But is it in the innate nature of humanity to be racist?

Look around you. Blacks go with blacks, Whites go with whites, etc… etc… etc…

People segregate themselves by race as if there is an invisible racial barrier ingrained in the human psyche.

Thats one thing I noticed in North America. Its HARDER to mix in and intermingle and make friends. Because of cultural barriers you have to cross. Its one of the things that fucked me up in the head and got me depressed for a couple years.

That also brings back to memory about the theory of a USA based neo-nazi group I read a long time ago. NO they're not the type who advocate extermination of other non-aryan races… They actually welcomed non-whites in their ranks. Read about Jeff Weise (the school shooter in Red Lake Minnesota).

They've proposed this wild idea of dividing up the USA by race because it is innate human nature to be racist.

However my opinion of this whole "race issue" is that RACISM WILL DIE IN THE FAR FUTURE.

Why? Because there will be an eventual melting pot of all the world's races and it will start in North America. Intermarriages will be on the rise… and it will come to a point where all "pure" races of humanity will be a rare species. Other wild ideas I've read about talk about a NEW SPECIES of human being developed.

That NEW SPECIES of human being will have superior traits than the previous humans (WE are the 'previous humans'). They will have psychic powers. You know… the stuff you read about in X-Men and the Starcraft game manual.

Another theory about this new species will be the opposite. Too much intermarriages will create an INFERIOR type of human who is dumber, uglier, etc… etc… etc…

I dunno… God knows the future.

But for now I am convinced that racism will die… slowly but surely.

Because mixed-race people are more likely considered more attractive and therefore it gives them more right to propagate their offspring.

Wow. Deep. Fun fact: Racism isn't the right word for it, technically. Humans are one race, they just have different ethnicities.

Also, about them superiour humans, I read somewhere that the top segment 9I can't think of the proper word) of our spine will evolve away in due time, becausw of the increase if brain mass. This might ot might not be related to that psychic stuff you're talking about.

I agree on the melting-pot theory. Even if some people stick to their race, eventually they'll thin out, and in orther to uphold the family line they'll have to eventually get with someone coming from a mixed marriage.

You guys all bring out good points. It's all about stupid people wanting shock value or wanting to offend someone, I think. I think the fact that it's so forbidden to insult people in such a way appeals to them, too.

Different human phenotypes crossbreeding would certainly not lower collective survivability. You're introducing new genes into a closed gene pool and that is always a good thing.

I think personally racism is kinda newish. Studing art, I've reliezed that in Roman and Eygptian times, mixed race families we'er ver common. Several Roman and Greek rulers we'er mixed, and King Tuts grandmother was actually pure black.
But, if mixed races we'er the norm back then, then how did it become a sin several centuries later? Are we just repeating history, and finally allowing mixed families like our Greek fore fathers?

I don't think Youtube comments have much to do with racialism. It's a site that attracts children; stupid, stupid children. And also young adults and teens with WAY too much time on their hands. These guys have no stake in the place and are free to make whatever comment they like without any repercussions. They're bored, bored, BORED, which is why they're there in the first place. Their idea of "fun" is trying to type in a comment that's offensive enough to get a response. If they can get a few responses and start a argument then they've been successful!

That's all there is to 90% of it. Nothing sinister, serious, or anything like that, just your boring old standard trolls that exist EVERYWHERE that will let them.

If the place had an army of moderators, that wouldn't happen, but Youtube doesn't give a Monkey's what people write in comments, as long as it's not spam. Heh, they only have a report function for spam, nothing else.

Look, it's just a different way of thinking ok? Here at DD most of us have a stake in the place so we don't like to bugger it up. There are also consequences if people behave like tools, so we post stuff here to be social and contribute etc. Whereas the reason people go to Youtube is because they're bored as hell. Not many people create their own content there, they're mostly just viewers or people that steel vids from elsewhere, and even those are mostly just attention whores. They go to Youtube for entertainment and part of the entertainment is calling people names and seeing if it gets a reaction.

Too true, and probably the reason why ignoring them will work. But then there's always the other retards who bite into this kind of thing, so it's not going to stop anyttime soon.

Even that wouldn't help much. There's way too much videos and comments on YouTube for the mods to handle. They'd have to have thousands of mods. I'm not seeing that happen in any scenario. I think the best way is to have the spam-filter also applied to 'tards, so that 'normal people' can report those half-assed comments as well as spam.

Mad about Youtube? That's nothing, you should check out Craigslist.

I've got that beat. My mate was giving me a ride a while ago, and in the middle of the road was this (already dead) hedgehog, flattened against the asphalt. It was like 3am, so the road was completely abandoned.

My mate ran over it, stopped, backed up over it, stopped again, ran it over again, stopped again, backed up over it again, and then ran over it again at full speed. During this entire event, we were both laughing like insane maniacs. Now tell me who needs help 8D
