Rant or Vent here
Is your new avatar an explosion? If it isn't, this thread ought to help you out.
—–
I drove past the house I lived in during my younger childhood years the other day. It was the house I had lived in before my parents wound up in a violent divorce… I was only seven years old at the time. I didn't like seeing it at all. It brought back some haunting, painful memories…
Being in that area just really drained me. I lost all will to work on anything this week.
Well… if it wasn't for such a rocky start in life, I wouldn't be where I am today, eh?
Fine, you want a rant or vent? Well I've got one for you.
The admins are censoring everyone who draws attention to the problems on this site. I've seen posts from more vocal users all of a sudden up and vanish because they "lower the tone" of the site. That's interesting, real interesting, since these are issues that affect the users. Heaven forbid that somebody tries to get something done about the password issue.
Of course, when the posts aren't deleted, we just get a glib response, like "The password thing isn't something that some script kiddy could just pull off." Of course, that's wrong. In fact, I had a member of the site come to me and ask me to help him test an exploit that was found months ago. We discovered that this exploit that was reported was already in use and fairly easy to pull off. The kicker? This member reported himself as having little to no coding experience.
Of course, if the admins either
A: Asked the right questions of volte and kept asking until they got a response
or B: Were actually forthcoming with information and didn't force us to have to wade through their posts to find any relevant information
Well then we'd be a lot less fucking vocal, wouldn't we? But instead we STILL get the runaround and hope that maybe one day the site will fucking work/not whore out your password.
In conclusion:
The Big Bugs
New trophies aren't being handed out as people earn them. There's nothing to do for this one but wait- usually they'll show up after a while, but unfortunately sometimes they don't.
Comics won't always show in the 'most recently updated' area on the main page, although I believe you still see the asterisk if you have it in your favorites. There is a conjecture that if you update, then log out and don't come back for half an hour or so, your comic won't be knocked off the 'recently updated' area. I have NO idea how that would work, but I'm putting it here for posterity.
Images you upload (comic thumbnails, edited comic pages, user avatars) sometimes don't update, or sometimes switch back to the old one. Force-refreshing your page (ctrl-F5 I think) will sometimes fix this as sometimes it's a cache issue, but other times the image still wants to access its old version. It seems to be an image server issue thing, but I'm not sure how servers work.
Search/Browse
- Occasionally an ad will block the rest of the page from loading (not sure of frequency/patterns)
Personal Quacks
- PQs sent without subject line will vanish into the ether. Solution- use a subject line!
- Reported PQs go nowhere (not really a bug, just an incomplete feature)
- Users 13 and under can't receive PQs (not a bug but commonly mistaken for one). You'll get a message about how the user can't receive Tiki Mail. They can still send their own however.
- You can't send PQs to yourself (again not a bug, just how it was made)
Favorites and Bookmarking
- Emails about updates still received after de-selecting e-mail option, also after removing comic from Favorites list. However if the comic is deleted from Drunk Duck, you stop getting the mails.
- Error received when attempting to favourite a comic, told they have already made it a favourite (browser/os specific?). Not sure how to solve this one. The suggestion is to try a different browser?
- Error received when attempting to bookmark (SET) a comic, told they must make the comic a favourite first (reported on IE with XP and Firefox on a Mac). I've only gotten this one if I try to set a bookmark at the same time I've favorited it. If I favourite it, go to the next page (or even just refresh the same page) and click SET, it works fine.
- Occasionally some users get some gobbledygook error when they try to favourite a comic. Not sure what to do about this, try again?
User Account Management
- There's no way to change passwords or e-mail. This isn't a bug but it's something we really need to have done… if you REALLY need to do these, send a PQ to Volte6
Comic Account Management
- (Safari, Opera, Firefox users?) No 'browse' button visible for thumbnails, 'send' action is not placed over button. Update your thumbnails with IE for now, or try using TAB to find the action areas.
- Long Description is limited to same number of characters as Short Description. D'oh
- For a comic's assistant, the <> and i buttons (in the right-hand sidebar) don't work
- Comic Genres are messed up right now. There seems to be some sort of mismatch between the genres on the Browse page and the genres you can set for your comic. "Sprite" in particular seems to be troublesome- for instance, someone changes their comic's genre and the system doesn't take the changes. Not sure what to suggest here.
- Comic thumbnails don't always accurately reflect a comic's genre or rating. This is probably because the thumbnails aren't re-generated very often. An accurate rating is ALWAYS found at the top of that comic's page (in the header, if you're logged in).
Comments Making/Receiving
-
User Profiles
- In the latest version of Opera, user comments can't be made as the text box gets lost underneath the navigation links in the footer
- There was something wrong with the profile videos but I can't remember what.
- Trophies not being given as they are earned (unsure whether trophies are taken away if no longer relevant, like dropping out of top 1000)
Comic Templates/ Webpage Layout
- When homepage is activated, shows '-1 Comments' rather than actual number. I know there is a way to solve this as I've seen homepages without this problem, but I'm not sure what they did differently, sorry.
- Sometimes clicking on '-1 Comments' takes you to non-existent (blank) forum thread
- Project Wonderful code might not work on your page. See this thread!
- There's a problem with the chapter list and pre-loaded chapters for IE ]See the first post in this thread
- There should be preview images of the different header colors in the comic account's Layout tab. Instead it's all just text.
Forums
- If a thread is 6 pages long, the page count links in the thread listing page doesn't link to the 6th page. (Page 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 but no 6)
Other
- Drunk Duck alerter handling exception error. I have no idea what this is, but (see this thread)
- Apparently sometimes the DD Alerter just stops working after you've had it on a while. Exiting and restarting is said to work.
i haven't ran into any of those problems

so some stuff went on yesterday….scared the crap outta me (and everyone else) for about 20 minutes…then i couldnt talk to anyone for like ever….okay it was like not even a day…but i should be in bed….and stuffs..
on top of it all….i'm being confused…it's just….i dont know…and now my entire future has been called into question….granted i had been doing that untill a couple months ago….but it seems that when i find a clear path…that it slips up….maybe that's my sign that i'm not supposed to go that direction….or maybe it is the direction i'm supposed to go….but my own mind is questioning every detail and keeping me from going….

Self Sabetour
Fine, you want a rant or vent? Well I've got one for you.
The admins are censoring everyone who draws attention to the problems on this site.
A: Don't confuse my actions with the other admins. I censor your posts.
B: I only censor you, and it's because I think you're an asshole. I can't wait to forum ban you.
Of course, if the admins eitherWe asked questions and got responses, they just weren't the ones that everyone wanted. We're also not sure how much we should be telling people of what we know about Platinum stuff, considering that would all be second hand and might not even be relevant.
A: Asked the right questions of volte and kept asking until they got a response
Were actually forthcoming with information and didn't force us to have to wade through their posts to find any relevant informationCare to back that 'not forthcoming' thing up with some evidence? Maybe if you told us what you wanted to know we would answer you :) We reply with information where we feel it's relevant, I dunno what else you want. A lot of times we don't even know. I'm not giving anyone a 'runaround'
Here's my rant: I hate asshole users who have huge chips on their shoulders about a free website and feel like they represent everyone's feelings when they don't, but can't seen to take their complaints to the right places, and instead constantly accuse everyone ELSE of inadequacy. For all their self-important blathering they aren't actually improving the place by one tiny ounce.
Get a new record, APC, yours is broken.
In conclusion:The Big Bugs
Your point? At least I've accumulated that list and try to keep up with it every few weeks. That's more than anyone else has done. So how is a huge list of bugs and possible workarounds NOT forthcoming, by the way? What kind of runaround am I giving my making that list?

Oh REALLY. LeFarce had a post on here that went less than 20 minutes before getting deleted. Interesting conversation I had with him there.

"Where we feel it's relevant"
That's the prolem. We had LOADS of people asking for answers in my last thread and we got, what? The same vague crap we've been getting for months now. Right now the bugfixes sound like the production record for Duke Nukem Forever. "Bugs will be fixed whenever" is not a decent schedule. We want to know what the hell is going on that makes this take so long.

Making a list of the problems that USERS are having isn't a big thing. That just puts all the shit that's gone wrong in the same place. We want to know why it's taking so damn long.
blah blah blah, excuse excuse excuse, anonymousposterchild is an asshole and I can't wait to exact my revenge, etc… etc… , watch me take shit too personally and act like the whole site rests on my shoulders…
Well, I more paraphrased you than quoted you, Skool. I've been at this site a looooong time. Almost as long as you. In that time, I've never seen so much censorship of DD's problems as I have this last year. It's not just APC getting comments removed. Also, DD has never been as sucky as it has been this past year. And no, it doesn't rest on your shoulders. Nobody's blaming you, not even APC.
Yes, APC/Jebus/TheDoctor is an asshole, but he's my kind of asshole… He's honest, tells it like it is, doesn't kiss your ass and he's really fucking smart. You need that kind of person around to keep your life in perspective. Which is the main reason I have not only not banned him from chat a long time ago, but have made him a high ranking chat room operator, long time standing.
And why does he have to be ranting "just because he's an asshole"? could he possibly be ranting because Drunk Duck doesn't work and like the rest of us he is frustrated? Do you know that when you scan most web sites for errors, you get an average of 60-150, but when you scan drunk duck for errors you get three times that? People are getting fed up with that. If Platinum doesn't care, then Dylan should, as this is his baby. Nobody says he can't go back to coding DD to fix it's errors like he used to, in his personal time… because he cared. Because if he doesn't care, things will get worse and people will just walk away.
If you don't give care and attention to something, it withers and dies.
Oh REALLY. LeFarce had a post on here that went less than 20 minutes before getting deleted. Interesting conversation I had with him there.Dunno which one that would be, don't forget that lefarce has opted himself into forum banning because he knows he can't help being a jerk in forums.
"Where we feel it's relevant"No, the problem is a lot of times we don't have answers. We give you all the information we have which in most cases isn't any more than the regular users. FYI, the 'not relevant' stuff referred to who's having a spat with who at Platinum and whether Volte is friends with the guy they hired to do web promotion. If you want REAL answers, ask Volte. He doesn't read the forums so posting a billion complaints there won't help. Stop making us admins feel like shit for being clueless in the middle. We want things fixed too, but it's our job to try and keep things productive even when there are shitty things happening.

I was gonna reply to your post but I didn't read it after that flattering summary. Fuck you too. Thanks for making me cry.
Fuck this, I'm going to let all the other admins put themselves out there for you shitheads for a while.

It was ozone. Hence my use of the plural form of admin.

So what, do you guys just do lines of coke at those meetings you have and throw rolls of hundred dollar bills at each other? What is being ASKED at these meetings? Why do you seem to come out of them so often with so little information? And I mean LITTLE, as in we get told pretty much everything we've heard before. Hell, the most that we got out of the last one was "Bug fixes will be slow" and "We have a vague list of things that need fixing." This is NOT encouraging. You people are our lifeline to volte and so far the most we've been able to confirm is "Yeah, he's probably still alive." You're in the middle, but you're in the important part of the middle. Allow me to explain:
Imagine drunkduck as a whole is a Snickers bar. Volte is the nougat, you guys are the caramel, and the drunkduck users are nuts. You guys are REAAALLLLY close to the nougat, like, the nougat is right on top of you. And when you bite into the bar, or access the site, the nougat, caramel and nuts all smash together to form the delicious candy treat that we call Snickers.
Or at least, that's how it SHOULD go. Instead, somebody has shoved a bunch of sheetrock, or lack of communication between the nougat and the caramel. So who put the sheetrock there? Is it volte never telling you guys anything? Is it you guys not asking the right questions? Why is it taking so long to get any fixes? Why is drunkduck seemingly so low on the list of priorities? Who doesn't love Snickers bars?

I advised him to tone it down a little, but at the same time, he makes some valid points. You'll probably like it, he calls me an asshole at one point. Or two. Fuck, he calls me an asshole a lot.

Wow, that reply didn't prove his point at all did it?

I think perhaps you read my opening statement in the wrong context. Most definitely in the wrong tone of voice. Really, I was trying to defuse the situation. I guess it backfired. To be quite frank, anonymousposterchild asked me to tone my paraphrasing down some, so he's not quite all that harsh as maybe he lets on. In addition, I'm far from a shit head. I was even voted "nicest person in the forums" by a couple people. (doesn't mean I won, more than a few people got loads more votes than I did, but I was honored to even get a mention. Probably because I stick up for the underdog.)
To re-iterate, we're not attacking you personally, Skool. It's just that you ferry the complaints of your own accord, unless some unseen power has deemed that task upon you. I don't know really, because nobody ever tells us anything of substance. Again… probably not your fault. You used to be pretty up on things before Platinum. It's only been since they took over that things became so murky.
Yeah, we're frustrated. Frustrated people say some extreme stuff, but when things cool down, you find it was all 'heat of the moment' stuff and we're all not as bad as you thought. You admins should be frustrated and mad too, these people are hanging you out to dry and making you look like stooges. But you're directing your anger in the wrong… direction. :P You need to stop getting mad at us peons and focus that mad-on at the hierarchy who's leaving you high and dry. [/80's reference]
Wow, that reply didn't prove his point at all did it?
My sensors are detecting a massive deposit of sarcsam. :/
Wow, that reply didn't prove his point at all did it?
I wasn't taking things personally until Randal summarized me as full of blah blahs and excuses and being a self-important drama queen.
I have a job to do as an admin, and I care very much about DD even with all its flaws. I feel responsible for things like 'user happiness' because I care. I get frustrated at being in the middle because I care. It's nice that on the rare occasion that I lose my cool a bit I'm totally painted with such a great brush. That was sarcasm.
Thanks for that insightful reply though. Also sarcasm.
It looks like it's time for people to step back and just calm down. That plain and simple fact of the matter is that something is broken and it doesn't happen to matter two shits who's fault it is. It's time to stop throwing around insults and blame.
All that matters are the facts: Yes, Drunduck is currently operating at somewhat less than what it could be. Yes, there are indeed things being done to fix these matters. No, these fixes are not currently moving as fast as many would like and people are frustrated. Yes, there are measures that could speed things up a bit and of course, yes they have been suggested and some of them have even been implemented. Finally and lastly: THESE THINGS TAKE TIME!
Perhaps Volte and his new coworker are already on your password issue and simply haven't quite figured out the problem yet, perhaps Volte is busy getting the new help integrated and up to date on all the things they need to know. No matter what, the fact of the matter is, what is most important is that while things are not as we'd all like them to be, that there are things taking place to correct the problem and that people need to be patient. Once again, THESE THINGS TAKE TIME!
Be patient people. And for the Admins part, they can try to find out what Volte is currently on and try to pass it along. They may not be able to do it quickly. Therefore, everyone just needs to calm down and maybe we can compromise here and agree that if there is no news in a couple of weeks, then you can start screaming again.
I wasn't taking things personally until Randal summarized me as full of blah blahs and excuses and being a self-important drama queen.
But you DO take things personally. ALL the time. At least it seems that way and we can only go by what we percieve.
And I wasn't trying to trivialize you so much as get you to see how spiteful you sounded toward Doc. (Henceforth, I shall refer to anonymousposterchild as Doc or TheDoctor, because that is what he goes by these days in #drunkduck.) I mean, you sounded sort of all "I'm going to get you, and your little dog too!"
I don't hate you, Skool. Heck, some of our pages even sit together side by side in harmony in the first Drunk Duck Anthology.
Perhaps Volte and his new coworker are already on your password issue and simply haven't quite figured out the problem yet.
Nope.
1. The exact nature of the problem and a fix for it were sent
2. We've been told that the security issues are on the lower rungs of the fixes
Also, we've been told that the updates are going to be SLOW. We want to know WHY, and everything else I've mentioned.

I don't know how long you've been at DD, but this has not been going on for a few weeks or a few months… it has been more like 18 months. over two years if you want to go back as far as the crash. Frustration is an understatement. I've been with the site since 03 or so, and it's never been this bad. even with the crashes.
ok here's the most awesome sci-fi setup I ever heard.
We have a world.
The world is controlled by the New World Order. The NWO, aside from pwning the average person, decides to fight with one another thats why earth keeps on having wars, diseases (including man made ones like aids), poverty, etc. There's a NWO in Europe and USA, and another one with a power grid in China, Russia, the Islamic middle east, South America, Africa, and the rest of Asia and the Pacific.
The NWO are not alone. They have their non-human friends. The grays and the reptoids.
These grays and reptoids arent friends.
Grays want to be independent but cant cuz they fucked up a long time ago some time in their history. And to top it all, they got pwned by the reptoids. Making them into a slave race.
But the reptoids and grays arent the top of the food chain. There is still Satan and those evil spirits who are probably stronger than they are.
Since these bad guys gain all the attention, what about the good guys?
There's the Galactic Federation who consists of an alliance of 150+ benevolent alien species like Pleiadians, Andromedans, Sirians, Arcturians, etc… as well as light beings that include Jesus Christ, St. Michael and Angel Gabriel… who stand in the way of Satan and the Draco Empire (mostly consists of Reptilian and Gray but has some human planets to it)
If not for them, Earth would long have been pwned by the Draco Empire. The Draco Empire and Galactic Federation have fought each other millions of years ago and ended up in a stalemate. Thats why neither side would make moves on earth. Otherwise it might provoke the other side into a total intergalactic, interdimensional war.
What an awesome sci-fi plot this is. This is 1000x more awesome than Star Wars or any other scifi/fantasy plot I've ever seen.
And since its so awesome, there are too many people who think this is the real setup of this world we live in.
We've been told that the security issues are on the lower rungs of the fixesNo, you've been told it's THIRD on the list, behind two other bugs that majorly and constantly affect site usability. Stop exaggerating. The entire rest of the bug list makes up all the rungs lower than that. You just posted the bug list, I shouldn't have had to just make that point to you.
But you DO take things personally. ALL the time. At least it seems that way and we can only go by what we percieve.
ALL the time, huh? Why don't you back that up with some evidence? You've posted a whole 210 times on the forums, you must be the expert on 'we'? Should 'we' take a vote as to how ALL the time I take things personally? I go out of my way to NOT take things personally and be as impassive or whatever as possible, especially when I feel like I'm being attacked. But I don't think I have to put up with shit from anyone, even it it's made 'okay' in a rant thread. In fact, I'm allowed to take things personally in the rant thread. In fact, as a human being, I should be allowed to take things personally whenever the hell I want to. I'm tired of being the nice diplomatic admin. Maybe I should be the asshole admin from now on.
On that note, why is 'taking things personally' a bad thing? It's NOT okay for people to go around being jerks and 'telling it like it is' because they think people should 'not to take it personally', like people who do that are defective or something. Being rational all the time is stupid. So if a person cares and takes things to heart, it's THEIR fault they got hurt, and not the person who is missing tact? 'Don't take this personally' is what someone says when they're about to make a personal attack. It's like 'I don't want to judge, but' or 'I don't want to hurt you, but'. Most intelligent people are able to not only make good points with their complaints, and can also put them in a way that isn't antagonistic that doesn't require the use of a 'but'.
Anyone with half a brain would realize that the admins DO care about the site and its users, and we feel responsible and guilty (justifiably or not) when EVERYBODY on the site is unhappy and we can't do anything and people start making snarky frustrated posts and talk about how bad the admins are at their jobs. What the people with ENTIRE brains realize is that if they made a post like that they aren't just venting or making a point (to who?), they're aggravating the frustration and guilt of the otherwise friendly neighborhood admins and that the admins WILL take it personally, even if they don't say so publicly. So the people with ENTIRE brains will voice their complaints, but in a totally different manner to the people with half-brains who can only sprinkle their annoyances all over the forums and say 'don't take it personally'
Non-apology via useless explanationTry harder
Back in a week or two dudes. I got more valuable and less emotionally distressing ways to spend my time.
But you DO take things personally. ALL the time. At least it seems that way and we can only go by what we percieve.
ALL the time, huh? Why don't you back that up with some evidence?
Hold on a second, I have something to address.
You've posted a whole 210 times on the forums, you must be the expert on 'we'?
Whoa, whoa, whoa there. Now, here you are insulting people's intelligence and all of a sudden you pull this out? Bravo. Bra-fucking-vo. Apparently postcount is what ties you to communities now. Not being a long standing member of that community, the op the that community's chatroom stretching all the way back to when the chatroom WAS official, but post count.
Forum post counts are little more than e-peen indicators and you should damn well know that by now. Randal has been here for half a decade, I'm pretty sure he has a good handle on the community by now. A person who uses their ENTIRE brain would see that.
Should 'we' take a vote as to how ALL the time I take things personally? I go out of my way to NOT take things personally and be as impassive or whatever as possible, especially when I feel like I'm being attacked.
Hey, look, it's that self-important drama queen thing. Hell, that started as soon as you posted "randal made me cry", which came across as more of an attempt to illicit sympathy by playing the role of "poor abused admin" than it did anything else.
Of course, it's pretty hard to actually show evidence of you doing this, since so many posts and threads are deemed fit to be culled by yourself. You're a regular forum KGB, just significantly less subtle. Admit it, you delete more posts and threads than any other admin here, and you know it. We've ALL seen this in action. Hell, I saw you delete all the posts made in a thread since, what, September?
But I don't think I have to put up with shit from anyone, even it it's made 'okay' in a rant thread. In fact, I'm allowed to take things personally in the rant thread. In fact, as a human being, I should be allowed to take things personally whenever the hell I want to. I'm tired of being the nice diplomatic admin. Maybe I should be the asshole admin from now on.
You wish. Nice, diplomatic admin honours go to ozoneocean. Why? Because he's nice and diplomatic. You're the "Put on a pretty face while I sweep some bodies under this carpet" admin. You're all smiles and sunshine as you quickly remove all evidence to the contrary. Of course, the minute that stops working for you or somebody notices, the facade falls apart.
On that note, why is 'taking things personally' a bad thing?
Nobody said it was.
For a person claiming that it's okay to take things seriously, you sure are laying down the personal attacks pretty often. Not to mention the levels of spin you're putting on things. Seriously, you have been desperately trying to make everything everyone has said look like a personal attack on you instead of looking at the issue at hand, which is one of the things that is going wrong with all the communication here.
When one of your jobs is informing the community and your attempts at that all seem half-assed at best then people are going to start complaining about the quality of your work, damnit. Like I said, give us some REAL answers. Every single time you guys talk about these meetings you have, you always come back with the same news: "Things are being worked on!" Are they? We've been hearing the same story for ages now and things don't get fixed. Hell, the only real change the site got was the new layout, which introduced MORE problems.
Try harder
This was directed at randal, but you know what, I'm going to field a bit to this. I am trying harder. I've been pushing this for several reasons: I'm dissapointed and pissed off about how this site is being handled, I'm sick of seeing everyone get the runaround, and finally
The most important reason
I was asked.
In my last thread I was told to push these issues, and goddamnit, I'm going to. Even in PQs this has come up. There are people here who want to know what the hell is going on outside of myself, and if I'm asked to, I'm going to start fucking digging to see what's going on. You should to. Try harder. YOU can get these answers.
Um. I would, but there's not search feature and I can't spend all night sifting through the forums when I have to be up at midnight to drive from Tuccumcari NM to Phoenix AZ. Just because I don't post a lot doesn't mean I don't read. ;)
***Edit***
You've posted a whole 210 times on the forums…
I wasn't going to address this until APC did… but I guess you don't count anything past January 2006 because that's all the site counts due to the most recent crash. Never mind that I've commented on thousands of comic pages… oh wait, those are mostly gone too. And if you include my tens, if not hundreds of thousands of posts in chat… I am in closer contact more often with several members of Drunk Duck than you can ever claim.
I have spent thousands of hours talking to these people in real time and know and am known by hundreds of Drunk Duck community members, both past and present. I'll not bore you with a list. There are too many to remember anyway. So many people had my comic faved back when Dylan last rebuilt the site that I had the only comic in the most faved list without ever being on the top list at the same time. Not for hours, or days or a week… several weeks if not months. Remember back when DD had comic rings? I had the largest one for the bulk of that phase… So please don't pretend I'm some upstart all wet behind the ears. You're smarter than that… Though, if you insist on going by post quantity over quality, then I guess that makes everyone in Top Drawer the upper echelon of the Drunk Duck Community. XD

You've taken that out of context. I never said taking things personally was a bad thing. I DO remember saying that you guys should get mad. You should get mad at Platinum for leaving you high and dry with no solid answers for the community.
Most intelligent people are able to not only make good points with their complaints, and can also put them in a way that isn't antagonistic that doesn't require the use of a 'but'.
Most of the intelligent people I know are social retards who couldn't string an eloquent sentence together to save their life. Never mistake eloquence for intelligence, nor intelligence for wisdom.

Again, see "You should get mad… at Platinum, not us."

Now you're just being supercilious and making yourself look bad. You're hurt, so you're lashing out. Calling me a half-wit to make yourself feel better. Well, if it makes you feel better… so be it. I mean, I only have a 140 IQ, so I guess that makes me pretty dumb on the scale of smart people. Which is fine with me, I like to keep things in perspective.
Non-apology via useless explanationTry harder
I was unaware I needed to apologize. I did try to extend the peace pipe, but that's about it. If you don't want to make peace, that's up to you. As for me, life is too short to hold grudges.

It apparently makes you pretty dumb on the scale of grammar, too.
*shrug*
Fine with me. I don't give a shit what you think about my grammar. Semantics is more important than syntax.
