Call them Truffails. Tell people they're supposed to be like that.

This sounds marketable.

DeviantArt locked me out of my account and apparently lost my email address because none of the 6 password recovery requests I sent went through. SOOOOOO now after two days of back and forth emails trying to prove my identity, it's going to take about 3 weeks for them to let me back into my account because they "only do things like this in bulk every few weeks."

I wouldn't care all that much except I have commissioners waiting. I have their email addresses and their payments went through and everything but, man, could this have happened at a worse time? No. D:

Very frustrating night. Found out that work will now be starting at 5 in the am. This will have zero impact on when I will be getting home in the evening.
A man in Scottsdale AZ (around a 2322 mile drive away) used a clone of my debit card to remove cash from the atm. Then he did the same with a clone of my wife's card. The bank's response was that this sort of thing just happens, and their insurance will cover it. That is not good enough for me. I had to borrow money to get gas and dogfood today, and pay a friend back when the money is deposited into my account.
Meanwhile this Scott Dale of Arizona has almost an entire paycheck of mine, in cash, and I guarantee nothing's going to happen to him. What effort did he expend getting this numbers? Maybe a 50 dollar investment online. I'm so upset about this that I'm not yelling, which sounds sad when I actually say it, but I guess it's the truth.

The Quackcast recording went ahead ok.
I got 5 hours sleep in the afternoon and 3 hours in the morning after we finished recording, so I'm well rested today!

Skool and I went on and on, and on for ages… Looks like it'll be another two parter like our interview with EENick and Amelius. But it's all important info about the comic making process and we name-checked a few DDers in the process :)

Two great web series on Youtube: PG Porn, and Roomating.
I think they're both probably from a while ago and I'm just discovering them now…

-Best episode of PG porn is "Helpful Bus"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tkq4ipN-FTU
It's based on the gonzo porn series "Bang bus". Very funny. ^_^

-Best episode of Roomating is "episode 10: gun"

Five pages pencilled today again. Not as fast as I'd like it to go, but it'll do. One more page to go on this short story, then I'm scanning all 12 finished pages and inking them.

If I manage to ink 5 a day, it'll mean I can keep up a tempo of 2 full pages a day fairly easily. Although I think it'd be wise to try to do 3 pages whenever I have enough time to tackle another one.

Number 7 on my top 10 most horrifying memories is that time me and my friend went to Dilliards(semi-upscale mall store) and he stepped outside to call his mom. Then this really disgusting neckbeard man sauntered up from the parking lot, put one finger on his nose and a ginormous wad of snot spat from his nose. I almost threw up, the splat on the cement was fucking huge.

Worst part is my friend didn't even see and i have to bear this horror alone. *dabs beaded brow with her dainty neckerchief*

First, that new avatar is really creeping me out.

Second, I've got a big problem. One of my comic files got corrupted. There are ways to recover the file, but I'm not sure what to use, and I'm working on a bit of a budget here. Does anyone know of any good freeware recovery programs?

On the plus side, yesterday made me feel like productivity incarnate: 15 hour work day, and almost all of it was very efficient and with only a handful of small breaks. The activity on my facebook friend feed brought three people asking to give me money, and I was rocking out on a new speed-painting technique for portraits. The downside- I felt like a caricature. The day had been entirely one-dimensional. At the end of it, everything had blurred together and it felt like I'd lived a week… a week of isolated labor. Left me kinda cold. And I woke up 6 hours later, alert and ready to work. I'm not sure if that's heaven or hell.

Katch- Every once and awhile, the pandora station I've been listening to will start playing club music. It's very amusing when the beat synchs up with yer avatar.

Ugh, I need money, but I really just want to sleep, but I also need to wash clothes. -__-. Well, I didn't do much productive today. Just hope I start tonight better than last night.

I am almost vomiting just by reading that…
There's something about the neckbeard that transforms people into…
