Well I haven't finished looking over everything, so I don't have much to back me up yet when I say I'm not the killer.
All I have now is this:
"One down… 19 to go!" leads me to believe that it was the serial killer so both murders could be done by the same person. Simply that there are 21 people playing take away the killer leaving 20, killing one more leads to 19. It's not a clue leading to me, but the fact that it was the serial killer.
But what got my attention the most was "Somewhere in the back of the house a CD was playing."
Now I may not have said much, but that doesn't mean I haven't been here looking over posts. When I read that I was immediately reminded of leaderofstars, and how he kept posting music videos and he also has music playlists in his comics. Also, compared to the other people running for mayor, he said very little which can lead towards the whole, being quiet clue.

Then I saw that martinlo_23 mentioned something about WWI planes piloted by cats, which points to the whole "there are no dogs, blah blah" clue and the WWI documentary playing during the murder. And the shadow clue, with his sonic sprites.

I'll continue searching to try to prove to you all that lynching me wouldn't be the correct way to go.

for the record i have an ipod not a cd player, and dogs love me.

Clues aren't based on personal stuff, yo.
They're good points, Kitty. But I don't think it can outweigh the evidence against you…

Lol, yeah if they were based on personal stuff….the dog bit wouldn't even make sense. I own 3 dogs and I love them very much.

And yes I know, crocty…but I'm trying. >_<

It'd really suck if I died for no reason, yo.
I just have to look harder to prove my points.

Everyone keeps raising good points here.

Kitty's mention of the counting from 19 deal is interesting, because there ARE 21 players, so the only way the killer would have known that there would be two casualties is if they were working with other killers. Originally, the character said 1 down, 20 to go, but this was corrected to 19, and there's the fact that the serial killer can only attack once, so the serial killer couldn't have killed both.

Also, and it could be chance as is everything, but I figure it's awfully coincidental a bodyguard was killed on the first night. I'm pretty sure it was a kill meant for Hark, or at least targeted at him to take a bodyguard out for the eventual take down of the antichri… mayor.

This is basically a long way of saying I don't know what the frak to think right now, so I'm not voting for anyone until I can think of something more concrete.

Actually that was a miscount on my part. I don't mind explaining myself. Since the killer counts as one person. That limits the amount of killable characters to 20. It one is offed there are only 19 left.

I forgot to count the killer as part of the original sum of players.

So, that part wasn't a clue?

EDIT: Although I doubt you can tell us.
I think it wasn't a clue, though…
:/ I just don't know…

I'm sure it is, just not in the way we thought. I think it just states that this kill was done by the serial killer, not the mafia. Perhaps the serial killer's MO is to count down his victims?

backwards from 19?
But yeah, Kitty mentioned it to me, saying that she knew this meant it was mafia, but I noticed the connection…
Okay, so, I guess it isn't Kitty…

Well, not quite. Some serial killers want to kill a set number of people as part of their methodology. Our serial killer wants to kill everyone else in town, which is set on 20 other player. Now if the killer had stopped to clean the whole house and straighten the victim's clothes then we could say they have OCD :D

Niccea's clarification makes me suspect Kitty again, but I don't like to execute people based off of halfway hunches. I mean, how many different people have I suspected and moved on from in the past 12 hours?

Niccea's clarification is similar to what I said though. There are 21 players, if you don't count the killer there are 20, and the killer killed someone before saying "One down… 19 to go!"
