Distance learning courses actually work… wow. Only realized this now. Used to be a heavy skeptic on things like online education and distance learning.

But then again, I must caution you that before attempting distance learning you MUST have had at least some foundation level courses and have actually been in a classroom and have actually interacted with the teacher and other students.

Also check local laws. See if its accredited by the local agency that regulates the profession. If its unregulated, distance learning is the way to go. :)

You guys need jobs where you can leave it all at the office door on the way home. :)
You mean a physical job? :)
They tend to leave you tired so in a way you take them home too.
Nope. Any job where it's finished for you at knock-off time. My graphic design work is finished for the day when I walk out the door. ^_^

——————-
Nightmare headache today. I had to go and see a doctor… Throwing up green vomit all day. :(
Doc gave me an injection in the bum. It hurrrrrrrrrt!
But at least I stopped vomiting and was able to get some rest. No headache at the moment fortunately.

My job is 24/7 for years at a time, i even have bags packed in the closet by the front door. I don't know what i'm going to do when i get a job at mcdonalds, or somewhere else, where i can't take work home.

I'm pretty sure if he ever returned it afterwards, it'd have a lot of strange dried stains on it… -_-
That was my one regret about buying bayonetta used at gamestop. Even though i cleaned it after buying i rarely touched it.

Speaking of creepy stains, I've won a vibrating pokemon plush in an auction. This was apparently sold at mcdonalds in japan… why. =__= I plan to clean it as well.

I like being able to work from home too much to (voluntarily) switch to the go-in-every-day model. And even then I wouldn't be able to leave it at home. Salary is salary, you're expected to do the work even if you have to work more hours than usual to do it.

It all gets made up elsewhere, it just sucks sometimes when it cuts into your time too much.

I'm exhausted tonight (in a good way), I didn't do anything particularly tiring today. I think just being out for a good few hours of REAL sunshine in england is like… a week of it, for the rest of the world.

We recorded a GREAT interview with Shadowsmyst, all about marketing and audiences for webcomics! Check it out on Tuesday. :]

Crazy day at work. Lots of special sales, customer appreciation weekend, raising money for homeless animals weekend, and easter bunny pictures.
Our district manager came to take the photos. Then she got called in to another store, and somehow I ended up taking them. : \ That could have been a disaster, but fortunately we only had a few people come in after she left.

I had a terrible day yesterday. I would like to talk about it, but it would take way too much space in the thread. Let us just say that a teacher that I have a 97 in her class found a way to flunk me in another class. (One that she normally wouldn't have any responsibility for grading me for). She flunked me for my week internship I did under her last week. So I will have to do it again sometime between the end of class and my 6th month internships. (Not the mention that I have my wedding and honeymoon during that time too.) So, yeah, I'm royally pissed at the moment. But, I'm not going down without a fight.

THIS GUY!!!
You see that's my issue. I have a terrible day and then I don't.

Had the show this weekend and it was great.

Made two new 'bands' in the show to.

One was: Three Guys Making Songs Off The Top Of Their Heads (PENIS)

And the other: Right of The Conchords: a Flight of the Conchords Tribute Band

Did you sing to The Most Beautiful Girl - in the room?

I'm currently using Flight of the Conchords as my personal happy medicine (along with other practices that should probably remain unmentioned).

I Seriously Love That Show!! They are so silly good whether ballads or rapping. Why oh why only 2 seasons? :(

Because they're lazy.

And yes. We did.

And because I don't feel like quoting him, no 72, we're less.

The joke behind the name:

And I sing Jemaine's part but play the main guitar which is weird but the other kid has a more Bret based voice.

hehehehe… soon I'll put out a virus that will infect the world. It will transform ordinary people into zombies… that dance! And perhaps if it infects that one special person it'll spawn on him a ragged red sports jacket, red pants and black shoes, and he will have the power to have all the "normal" zombies dance with him in sync! BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! I shall call it… the Thriller Virus!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!

uh, oh… those guys in the white suits found me again. Gotta run!

So I've been laid off, but maybe not.
Our store's being taken over by a franchisee as of May, but she wants to hire the existing employees, apparently. Just have to set up an interview with her and hope she's nice!
I'm actually very excited.

Nice to know the buyer is hiring the previous employees. You may still have a job, and the new owners save money on having to train new people. :)

Heh… Harvest Moon: Animal Parade. When I finally befriend the monkey enough I'll take it as a pet and rename it after one of our Admins. I'll probably get a horse first though since I can use it to move really fast around the town on clear days. And I still think the name "Ozoneocean" is appropriate for it (if it will fit in the naming space) since I'm pretty sure that's how fast and well horses move.

I'd go ahead and befriend the mama bear and her cub, but I keep hearing that games get worse with bears…

A girl who was on my cheer squad in high school killed herself last night. She planned it out, left a message saying good bye to her friends, and changed her bio on face book to "you can't put your arms around a memory."

This is the second death I've had occur in my life in the past two months.

Fuck.

Ugh…

My condolences, Dodger. No one should have to go through something like that. Something must've drove her into that path very hard, I bet…

wow… I can't tear myself away from listening to this music. It's from the very first Harvest Moon game I played, and I've heard nothing like it ever since. It makes me feel like I can live my life carefree and without worry in a quiet, peaceful farming village where I know everyone and everyone knows me and… well…

Slimfast for breakfast whatever for lunch and then slimfast for diner. Salad or fruit in between.
I actually feel like I'm cheating due to the slim fast.

That's pretty horrible

1.3 megs is a bit big for an irrelevant image. Try an 8 bit png or jpg instead? ;)

——-
I always think of Papua New Guinea when I read png because that's what everyone calls Papua New Guinea in the Australasia region including Papuans: "PNG"
BUT, most people I talk to say "ping" when talking about png files and not p-n-g at all.

…there, first one of the day to spout boring trivia! :)

Weight loss: Not sure what my weight is now, but my waist went from about 96cm to 84, which means about 1cm more and I'll have lost 5 inches :D

Also, I have to stop doing this thing where I start typing in a new post, forget about it, switch to another tab and then shut down the browser losing the entire post. Argh.
