It's just after you get past the third stage, the AI, which is programmed to respond to your every action with a flawlessly executed counter attack, is simply making you lose.

This right here is what i hate about the tekken series.

I love the Tekken series for just that.
I have friends that come over and play tekken and get so angry that they almost throw away the controller.
Classic.

So right after i installed photoshop CS5, CS4 stopped working :/ Okaaay. But it's really not that different aside from ultra fine tuning…on the surface at least. I haven't really delved into it beyond comic design.

It was also running slow so clicked to let it use memory of my external HD and it's faster than cs3 now. I probably could have done this with CS4…but oh well. I think it fixed that shitty zoom a bit…maybe. I have no way of comparing since CS4 wont work.

So far, I haven't come across anything even remotely different from CS4 to CS5 myself. I've been running CS4 off my laptop and tried CS5 on the desktop, and at least as far as an illustrator is concerned, I can't see that they've made any improvements to the functionality at all. Most of what I've found is stuff that a photographer would find useful but is no help to anyone else. I'm personally just going to stick with my copy of CS4 and pick up Painter for my yearly software update instead.

Also, you should give me critique/advice. Go now

I hate rage-quitters. That is all.
They live by the mantra, "If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen"

And if they could only take the flames you're spitting…

I've been eating 2-3 bowls of 12-bean soup for the past 3 days…it's delicious but…the smell…THE SMELL
I even soaked the beans overnight hoping the gas would lessen -_- Fat chance.

I completely inked a page today-maybe i can get another one done tomorrow~

This isn't the same as "Can dish it out, but can't take it", is it?

CS4 to CS5
Ugh, another version…?!
lba's right though, there's usually not much dif between versions, apart from funky stuff for lazy photographers.
I've been using it since version 4 and a lot of the changes even from them (for using it as an art program) are really glacial. Lots of superficial stuff generally.

I bought a full retail version of CS4, no discounts, no student licenses, no pirating. Not cheap. -_-
Not interested in a new version yet.

My work still uses Photoshop 7! I don't have any problem moving between CS4 and version 7. That's how similar they are.

Ugh.. I'm using the version of photoshop that came with my tablet. Lots of disabled or unavailable features. So I'm stuck using the photoshop program to do my drawing, then using my Micrografix program to create the pages themselves as well as speech balloon. It's a real headache…

Got a few DVDs over the weekend that I've been meaning to see but have never bothered with before:

Sky captain and the World of Tomorrow
- Brilliant! Looks superb. This is how CG and real scenes should be done. Of course there are some clunky moments, but the look is beautiful, extremely stylish. And it's dieselpunk, like Pinky TA so added bonus!
The story is simple but it's meant to be. It just works nicely. Brilliantly designed film, every shot looks great!
The commentaries are pretty funny in a way… "all this was blue screen" "the stuff's not there, that was just a blue box" "that was blue… so was that" "more blue".

Galaxy Quest.
-Not brilliant. Best things about this film were Sigourney Weaver's tits and hair, the film concept, and the silly dark-haired aliens pretending to be humans. The other actors were pretty lame apart from Sam Rockwell and the nerdy kids- them and the human/octopus aliens gave the best performances, plus Alan Rickman wasn't too bad either. The direction and cinematography wasn't very good, most shots could have looked a LOT better. It was a relief to watch Sky Captain afterwards and see a film with a director that knew what he was doing… ironic because he was a first time director who just mostly did animation on his own computer!
This one could have worked a lot better and been funnier and punchier if the director knew what he was doing. And Tim Allen was pretty flat.

Sky captain and the World of Tomorrow I agree. That movie was nice. It looked like a future film from the 60's with special effects.

Galaxy Quest. The movie could have been better but I liked the idea of it. I also liked the design of the aliens.

I've been in such a horrid mood all day and I don't know why. I'm in the constant state of being irritated with everyone, which is weird since I had a great weekend otherwise.

I had a lot of biology homework, but that doesn't normally bother me so much and I was able to get most of it done. I also I lost my inspiration with my comic once more, which usually happens after I have a burst of creativity. I have enough comics to sail my way through that though.

I wonder if it's just that it feels like summer here, but I know I have school still. It's bugging me. Oh well.

Does anyone know what would happen if you were to add 5 drops of water to CoCl2? I didn't have time to finish a lab and my chemistry teacher still expects me to fill in all the questions. :(

Answer this question: When a person comes to you, looking to work with you in business, you (A) take their call and discuss what they're interested in, (B) Politely decline for whatever reason is appropriate or (C)Ignore their call completely for a while, but eventually pick up and proceed to be an absolute dick to them, simply because they are not a big enough name for you.

Now, if you guessed (C), you've got an idea of exactly what this company just pulled. They picked up the phone, and more or less told me that their art director doesn't usually waste much time on "un-established" artists and that if I'd like, I could try to apply for an internship with them.

When you are a company in a seriously struggling market that desperately needs outside money and companies taking an interest in your area, you should try to avoid acting like you're a big shot, important asshole who can fuck over whoever you want without consequences. Eventually, one of the "little people" is going to have the ear of the bigger person who recommended them to you.

Got another page penciled and inked today. Hot damn i'm so close to finishing it-the very first comic i ever finished ;—; It's ironic that the thing that's pushing me is that i wanna do another comic-but i have to wait before jumping to it.

Also lol:

Before I met you, the sun looked like a grape.
Now the sun looks like a mass of flames.
Speaking of flames,
Have you felt the heat of the flames
Of my love for you?
Assuming you have, did it make you uncomfortable?
If not, would you please fan those flames
With the constant reasurrance that you also love me?
Although you probably don't love me,
Because nobody ever has,
I have this irrational hope that perhaps you could be the one,
To finally bring a little light to my pathetic life,
To love me for who I am,
And believe in me,
Even though I don't believe in myself,
Because I'm not actually sure if I exist
Or if I'm the figment of someone else's imagination.
Laugh everytime i read it.

I'm not a cheater! D: Well, maybe a little.
There was nothing in my notes to help me…I figured it was probably a colour change but I didn't want to write something stupid. Thank you! :)

I have 150pts of wiggle room for a passing grade…. I got myself into this mess by missing that one assignment and an awful grade of my exam…but shit. Shit, shit, shit, doodoo frosting, cahcah sprinkles, shit-cake. T___T

Can only hope some weird stroke of luck gives my teacher mercy for once on the lousy job group debates, otherwise i only have 50 pts wiggle room.

I don't believe I've told you all, but I've managed to fix my computer.

I found a random hard-drive in my bro's room, popped it in, and come to find out, it's an old hard drive of mine that works perfectly.

Apparently the one I've been TRYING to put in, was the Xbox hard drive. Even though I though this one was.

So now I have my computer back, yayyy.

And I also stayed up until 1 AM texting this girl that I met through a friend. Let's hope this goes well.

Also did my study guide for my test in Chemistry today (it was Friday, but I was sick on that day) so let's all hope I pass, eh?
