So everything goes white as my insides are being burnt and then black as the sky blackens thanks to the volcanic eruptions and impact event…

I just figure when the world ends, the fire's gonna burn through all my nerves instantly so I don't feel a thing. I mean, if I'm surrounded on all sides by some blazing molten rock or getting torn down by a nuclear blast, it's not going to take very long before I'm ashes and little bone chunks.

Problem is this… when that Gamma Ray Burst hits us all those cosmic rays will burn out our digestive systems. If nothing else kills us soon after, we get to starve for a while. Maybe there's something else in those cosmic rays that will kill us quicker than starvation…

a HYPERNOVA is sort of like a supernova but it expends more energy and is less concentrated

Hypernovas are the same as supernovas, but the result of one is a black hole. Only the most massive stars can collapse immediately into a black hole at the end of its life (as opposed to massive stars that go supernova and become neutron stars) so they're pretty rare. WR 104 is one of these, located in the constellation Sagittarius.

I just got called for a job interview! ^_^ The last one I had was in November right before my trip to a webcomic expo (and by right before, I mean I got home at 9 PM and woke up at 2 AM to catch the plane). Like the last one, this one is at a state park in WV. This park is about an 7 hour drive from here but is fairly close to my aunt's place.

As more of a deja vu, I am taking a plane trip to visit a DD friend (whom I met at that expo) next Tuesday. My job interview is this Friday, so I have a little more breathing room for this one, since I should be home with a couple days to get ready for my other trip.

Hoping for good weather. That part of WV can be pretty nasty for travel this time of year.

…and the list goes on and on and on… That's the trouble with being so central on one main forum like this- you get to know and like the regulars and just expect them to always be there, but people come and go from websites and forums and things and move on to new interests at the time, and there are very few core people that ever constantly just stick around at one thing. That does take one back though. I miss Custard's delightfully angry at the world sarcasm and Midge being old. Heck, I even kind of miss Lefarce and how he used to get people so pissed off by being such an ass. Kind of.

My wrist is on fire from working at one of the school comps. They know we've got more lefties than righties in the illustration department, so naturally they decided to set up 3/4 of our Cintiqs on the right side of the computer and keyboard. All the left-handed computers are taken so I'm stuck doing an awkward twist to reach the quick key commands with my right hand. I wouldn't be dealing with this if I hadn't gone and lost my tablet pen and damaged the cord for my intuos over the weekend. So gaddamn pissed at myself. -_-

This is the only thing that bugs me about my intuos 3: you pay so much for the thing and it a great product, but then they stick a wire in the back that's about as flimsy as the wires in a singing birthday card.

Actually that's not true -I took the wire out of a singing birthday card to fix Thomas the Tank Engine and that sucker was stronger than the wire on the intuos 3 and now I hear the intuos 4 has an even flimsier bit of wire hanging off it.

Come on Wacom - you give us a tablet Moses could be proud of then attatch it to a toy wire? We're expecting some military grade shit here - wake up and smell the precariously balanced coffee on the edge of the keyboard???

Argh, an entire day of battling with templates, layouts, file uploads etc. But it was worth it, the new title looks good :D

School started and i've actually managed to stumble upon a social life, it's nice i wasn't even hoping for one this year.

Of course social life means basically me and my friend went to gamestop today and saw they were giving at promotional pokemon. We decided to buy some booster packs for nostalgias sake, got an ultra rare arceus card and others. Then finished mass effect2.
…maybe it's more of a nerd life with social activity…>_>

I have to forgive your bad puns because I just had a dream where you showed up, drinking coffee outside some kind of fancy coffee type shop and I was like "omg, famous webcomic person!". I have no idea what you look like but in this dream, you had the best cool specs.lol!

Also, that's my second dream this month about meeting a DD person. I need to be getting out more.

why dont people put periods after their sentances when they write on the net it doesnt take a whole lot to do and you look alot less like a retard is it supposed to be cool i dont know it makes it seem like whatever youre writing about even if its important isnt worth the effort

Heh, I went to the big casino here with my sister, family & friends tonight. First time I've ever been.
NOT my sort of place. It's like walking into a giant scratch card. I know there're thousands that go there as an extra-special night out and they really, really love it and see it as something a bit glamorous and cool…
That's nice for them. But… It's just a little bit sad. And a little funny.

But then maybe I'm just a condescending dickhead? ^_^

I'm getting used to a new graphics program (Paint Shop Pro X2). It has all the functions of the older version which I used forever, but the handling and the way all the tools respond are different enough to warrant some practice. It's actually smoother than the old one, but I am still getting a little frustrated that it handles differently than the one I've used for years.
