That's some real intracate design on the woman's dress. It looks like you've changed the way you do your shading, the new page looks really lovely.

Monkey Shine is one awesome comic. Great art and an intriguing story. Talking cats, explosions, and large hammers – who could ask for more? This comic is just getting started and already the plot is in the thick of things. I liked it so much I "fav'd" it.

Oh, and my comic is Endstone. On today's update, a god is about to destroy the world. But that's par for the course.

Endstone has some terrific B&W lineart and its story just gets more intriguing with every page! In the latest instalment our heroine leaves behind a horde of rampaging orcs … but, bearing in mind where she seems to be going, that may not be a good thing!

****************************

Meanwhile in real-world UK, people seem to be realising that those MP chappies in Westminster are a bunch of crooks without morals or ethics. How'd that happen?!

By amazing coincidence, the action in our UK-based comic Shades is currently playing out across the rooftops of that very same Westminster, and two of our main villains are aiming to despatch the lovely Boudicca.

Well, at least our villains don't fund their villainy with tax-payers' money!

Posted at

Shades: If you're not reading this comic, you should be. This is one of my favourite comics of all time. The art got much better, the story has always been excellently paced and the dialogue is spot on. DAJB hooked me with this right from the start.

Also, I totally dig Boo. Nuff said.

The Chronicles of Wyrden updates today with the start of Chapter 5 and welcome to Wyrden City, a curious place indeed.

Fantastic splash page. I love the angle, and the period architecture is very nicely rendered. I get a real sense of "place" when looking at it. (And it's a great way to begin a chapter, with an arrival in the city.)

~~~~~~~~~~~~
I'm going away for the week, but I managed to do three things before leaving.
~Gelotology updated with a strip about crazy field biologists and their fascination with deadly animals.
~Used Books has filler. But I never do filler, so I hope it's more of a treat for my regular readers than a disappointment. (And the filler could be canonical and is a glimpse at the life of a now-dead character.)
~Page two of my just starting experimental project The Quiet Field is up now.
Posted at
The Quiet Field seems serene and beautiful so far - when you get back I can't wait to see more!
Used Books is nice–I've always said how I like your shadows and here it really helps the image - its like the subject is highlighted in the corner. Good work!
Gelotology has spiders! I looove spiders!
Lady Doom features a pretty important character returning to the forefront, in a very scary manner..
Crossing Death: Great art here (specially the coloring) and the writing is really good!!!
@Shaman Quest - this is one fully action packed comic. I've read it from the start up to the current page. Cool CGI.
Combatron [Space Warrior] has the cover page up for issue number 2
MAG-ISA - yeah Claudita is the underdog in this fight. I know thats cliche. :)
Sometimes you just have to strap on the robot power armour, load up the energy cannon in your arm and start kung fu fighting!
Its certainly I situation I've found myself in more then once!
WWE The Comic: Finlay jumps a death defying height to the floor to face off against his captor, the Boogeyman.
PSS: I needs sum help!
WWE: I like what you able to do within the limits of posing toys and taking pictures of them to create a comic. Picture could use a bit of contrast/brightness adjustment, but it isn't anything too distracting.
PSS: I left a long comment with my help on it already.
I like the movement and color selection on PYC. I'm not a big Pokemon fan, but this looks pretty cool to me.
Engine updates with page 140! Korsair strikes back……..for the moment.
For Engine: Some lovely action here, with great lineart and greyscale! There is weight behind the blows, and that is not something everyone can achieve, well done :)
Wolf updated yesterday with its 100th page, hurrah! Oh, and there's some blackmailing going on. :p
Posted at
The Wolf: I enjoy your style. I like how it's all done in pencil, but it looks nice! Not many comics, in my opinion, can pull that off. But you seem to do it quite well. Love the character designs by the way. Keep up the great work! :D
Ryu's Krew updates today with its 9th page! Ryu talks a little more about his past…only about one more page to go, and then I believe it's time for Draycho's past. At least, I think it is.
Posted at
Hmmm. Interesting black and white toning on Ryu's Krew.
In the Crossoverlord—well, when you have a comic called the CROSSOVERLORD, you have to expect the occasional cameo and crossover. This week we have a bunch, from Superdan from BAD GUY HIGH (and check out the picture of OUR group at BAD GUY HIGH—it's a work of art) to Ronson's Rubber Mallet from the Gods of Arr-Kaleen…
check it out at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverlord/index.php?p=561564.
She forgot that it's the rabbit's FOOT that's the good luck charm, perhaps? ^.^ Either way, seems she got her just desserts (even though she wasn't supposed to be fed).
Haha, I love the dirty way of looking at collaborations. I'm monogamously collaborated, I suppose. *halo* Very fun update - might benefit from some action lines or onomatopoeia in panel one, though. ^.^
But Not Really possibly teaches you would-be felons a handy trick.
But Not Really: I'm not usually a fan of photo comics but this one always has such killer (no pun intended) facial expressions and body language and I never fail to laugh when I read it. This week's is no exception!
Breaking the Ice #99 updates today with the finish to the current little four part story arc. Check the preceding ones to get the joke. Next week is #100 and I'm even going to run a little contest and give away a free BTI t-shirt! Huzzah!
