Hey! It only took 24 hours for me to be able to log in! : D
I'm happy to see the duck back and I REALLY don't want to complain, but… my eyes actually hurt from looking at the forums here. Not in the "I don't like the colors way" (I do like them separately!) but my eyes actually hurt from straining to read this. D:

The yahoos in charge of picking the paint (as well as those defending the eyesearing combination) would be better served going here, here, and here.

If I look at this page too long, I swear all the colours begin to move around like in one of those magic books where it screws up your eyes and you see a picture of a shark or something.

Despite receiving increased readership of my comic of late, I feel it was a mistake to restart ink LaRue on the Duck. Ink LaRue will now only update on ComicFury.com

*sigh* Finally wrote a story for the new "SSS" comic I put up on TD and the other site. Don't know if it'll stand though. During one part a college dean gets put away for his transgressions thanks to the only piece of evidence he didn't anticipate… an digital audio recording. Not sure if a digital audio recording would be enough to put away a powerful guy like that (presumably he's already taken care of all the other "tangible" evidence so his victims have no ammo to use against him). Maybe I'll just roll with it and see what happens…

I'm glad during my last eye exam my eye doctor gave me a special plastic strip to put over my eyes. makes reading this forum more bearable. Of course that pain is merely discomfort compared to the eye exam I took… meds to make my irises dilate and keep them that way for 5 hours plus a very bright light shining directly onto my retinas… Never thought the pain would be so intense. ow… Still, it's pretty important since nearsighted people like me have a bigger chance than most of having my retinas spontaneously detach from the back of my eye, leaving me blind…

And yes… when I say this color scheme hurts my eyes, I'm not kidding. It literally hurts (though that's just discomfort but still). Heh… I still miss the color scheme The Duck used when I first came to this community (after being "convinced" to leave my prior community by a rather hostile admin). Not gonna leave this community on account of the site though. Lots of friends here and the most friendly community I had the pleasure of running into… :)

Well, I finally have a proper rant for the New Duck:

It's a pity, really, that so many people are jumping ship and moving off to test other waters, I don't blame them, of course, and I don't think anyone would turn around and say "You're so stupid!" At least, I hoped they wouldn't. I've had more than one person from both DD and abroad say to me: "I'm NEVER going back there again, curse that Duck!" And then question my reasons as to why I stick around on the Duck. I don't see why it is such a problem, me staying here, anyone staying here for that matter. I don't see why people need to argue about it.

Eh, whatever, everyone's got their choices, and everyone has got their opinions.

Not getting any work done at the moment, comic wise. I really should, I missed an update last week on the Mirror stie, and of course, DD has been down so no updating for any of the fans on DD (fuck life, I'm still calling it DD) but I've just got all this work to do for school.

I think I might take a break for a week or two, just to get everything in order and get back on track before I update next. Otherwise I'll be all flustered and stressed and come up with unfunny jokes about Play-Doh or something.

It's a dangerous road. I just mentioned it because I saw an add for Play-doh "pizza" making stuff, and at the end the kid says: "It's for playing with, not eating!"
That kid doesn't know what he's missing.

Eh… just do what I'm doing now and wear sunglasses when viewing these forums. Well… I'm wearing the "sunglasses" the eye doctor gave me, but I'm sure any set of shades will work.

*adjusts his sunglasses in a very suggestive manner…*

Yep. And now I wish I didn't post that. Because now I'm really pissed off that everyone's comic images have now been butchered and pixelated beyond belief with the move for no apparent reason. (which I mentioned in the Bug thread)

I could deal with the change, I could deal with the colour scheme, I could deal with everything else. But this, this compression of artworks making them noisy and muddy is absolutely unacceptable.

Sigh… Ironscarf, get me a whisky would you? I'm coming to join you guys. :/

Hmm… I'm not in the mood to check all my Magiversity comics for this pixellated effect. I guess the file change from JPG to PNG(?) was smooth for my comics though as the latest one hasn't been affected.

argh… I don't feel like working tonight, but I don't want the guys named Bill to be bothering me about nonpayment… and cutting off my power and internet because I didn't give them money… T_T

Do it, from what I've seen, its effected lots of people, mostly with coloured comics. But even have a look on the main page, the Featured Comic's images are all pixelated as well. :/

I have a few colored pages in there, so I'll have to check them and replace them if possible. I'd do colored comics myself, but Photoshop Elements is so limited… -_-

Because they removed that feature. They knew you'd be a security risk.
I've already faved Mag Isa over on CF. You need to start uploading there! =)
