airlines suck

Ironically i get my cheapest airline tickets directly from the airlines. at least compared to priceline; oribitz; travelocity….
oh, i didnt know that man. thanks alot.
the drama continues. u.s. airlines says i double booked. expedia says i reserved the ticket, but it was never booked, yet i have a comfirmation number in my e-amil. on top of it, im find all sorts of things that say the ticket isnt refundable, when i KNOW i payed for insurance. been on the phone over an hour dealing with this crap.

oh!oh! it gets even better! expedia says the flight was never booked, yet i just got back from the bank. about 380 dollars were charged to my account for delta airlines. the flight was booked. now lets see if i can get my money back from delta, or if they would like to screw me to! i mean i know im gorgeous, but c'mon, not EVERYONE has to fucking SCREW ME!

Just bought a ton of music for my party. I basically had no choice since I listen to a lot of weird ass shit that's not suitable party music. Some of the songs suggested by my friends were pretty good though, for rap anyway. I might end up listening to them a lot.

I got my permit for real now. I'll probably start driving this weekend. I told my dad I was going to be peeling out of the school parking lot "Tokyo drift style" in his Mercedes. You know, while he's on retreat up in New York. Needless to say he requested that I "don't hurt myself and treat Mr. Benz with respect… driving Mrs. Daisy style."

Aww.

Only good rap being produced these days is Atmosphere. Slug is pretty much the only MC I've heard in recent years who isn't constantly writing every song about beating hoes, dancing or "thugging out". And I end up listening to a fair amount of hip hop and rap being at an urban art institute.

And a Benz would be absolute suicide to try and drift in. Their suspensions are built for soft rides and quietness, not performance, like they want you to believe. The only thing a Mercedes is good for is having a stylish car. They're typically not remarkably fast or maneuverable compared to other vehicles in their class.

It seems kind of sad to me that I know this sort of thing on reflection.

Really. We've had it for a couple of years and it seems pretty sweet to me, it's probably the safest car we own. My mom has been known to peel out of a driveway like an effin' speed racer cartoon and we're not dead yet, so I'll have to take your word for it. Can't be anymore dangerous than our mini van, which is like driving a roller skate.

MY LEGS ARE FALLING OFF!

Well, not really, but they sure do feel that way.

I took a lovely 2 HOURS long walk to the potential future job place (did not have any money to buy tickets) outside of the city. Argh. but one way wasn't so bad.

Except then we had to spend about 8 hours listening to them talk about the security measures, protective gear, where and when to smoke, where is what and all that stuff. Well, having that completed… I got to walk back home for another TWO hours.

This is the most walking I did since my trip into the mountains in… oh… 1994?

I think I managed to get back on sheer willpower (it was silly to collapse 25 minutes away from home).

Well, having completed this, all I need to do now is wait until the end of the month for the medical checkup (they can't legally hire you for any physical job unless you have visited a doctor first… if they hire you without that, any kind of medical issues popping up during your worktime can get them fined pretty bad), and if that goes well (I already know my hearing is slightly shot) I'll have a job!

And I'll be assembling your future Philips, Toshiba or AOC monitor/lcd tv :P

Oh well, at least I took a pretty scenic route, through the outskirts of the city. So that part was fun!

I'll be sore at least until monday though.

You'll get no sympathy from me. 4 hours of walking on even terrain, with an 8 hour rest in between? I'm still waiting for the swelling on my toes to reside after the mountain hike I took about a week ago.

Bad day. Rain came back. Became single again.

Wrote a song out of sadness. Decent song. Need to make official lyrics.
Wrote another riff for electric. A metal jam.
Have a title to one: The Bending of Spoons and Other Ways You Too Can Feel Like Yoda. Another could be (or the official band name) "The Oh Shit Situation". I like both.
We now have 7 riffs/drum parts to songs and one full song. Yay.
And we're definitely covering 7 Nation Army and maybe Another Brick in the Wall and I want to do a System of a Down one.

and sad again. :(

Try to get your mind off of that for now. Remember that you're still young and you've got a lot of life ahead of you. And that there's plenty more fish in the sea. Don't waste it all on being depressed or you'll just go nowhere.

Blech… it's raining here. A LOT. And yet another hole opens up in my workshoes and I had to stand/walk the entire 8 hours with a foot soaked in a wet sock. Pretty painful for me and worse thanks to my diabetes (I have to check my feet every day even though my nerves are working fine… the disease eventually damages your pain sensors 'til they don't work anymore and you won't be aware of a bad infection 'til it's too late)… Also running out of my meds and the mail service isn't 100% reliable when it comes to delivering that; even if I order the things a month early they can take up to six weeks to come in… O_O

It's not that even. While we don't have big mountains in the area, the city is plastered over a bunch of hills so it's up and down and up and down… and it was roughly ten times longer distance than the longest distance I did in the last 6 months.

On the other hand I have a friend who works for the gas company and he's always WALKING there every month… I think twice even? go read the meter then come back with the bill.

When I say it'd be suicide, I just mean that a Mercedes isn't built low and wide like a drift car. You'd probably end up snapping your sway bar and struts at best and rolling the car at worst. Not that it's really all that important beyond me being tired enough to yap on about crap nobody cares about.

I would honestly love walking everywhere I go.

However, there's always the fear of people thinking I'm a creeper.
And then time.
And then laziness.

Yeah. Lots of factors.

I just deleted my 1 billionth comic.
In other news, I just started another comic! I hope it makes it past one page.

i care. i care deeply.

So i think i found a way to break my laziness about not writing my own original story for my comics. and i helped somebody out along the way.

Riding a bike everywhere is good too. i just need to find one to buy.

Yeah, I know a lot about a lot of things, but I have no effing clue about that stuff.
Being an anti-driver that is :)

Man, I got a cold or something on Monday. It was bad enough to make me stay home on Tuesday, but since then I've been pretty ok…
Except for a dry throat and a voice like Tom Waits. T__T
My voice is screwed. Lucky I don't sing for a living. I can't cough and make it better either, there's nothing to cough up.

I'm croaking like a bullfrog. >.<

Condolences over your dead president man. :(
But I just heard that your Prime minister is called "Tusk". That's pretty amazingly cool ^^

Wow… Rune Factory Frontier… Kross is a creepy guy… at first. You give him his favorite gift, and he slighty blushes and his eyes sparkle… eww… However, he IS the only carpenter in the game. In fact, he's an incredibly fast carpenter. It only took him a few moments to put up my monster barn. Then again, it's only a video game… What's amazing I think is that if I was a girl, I'd probably go "Fangirl" over him. The guy looks emo and seems constantly depressed. Now I'm scaring myself…

One of my cousins wants to come over once I get to the "Beach Festival" in the game. Apparently everyone wears swim gear at the beach during that time in the game. No way I'm going to tell him, though… He's probably going to look at jailbait in swimsuits. Bad enough he's still trying to get me to download Artificial Girl 3 for him, tried to put nude mods for The Sims 3 on my machine and used up my printer ink to print out his manga… don't ask about the manga… Jeez… I wonder why he can't go out and get his own Wii… O_O

I guess I'll go make some breakfast. Diagnally sliced Hawaiian Portuguese Sausage, fried in a frying pan then drenched in lemon juice sounds good right about now. I probably won't eat the eggs, though… it'll add to the cholesterol count of the sausage and according to a post by Skoolmunkee, they're damned…

so the places response to my disputes was to send me pictures of everything i wasn't disputing, and demand all the exact same price.

I'm getting a lawyer this week.

I still haven't recovered from my walk yesterday and what does my brother come up with? "well, I have go to work earlier so here, have a hammer and this here screwdriver and use them to chisel away some of the wall where the new wires will go". Hit myself on the fingers FIVE times (lightly luckily because too loud bangs are actually hurting my ears so I didn't hit hard), burned up half of my energy and since I was hitting pretty close to the ground, I was crouched… which means now my legs are in even more pain. Great, thanks a lot.
Best part, came out he did not have to go earlier after all (his boss called it off and told him to come 3 hours later) so he took over and finished it… the funny part? the bit I did in an hour, he did a similar bit in 5 minutes, heh. I'd be still chipping away at the goddamn wall :P

But luckily I still managed to color some pages, despite feeling somewhat tired.

Only reason I know is because I grew up with the car industry as a major factor in my life.

Does anyone on DD know anything about rotary grinders? I'm looking to replace my Dremel that crapped out and I've heard Proxxon tools are pretty good, just a little more expensive. I just don't want to buy another Dremel considering I just bought this one less than a week ago and I haven't exactly been abusing it doing light grinding on wood blocks for printmaking.
