Been a strange week. My (10 weeks) pregnant wife craves meat…any kind of cooked, tasty meat. I don't mind this as it gets almost comical at times…and everything's healthy thus far, so I'm delighted about that.
However, this is also part of the reason I've been at work since 9:15am and it's now 9:51pm (I plan to be here till 10:45pm). Overtime is great (really!) but I think I'm losing brain cells now…

I'm not afraid of dying per-say. at least the act of being dead. i'm christian, so there's no worries there.
what i'm afraid of is the actual process. the cause if you will. bullets sting. an aircraft part through your abdomen, i'm sure is really painful. or the 30 second fall to the ground from certain heights.
it's the wait. the pain. that's what scares me.

UGH! My sister is in town to buy a car… She phones me up on a Sunday to go out with down to a place called Wangarra or wangaratta, or wanker-arter or something so she can get some fancy shiny chromey stuff to put all over her new 4 wheel drive. Took AGES to get there, and when we did finally get there she takes forever to choose just WHICH crappy shiny chromey things she wants… so another couple of hours way out in the arse hairs of Perth looking at the most mind-numbingly boring things in existence…

My cat is such a good sport. I dressed her up in a bumblebee halloween outfit(It was for dogs because apparently there aren't many crazy loons who like dressing up cats.) She just purred and sat there.
Kind of sad though because i got a medium and she apparently needs a large ._. So FAT.

When we got ours last year, my wife had already told me what she wanted. I found it online, called the place (Enterprise cars, of all places) and let them know what I wanted (2007 Kia Rondo - we'd rented one once to go to San Antonio). I came in to the dealership, negotiated, traded in our old minivan, put down the deposit and left with the car within a few hours. Got a good deal, too.
My point: it helps to know in advance what you want, and how much you're willing to pay for it. B)

Tattoos don't hurt to get, but they do something worse. Damn things itch and burn like crazy for days afterward. It's been driving me nuts for the last couple days, but you can't do anything about it. If you scratch, you'll rip the pigment right out of your skin, and slapping it just makes it worse. The problem is just how thick my skin is. They have to dig extra deep to get the ink to stay, but it makes the healing process take longer.
I think the weirdest part though is remembering that you have it and that it's there forever. I keep looking at my shoulder, half expecting it to be fading away already and it's still there, dark as ever. I just keep forgetting about it because it's no big deal to me. People think I'm crazy because of that.

I can't draw. It's not some kind of mental block - I literally can't draw - Mrs. Scarf is on this training course that puts her in front of the pc night and day and I only get on long enough to log in here and complain about it. No time to plug in my tablet, no time to draw my comic, or anything else. I can't really switch to paper and pencil either; it makes me draw in a completely different style now.

Working in a pet store it's hard not to buy crap like that all the time. My pets are all spoiled, I spend more money on junk for them than for myself.

Just kidding. Ha, but no, the costume was for my own enjoyment. Baby(the one in the picture) didn't seem to care but Annie seemed pretty pissed off when I tried to put it on her.
But they get all sorts of treats and toys and such, and top-quality food.
It's easy to see why people hate bugs: they are useful little creatures that promote life by keeping the biosphere running, whereas we are mostly just a blight on the face of the earth.
Of course, some blighters are more of a blight than others!

I love this time of year over here, especially when the sun is out. It's so low in the sky everything seems more 3D than usual and then there's all the colour: it's inspiring. I can't work on my strip, so maybe I'll start a new one with paper and pencil to keep me ticking over.
I'd love to see the england you speak of. but alas, i'll have to settle for not america.

I never thought my rank could be used so… condescendingly. it was one of those back handed comments. i thought i was doing good. introducing some good ideas. but i guess someone didn't like it, and boy howdy, they politely let me know.
thankfully they did it in private, so the sting was not as harsh as it could have been. yeah.
