Why the hell was I in your dream? Well, thanks…I guess. Minus the part where Same takes my head off! What'd I look like? I know you had to be imaginative cuz you don't read my comic (and I will kill all who don't…um

Your head and Same's looked like the avatars you use. Kinda hard to explain unless I dream it again. Unlike Ozone, whose picture I've seen in the picture thread and Pitface who uses hers in her avatar.

And I'm glad you're recovering from your odeal, Product Placement. Hopefully you make a full recovery, though. And I also hope there's no permanent damage to your heart as that could affect your quality of life… after my mother's first and second heart attack she lost a lot of her vitality… (she lost her life a decade ago to her third massive heart attack, which was on the 11th of this month…) T_T

I see we've lost everything that was posted earlier today. I'm too lazy to remember what I was grouching about though. Other than to say it had something to do with wanting my grandfather's old rifle in addition to his other combat gear from world war 2.

Is it me or were there more posts here on this thread? I can swear I said some crap about me feeling sick…and PP's "brush with death" (only kidding)…

And now I see that Iba has noticed too!!! What's going on???!

And I went through the page bug again… UGH.

awesome. as soon as i'm stabilized financially, here comes hard hitter from the left field.

i just got a letter in the mail today, that says we owe the last place we lived a ridiculous amount of money. as in, the amount that i'm getting back in taxes. the amount i was going to use to pay off all but my car, and have spare money in the bank. to finally feel free of debt.
we moved out 4 months ago, and this is the first i'm hearing of it.

they said that we wouldn't get the deposit back, but that was fine….there really is no reason why it should cost this much, unless the house caught on fire, the last day we were responsible for it.

I just noticed that too! I had a pretty good rant there, too.

Summary of what I remember:
PP, glad you're okay! I like modern medicine too.
PQs are buggy at the best of times.
Transition from childhood to adulthood is hard, can't decide what I'm going to do for college.

baking soda gets rid of smells! pour it on the rug an' seats, let it sit for a few hours and then vaccum it out!

What do you do if you find out someone died in your car? Kinda hard to get rid of that dead person smell, don't you think?

naw the smell is rather easy provided that you get rid of the blood stains or any leakage. it's the feeling that someone died in your car that can be tricky to get rid of- but that's all in your head!

I wondered… I came back wondering why I had such a comparatively low page view count for an update day, then checked and saw my update had vanished into the ether. WTF. D: Here's hoping the re-upload sticks…

Indeed. :(

Here's hoping the programmer stops trying to do this fix altogether, unless the site is frozen first so we can prevent people losing hours of their time on the site. -All those cumulative hours from all those people spent uploading comic pages, writing author notes, communicating via PQs, writing comments, posting in the forums are being wasted in order to fix a relatively minor issue.

That's not cool.

Bloody hell!

This is the worst server move yet you guys. I couldn't log in last night and now that I'm back I find that almost everything I did yesterday is gone.

Oh, I see that people are already complaining about that.

And my PQ count is still at +1.

And sine I need to retype some of my earlier posts, then I should mention that I thanked everyone who expressed concern or wished me well after mentioning my little trip to the hospital.

This isn't helping you "take it easy" is it. D:

I don't mind the comic pages mainly cause I havn't updated in a long time but I do hate the forum posts disappearing D:<

Be as that may, I uploaded THREE bloody pages for the fightplosion and now they're all gone. So are all my recent posts over at fightplosion. I also wrote a massive post in order to start the next Mafia game, wrote few PQ's… Pick a day to crash when I'm particularly active, why won't you?

All right. Enough bitching. I've got damage control to take care off. At least I don't need to redraw those pages, only re-upload them. Wished I save that mafia post of mine, cause it had allot of newly written material in it.

The trouble is that it's not a crash, a bug, or an unfortunate error of any kind.

Those site white-outs were deliberate:
The programmer is working on moving across the last of the old services from the old server. Then he shuts off the old server to see if he got them all… then the site goes down. Then he turns it back on again and all the stuff we posted a little while before is gone.

Fine. We can suck it up and live with it when it happens once. But not twice, or three times, or four or however many times it has! That fucks things up for thousands of people at random constantly!!!!!!. >:\

…And I hate the firefox spellchecker. That thing was written by a moron! When I'm very, very annoyed my spelling messes up and the damn spellchecker does not help me fix half the mistakes so I have to retype every 4th word! Grrrrr! >.<

You know the site white-outs are managed poorly when even the admins get pissed about it. That's all I have to say right now, because I'll be betting this post'll disappear tomorrow morning anyway.

I found the solution to losing posts - post somewhere else. Always found it a struggle to get any dialogue going here anyway.

Interesting, the one important post I made yesterday was recoverable… because I posted it elsewhere too, hah.

The whole thing is annoying though. Especially when it happens on an update day. Especially when you're trying to make the effort to finally read all the comics you have bookmarked over the last year or so and you keep on getting stomped by the server every ten pages or so.

At least my pages were pre-uploaded in a batch, so nothing broke in the comic itself so far.

Wow… I've been watching the Pawn Stars show on The History Channel and I'm starting to wonder if that shop is authentic. I go to pawn shops myself and I don't see that kind of thing there. Of course, I pawn off some of my games when I need a cash boost and then pick them up later (don't do this too often since I could forget to pick them up…. and that's 5 games lost due to forgetfullness).

Hopefully 5 cups of coffee in the past 6 hours will keep me up at work for 8 hours tonight. Too bad the caffiene in coffee has a weak if negligent effect on me… Either it will keep me awake for a few hours, or it'll do nothing at all.

Also gotta get a haircut as soon as I can. It's required for work, but my reasons are more personal. I don't know how people with long hair can even stand it. All the itching and hair getting in your face and eyes… ugh… I guess it's something that people get used to if they've been living with long hair for a while.

Interesting advice. Unfortunately it sort of undermines what Skool and I are trying to do here- getting the site stable for the users so they'll stay because we like it here as much as them.

But, you do what you want.
I guess it's something that people get used to if they've been living with long hair for a while.
Of course you do. Beards though are something else. HARD to get used to.

5 pages of like totally awesome stuff… and I've only used one source. Gee I guess that the final history project of mine, sure will be annoying XD In other news… in about 4 weeks I'll be in Germany, Trier to be precise. I'll be stayin' there for 2 weeks. Sure hope that this schooltrip will be worth it >_>
