Trying to bolt down two large trades…I hate when they reply really fast for the majority of the trade, and then get all quiet after one of your offers. I mean they're big trades and you can't junp into agreeing, but that apprehension of 'did i ask for too much? are they gonna reply back?' sucks.

But if both go over i'm gonna feel like a champ.

Ok, Skool and I do Quackcast 15 tonight! We worked way too hard on the preparation for this one. Waaaaay too hard. We have no idea what difference it'll make to have 7 bajillion hours worth of research to refer to, but I think we should read out our notes in news reader voice just for the fun of it. :)

What's this "we" crap?

I thought I was mostly over this cold but suddenly it's getting worse and I have to keep going outside in the pouring rain to pick up kids 'n'stuff. Also I'm not sure it's a good idea to show anyone your pages in progress: I did that and I got "what's with all the wild angles" and I'm like "angles? What angles?". Now I'm questioning my panel choices.

At least they liked Emily's cute nose. :)

Never show progress work! It's one of the rules of we slow painter. The work has to be a big surprise \^_^/

Actually I did the majority of our notes for the main topic, mianly because I said I would because I had more knowledge about it, but both Skool and I put in a lot of extra prep work intoour features too this week- way more than normal

Pencilling my fourth page today… (5th total). Once I'm done with this one, only 37 more to go :D

I decided to start updating again on March 2nd. So it's 3-2-1, haha. Hey, I should use that in a banner or something *shall make one later*

(Drawing 52 pages should de-rustify my human drawing skills, right? This is why I don't like coloring, I stop drawing regular stuff while doing that and my skills slide back further the longer it takes to finish colors.)

I wonder if I can finish all the pages before the end of the month? Probably not but worth a shot :D

Edit:

My dream: to be able to consistently finish 3 pages every day (pencils, inks, lettering) and still have some time left for entertainment and stuff :D

Tried making chocolate truffles today. Turned into fudge.
If I continue with the way the recipe says im just gonna end up with fudge balls. That does not sound appetising at all. Good thing Im not making them in ball form. Noone wants fudge balls.

somethin feels off lately. my art's still doin allright, the end product aint bad, but there's somethin off in the process. i feel like i've lost some kinda balance or vision and i dont like it.

Ill, stressed or exhausted? Yesterday I had a really productive day.. today had been rubbish. Managed to letter one page and do a couple of panels of another. lame.

eh, could be! i've been sharinf my mind with alotta different priorities and stuff like that and it's not that im necessarily doing alot during the day, but since christmas anyways i hadnt been working on as much art, i think if i bury myself in a few good projects and just go ape shit on em ill be allright.

I feel like I'm in a pool of sharks for these 6-8 or so ebay items I'm after…They're large japanese sets and there's about 8 different people actually bidding on them, even more ready to come in and snipe.

I wish I could see peoples max bids and that i could sweat money.
