So I was thinking, beyond the random things I analyze when I write my newsposts, would you be interested if I were to, say, take a character from an established IP, from a webcomic, a novel, anywhere you'd like, and parse down their character design in terms of personality/background/cohesion with the setting/ etc? It could provide some insights and inspirations for tips and tricks for character designs from examples you like.

It would involve you guys suggesting characters to me. Especially characters from webcomics you like (no print comics because I probably will have no access to them) from DD or anywhere else?

What do you think? I could do one character a month (so I have time to read the webcomic).

You can ABSOLUTELY tell me to my face that this is a boring or dumb idea and you're not interested. XD I'm just brainstorming after hours because I can't sleep.

Oh, I'd definitely like that. I think the more members review and analyze each others' works the more feedback there is and it can be a fun, entertaining way to engage further with the community. I'm too much of an amateur to go into details about what makes someone's work good, I could only rely on my intuitions and deeply subjective reads, but you've seen quite a few throughout the years, I'd definitely be interested in getting more insight in various characters from here and there. Of course since you're doing the work it's probably best if you just select a few you feel like writing about and let people pick from those every now and then. I don't think anyone would want to pressure you into reviewing characters in stories that does not appeal to you.
