I've seen my favorite Canadian show…well…the only Canadian show I watch…(the Red Green Show by the way) for the first time in years this morning. They had taken it off the air for a few years, but now it is back…and just like I remembered it.

All in one scanner + printer deals though… I wouldn't touch those from anyone. They're almost always shit.
My all-in-one HP runs like a charm. Never had issues with it, always got a clear image and printed fine.WOW, two firsts:
First I've ever heard of an all in one running well for any length of time.
First time I've heard anything good at all about anything from HP for a loooong time o_O
I'm using an HP right now… It's not as good as my Toshiba was, but it gets the job done… That Toshiba lasted almost 3 years through the abuse of being shaken on a semi, dropped durring fast hard stops (thanks, road idiots), and various drops by my two clumsy kids. Of course… I'm talking about a laptop, not an all in one… and a Toshiba, not this HP.
Owchies.
I (me, my brother, and my sister) had a party on Saturday where I played Singstar and then my sister's friends played dress up with my clothes.
And then they tried to act like me and went up to my ex and started proposing and shit.
I don't think we're going to throw anymore parties.
Or that I'm going to allow them.
Finally finished all the Harry Potters and saw the 5th on TV.
'cause our copy is lost.

Man, it's not that easy to sort 500kb of random notes on a project.
So far all I managed to do is to confirm that I indeed have enough bits and pieces to last for a couple of thousand pages. Aaaand in case the large arc that I'm building is not long enough (for example ends up 150-200 chapters long) I have enough material that can be adapted into this particular world and turned into a second large arc.
On the other hand, my vampire project will most likely become a novel…. which solves this year's NaNoWriMo problem. :D

Distilling the stuff down to the pure gold is probably a better way to do it. Hew the stuff down to the solid, beautiful heartwood and you'll have a real prize there man!

Woo! my crappy ISP has finally seen sense and they've lowered the price and upped the download caps, so now I'm watching a lot of great shows on my comps while I work! Don't have to rely on great DVDs anymore!

Man, no wonder I didn't think Shawn of the Dead was that great. I'd forgotten how great Spaced was! Every single episode of that show is better than that movie.

My local TV station had the entire first season of Spaced for download! YAY!!!! I haven't seen that in fricken YEARS! It was GREAT to see again ^___^Beating Shaun Of The Dead is nigh-impossible. Spaced is now on my to-watch list.

Damn this post turns into a rant each time I try to write it, haha.
Ok then, first goal is to tell a good story. By which I don't mean a simple three act tale that can be hollywoodized, but a much longer tale that can be done only through comics (unless I'd write it as a series of novels I guess).
The second goal is to explore the characters, their connections with each others, their past and their future. To see them grow and interact…
The third goal is to touch upon as many genres as possible. Sci-fi, fantasy, horror, drama, "war stories", action, adventure, comedy, slice of life, romance, fresh fruit… to give nods to pretty much all things that go in comics. to american superheroes and to japanese "battle mangas" (picked up that term from Bakuman, haha) and so on… I could go on forever :D
And the fourth goal is to challenge Cerebus' lenght. In other words, it's an important goal but it comes AFTER achieving the other three. If I'll manage to get 300+ chapters out of the story? Good job, mission accomplished. If I'll get to the end ofit and notice I'm barely at 100 and I have no more material to work with? I'll wrap it up there.

and the novel's about an alternative history europe where the continent is split between two empires ruled by supernaturals. One is openly vampiric (where being a vampire is a privilege), the other one is officially shunning them but is being ran by them anyway. And then a threat appears that can put in danger both sides.

I'm reading a manga where the main bad guy so far gets his ass saved by the protagonist, who is a werewolf, from somalian pirate hitmen. This main bad guy, then, gets super pissed for some reason and beats up his number 1 henchman. Then he rapes him in the butt. Then the bad guy kills him. Then the protagonist gives the number 1 henchman some blood and he becomes a zombie vampire werewolf who has salamander-like regeneration powers.
Best manga ever.
-Edit- I forgot to mention that the bad guy bites off the zombie vampire's tongue through french kissing.

I got an amazing five hours of sleep, and now I have to go to my editing class, so this is going to be fun. On the bright side, I totally got a legal copy of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS5 yesterday for 200 bucks so I'm feelin' pretty good. Its nice to be able to edit things and not feel like I've got some horrifying virus hidden on my computer eating away at my disk space to planting gay porn in places I cannot find (which has actually happened before, boy that sure was a night!)

I did 225 for squats yesterday. It hurts to walk. But it's cool. I mean. At least now my legs are strong, as they used to be weak.
Also, I have been kicking so many ass (typed it that way on purpose) with my comic. I wake up, BAM. Get a page done. And everybody's happy.
