Great! Who wants to mow my lawn?

Before I volunteer I'd have to know if you're referring to the patch of grass that grows in close proximaty to your house, or making a crude sexual dooble entendriay?

Did anyone notice my absence?

Bigger question: Did anyone care?

Stupid computer.

Well doesn't look like I missed much or did much.

PRODUCT'S A

WHAT NOW?!

One day absense isnt a big deal. Go for a week then maybe people might start slightly noticing.

And yeah. PP is he-man… Oh wait. No hes a mod. I forgot what he was actually getting at with that post.

This picture sums up why I keep disappearing and re-appearing from this site ;(

I also have some unholy addiction to Facebook. I really have no reason for it, I only talk to a few people on there, but still.
I need to work on my stuff more.

I think that I shall call this week the week of responsibility. I am the secretary of my campus's Student Occupational Therapy Association. Technically I'm just responsible for meeting minutes and keeping the calender up to date. But there was a server move/update on Blackboard (where we had our SOTA website on). And all the changes that the president had made in the previous month had disappeared. This included the position and contact information of all the new officers that had been inducted. So, now I'm in charge of sprucing up the site. (Thankfully, there is still access to the old page so I don't have to start from scratch…)

So I had the technical equivilant of being made a mod twice. (Though I have admin powers on SOTA, I'm really not to use them much. President has the final say and all.)

a raging rant review about the movie "the last ahirbender"
This movie is about ahng, the ahvatar. he travels with kahtara and soakuh. they are chased by banished prince zuko, and general ehro. ehro doesn't like tea. so he's not fat. the only spirit ahng sees is Ruko's dragon. whom talks. AND THERE IS NO GIANT FISH MONSTER IN THE END. I WANT MY FUCKING GIANT FISH MONSTER.
however, princess yue is done right. i mean, i thought they brought the drawing to life. the martial arts were done okay. oh, and ahng is already controlling the avatar state.

Fire benders don't make fire. nobodies asian except the earth kingdom peasents. the firebenders are all hindu indians.
the acting was horrible. the writing was horrible. it was presented as more of a drama, than action. They chose most of the wrong stories from the first book, to be represented.
In summary, this movie is this years "dragonball: evolution"

Had a date today, it went as well as I'd hoped. All I can say is:
Yummie.
Tanktop.
I'm still sleeping alone though… *SNIFF*

Furthermore I am sweating about four times as much as normal because SOMEONE (God) decided to punish us with extremely hot weather.

Fucking weather.
This is why I prefer winter.

This.

Everyone around me complained during last year's winter and now that's what we get. I hope at least *they* are happy now. :l

I've been finding lots of music I like recently. It's great. I've bought three CDs in the past two weeks and I love every song on them. I've got a lot of CDs and most of them have a few tracks I'm not keen on, but I just love every song on these albums. Not that anyone will actually take this into consideration, but Cloud Control, Animal Collective, and Tame Impala are the bands that I've recently found.

On weather:

Summer's too hot, Fall is too wet, Winter too cold and Spring will be too unpredictable. Weather is almost never the way you want it.

On music:

Both the new Burzum album (Belus) and the new Devo album (Something for Everybody) are great. And I think this shows how huge range of things I like to listen to :D

On work:

I seem to have ben tagged as the "guy who does odd jobs wherever they're needed on the line" at work. Seriously. Yesterday I did four different things on two separate lines! Ehh, as long as they pay me and don't fire me, it's fine with me.

I live in that more civilised hemisphere of this planet where it's currently winter.
I love cold whether because I get to wear stylish jackets, scarves, coats and things ^_^
Plus, getting warm is as simple as doing a bit of exercise or laying on more clothes (it's not like it's ever snow type cold here). The clod DOES get you down eventually of course, I'll freely admit that! But heat is far worse… Get can't take anymore clothes OFF once you get to bare skin, anything you do makes you sweat, the sweat doesn't cool you off because it's too hot for that!

In Perth (here), heat is worse than cold. In another latitude I imagine the reverse is true… somewhere where you don't get much heat but you do get a LOT of cold.

Music… I have such a MASSIVE CD collection and a huge MP3 collection that I could listen to this stuff for years and not get tried of it. I don't listen to commercial radio or watch music TV anymore so I'm insulated from new stuff. The only time I catch new stuff is by chance, when people recommend things to me, when I hear something live, pick up an old CD from somewhere, hear it on a DVD…

-people going- I noticed Seventy gone, I notice when most people pop off, but I've been here so many years noticing that that if I commented every-time someone wasn't showing up I'd be doing it constantly. I'd have to make a new thread just for that :P

It's been fairly hot here for a couple of weeks, especially in and around London; the climate here is so obviously on the move. Last week I saw a Japanese Beetle on the south coast. These critters like it hot and officially do not exist in the UK.

Illegal alien o_O

I remember a massive swarm of beautiful beetles like that- as big as a man's thumb joint, looking like the one in the pic except they were fully shiny metallic green or fully shiny gold (2 types… in Australian colours weirdly enough). They were swarming across the desert, going towards the lights of the road house service station, where they'd get flattened by the road trains.

The only problem with them was that they were stink beetles. -_-

aren't we all.

legally.

maybe he's been modded for that!

Or just for being PP. One of the two.

About Avatar: Well it was going to suck no matter who directed it or how much they tried. They had to sum up the whole "anime" series in a couple hour live-action movie. It's a thing NOT to do.
Too bad though 'cause I've been catching up on the episodes for a while now.
Rather go see Despicable Me, Toy Story 3, or Inception (not particularly sure if it's intresting or not).

I'm tired of doing nothing all day. So I'm going to do something today.
Amazing, no?
