the eyeball?

A piece of wood.
Oooh, me too
I tried that once, when I was very young. White new wood on a broken gum tree.

It looked just like chicken!
.. I didn't taste like it though :(

Ham and cheese cookies. A friend and I decided to start eating strange food combinations one day. The worst of the bunch was our attempt at cookies. They were cinnamon cookies, but we topped them with slices of ham and Swiss cheese. For kicks, we later added spray-on whipped topping. They were actually pretty enjoyable.

On second thought, perhaps they weren't the weirdest concoction we made that week. I recall some sort of sandwich, but I don't remember what was on it…

Speaking of blood and iron bars, drinking this stuff… like liquidized iron filings.

Not every person can stand the taste of the true pinnacle of the brewer's art. Pure magic in a glass. I'm getting thirsty.

Creamed chip beef on toast also known as "shit on a shingle"
Green eggs and ham. It wasn't food coloring.
I ate it while it rained,
in the field while we trained.
I do not like green eggs and ham sergeant Sam.
First generation Meals Ready to Eat. The freeze-dried beef patty that tasted like sand along with the gravy powder (fine grit sand paper dust) and ketchup powder(fine metal grinder dust) washed down with tepid water mixed with some bitter grit that supposedly was freeze-dried coffee mixed with some paste that was non-dairy creamer.

Even after all that a Guinness makes it all worthwhile.
