I used to lift weights.
They got stolen…

Another good reason why you should learn exercises that utilizes your own body over weightlifting. Nobody's going to steal your arms.

…at very least you're going to notice if anyone tries.

Ugh! I took a break from my usual exercises for the weekend… Then the usual 75 pushups and 288 reps of weights now I feel ill. -_-
———-
Any one of the android thingos? I think they're al CDMA though… -_-

Before i injured my arm, a usual workout was 231 pushups with a 12 pound vest in or around 15 minutes. mostly in sets of 20-30. followed by 15-20 pull ups. running and swimming.

now i have to do assisted pullups and only 50-60 pushups, to get back to strength without re-injuring my arm. rarely do i do weights for upper body.

The Google phone is GSM. it's called the nexus one. but it's tied to crappy AT&T and also T-mobile, which isn't as crappy, but doesn't have great coverage. aslo if you truly care about internet, it's been having 3g problems here in the states. something about barely compatible with the networks.

I'm pretty sure that there are gsm android phones available outside the states. but any you get inside the states are going to be CDMA, because the Iphone hogging up at&t.

It's the only way to go lol!

Actually, I'm practicing capoeira, which doesn't have any "muscle pulling muscle" action. I'm just moving my body in a way that we're not used to move it, which exercises me in ways you couldn't imagine. I had sore muscles on placed I didn't even know I had muscles after the first week.

I used to do a lot more pushups, with weight on my back too, but nice even sets of 25 seem better for me.

Thanks for the advice ^_^
I'll need it to be GSM so I can use it here in Oz, in the US I'll probably just use it for internet stuff over WiFi at hotspots- Only using it for calls in an emergency or something.

Sound like a good plan?

I'm back from my unholy journey to Maryland for a "vacation". I got back yesterday, but was too exhausted to do anything except numb my mind with Halo.

I'm probably going to do something in my journal comic thing about this terrible trip.

And same, you ladykiller.

And now everybody's a mod.

Also regarding Avatar what do you mean the fire benders didn't make fire? And an indian Firebender makes me laugh. If I had to designate an element to Indians, it'd be earth/rock/ground.

Maybe it's a homage to that Indian fire priest guy from SF2? Dhalsim? He was the fire guy there I think.

they don't create fire. they have to light something on fire, then they make it bigger/smaller/ more concentrated.
in the end general eroh does some breathing, and just blows fire out his hands, and that freaks out all the other firebenders. and they run like little girls
Phone.

Sounds like a plan. but i don't know if you can get the discount price in oz. http://google.com/phone should be able to answer all your questions. if not, htc makes 80% of the android phones, so you could check into that.

Congratulations PIT' - if ever I'm trapped in a burning vehicle, I can't think of anybody I'd rather hack off my legs with a bloody big axe!

Pity nobody was there with a mobile to record that solo.

Sooooo fucking annoying!

Coupled with this

I honestly couldnt be bothered with any more of them. Other relationships are a scary place. Also shes hasnt left the house and barely eatne anything since i left. She bombarded me with apologies a while ago. I think thats scared the shit out of her to avoid her doing anything in the future.

Oh man. You got a license to fight fire.

Not quite. Interior firefighting is incredibly dangerous and you need to undergo rigorous training of navigating through unfamiliar rooms filled with smoke. You can get easily disoriented in such environment and you need to keep your cool. I've seen my share of such exercises (never actually undergone one) from the time I was training to be a rescueworker.

About Avatar: Well it was going to suck no matter who directed it or how much they tried. They had to sum up the whole "anime" series in a couple hour live-action movie. It's a thing NOT to do.
I don't know. The Ember Island Players did a pretty decent job setting up a feature length play out of it. ^^

exactamondo!how it works, in our dept at least, and all the ones i know of, you begin as exterior, which is a fire fighter over 18 who hasnt been through Fire Fighter 1 (fire fighter class) as exterior, you help with things in the "cold zone" which is you cant go into a dangerous incident and work on it directly, but you do things like change fire fighter's SCBA tanks (air bottles) when they get low, set up traffic cones, shit like that. interior is just like PP said. for us, we had to go through 5 months of training, both hands on and class room. at the end we take 2 tests, a practical which has 7 stations of hands on work, then about a week later, we have our written test from the state. the state takes forever to process though so the class has been over for almost a month now and we've still been waiting on results. my cheif got a letter in the mail and told me the other day though, so im friggin extatic!BEER TIME!…AGAIN!

and thank you irons! that's a sign of a true friend, haha!
