*in time the 300 were weedled down to 8. The competitors were, Zack, Frank, Ann, Val, DN, Pico, Rupert, and MB. as of now no determined fighting order has been made*

Val: I've decided about eariler and I'm sorry for not telling you right away.
Snow: hey its alright. *looks into her eyes*I'll support any decison you make. Now, what did you decide on?
Val: *takes a deep breath*I'm going to hold us to our agreement we made. I mean I'm tired of just wondering "what if?", and putting off all these questions. I figure this would be the best way to do it. To fight and earn the right to my oh so bizzare questions. That way I can move on and be done with it. Your not upset about this are you?
Snow: *gives val a tender Kiss*of course not.*smiles* Now, come on let's head back.
*on the 8th floor*
SB:hmm*looks over the area* this does not look finished yet. Torvek needs to finish up here in the morning.
*The next morning*
Doc: there she is. and how are you this fine morning?
Ann:I'm ok just need something to eat.
Doc:well you'll be happy to know that I cooked breakfast for you.*brings the tray out* Just remember this is all for fun.enjoy yourself.
Ann: I will.

Frank: So, I hear that Torvek is Reffing the Final fights. Are you going to take revenge?
Zack:no. At least, not yet I figure if I'm going to get back at him It'll be after this whole tourny. Who knows? perhaps the heavens will be generous enough to guide him to my room during a full moon.
Frank: your not going to kill him right?
Zack:course not. Just rough him up, and maybe make him smell like a fine roasted blend.
Frank: Dude there's a one in a million chance your prayers will be answered.
Zack: hey you never know.
Torvek: *walks along the 8th floor, the shadow-like creatures streaming from his coat to etch neigh invisible runes into the floor. The creatures number in the thousands and get the job done in mere minutes before retreating back to Torvek’s oversized coat.* “alright, the dimensional bubble should keep all stray attacks in check and serve as a barrier to the contestants. Now for the floor… “he kneels and deftly preforms involving a candle, a basin, and his own blood. His low chant is a pervasive whisper, heard by all on the floor despite what other noise might drown it out. After a while, the floor vibrates and grows still. Torvek stoically picks up his tools tucking them back into his coat.* “the floor in here should be able to regenerate itself now and feed on your ambient magic problem. It’s technically alive, but don’t expect to hold any conversations with it.” *Torvek crosses the room and raises the floor into a high chair for him to sit on.* “Shadowblade, the arena’s barrier will respond to your commands; it should be opened for fighters to enter and closed when they fight. I’ll only step in when things get too out of hand. I predict that should be about fifteen minutes by your standards.”
SB: well its good to see that your taking such high precautions. 15 minutes for a for a fight to get out of hand? please. These finalists might be powerful but they know restraint.(well most of them) Still, I thank you for setting this all up. Could I get you anything in the meanwhile?
Torvek: *looks flatly at SB* “I should be fine. Thanks.” *notices Zack staring at him. And sighs* “Tell your mutt that he can have a grudge match with me after he washes out of the tourney. He looks like the sort that respects strength and it’ll mean at least one mook off the revenge-against-me list.”
SB: will do. And with that I'm going back behind this wall to begin the draw once they all arrive. Some of them seem to be running late.
*an hour later*
MB:sir, they're here.
SB:*watches as pico runs in*(and that's everyone.)Wonderful let's go and start the drawing for the fight setup.*heads to the back* alright let me just give you the rules real quick for these final 8. You guys do have acess to your weaponry, and more advanced spells. you win if your oppoent yields or is knocked out. No death or instant knockout spells, no healing items, and No attacking the Ref. even if he did try to kill us. And Zack, he's willing to go a round after the tourny.
Zack: I heard. Mutt he says, I laugh at it. Good humor for a man on a high horse.
SB:Alright then let the draw begin!*several minutes later* and the order has been deternined!
Round one: Rupert vs Pico, Ann Vs Valary, MB vs Frank, DN vs Zack
Zack: aww what? Creature Feature fight in round 1?(he planned this I know it.)'
SB: so everyone good with this?
Zack: I guess…

SB:*walks out*Llllllaaaadies and gentlemen welcome back to the first annual Zot tournament! Today we'll be having a good time. Sorry for the delays but we had to make an adjustmen for all your safety. First I'd likr to thank our sponcers for joining us for this event. We will now commence with the first match of round 1! For our first fight we have 2 known fighters. The first is one of the few people here who can suplex an moving train and more recently this week piledrived a Zeta metroid. Give it up for Rupert!
Rupert:*walks out as the crowed cheers* (wow I have a fan base. who knew?)
SB: and now our other figter has been a long time stander and recently has shown you can do anyhing if you put your mind to it Give it up for pico!
Mia: come on pico you can do it!
Dr. Light:Is this seat taken?
Jasmine: come on over.
Dr. Light: thank you.*brings the family over*
*in the ring*
SB:Competors ready?*gives the signal* Begin!
Rupert:*Draws his claws and charges pico laying a barrage of punches knocking him back a few feet.*
Rupert: oh no you don't!*runs over and decks him disrupting the charge* bit of advice pico,*grapples him* don't stand still if your going to charge*hops up in the air and suplexes him causing a huge cloud of smoke from the impact* now then*takes a blow to the face and stumbles back* oh, your still up good. shall we continue?
pico:ok but you asked for it!*picos fist turns into flames as he charges in for a punch but then suprises everybody with a kick sending Rupert in the air but then pico teleports in the air* DRAGONFIST!!*the burning fist calides with Ruperts gut sending him to the ground clenching in pain*
Rupert:…not yet!*pulls himself up* We aren't finished here! *runs in*
Pico:*readies himself*come and get it!
*the 2 start to have their fist collide. each blow hitting the other. their fists move so fast it makes it look like there are multiple arms on them. Eventually their fists colide with their targets. low for blow counter for counter. non stop fighting for hours on end the crowed watching in anticpation*
SB:*watching the match*(geez I knew i had stubborn soldiers who won't go down, but this is just crazy.)
SB: I belive this is the part where the ref. need do his ten count…
*after said ten count*
and we have a winner folks Pico moves on to the next round!
*the crowed goes wild cheering for pico. a small crew grab rupert and take him to the back where the Clerics are*
Mia: he won!
Jasmine: was there any doubt?
Roll: not for one moment.
Dr. Light: …(not bad pico.)
*later in the back*
Jasmine: wonderful match pico.
Mia: you were awesome!
Roll: congats on winning!
Dr. Light:*walks up to him* …how are you feeling?
*outside the arena*
SB:alright folks we're going to take a temporary brake, mainly due to time constraints tomorrow we'll be getting more of round 1 done till then have a good night.*walks down and out*
Val:what do you mean? I could fight right now.
SB: I know you could but your opponent has a certain limit she can remain her current shape.
Val:I see… alright then. I'll wait. I don't want to win due to a copout.
SB: good to know.
