It's funny that KALA people are talking about dreams because yesterday I had a dream that DCS, Kitty, Aqua, and I were fishing and talking about colors. We were all chibi and it reminded me of Animal Crossing for some strange reason (since I've never played it).

I had fun fishing with you guys. :(

In approximately 6 hours, I will be attending ChibiCon, dressed as Cloud Strife as seen in Advent Children. Don't fret, the battery of my photocamera is charging at this very moment.

Now, it's 5:10am, and I just got home, and you might be wondering why I'm not asleep yet. It's simple. I'm still working on the shoulderplate. Argh.

Well, as some of you are aware, the A/C adapter on my laptop is shot, so I had to send it back to the manufacturers. Apparently, I'll get a new one in 3 to 5 business days.

Which means, at worst, I won't have my laptop, or AIM, for about a week.

I need some MSN names. NOW!

Whelp, my first cosplay experience was a grand succes! I even managed to get that shoulderplate done in time.

Today was awesome. I hadn't even been at the con for five minutes or there were girls all over me, asking if they coul dtake their picture with me. Seriously, I think about thirty people came up to me during the 3 hours I was there. Even when I was walking out the door to go home I was stopped by two girls who wanted a picture.
Add to that that I got glomped at regular intervals by all kinds of girls squealing 'Cloud!' in utter ecstacy, it's safe to say that my costume was a succes. My favourite surprise hug came from a girl dressed up as Yagami Light, who was chained to a girl dressed up as L.

But I forgot my photocamera. >_<

There are photo's though; my friend had a camera with him, and a guy who cosplayed as Reno also gave me his card. We took some pictures together and later that day he also dragged me into a FFVII group for picturesd because they needed a Cloud, so I'll be getting those too.

Anyways, it was awesome. I felt like a superstar at some points, what with all the people asking for pictures. Also, I bought a Cloud figurine!

Yes. Awesome.

Threads in our forums don't really accommodate exclusive cliques and groups. The TD was a freak.
If this is to go forward you just have to learn to cope with newcomers. Like in any other thread. It's actually pretty easy ;)
