Both comics have a really interesting and well thought out use of figurines, and I was very impressed when I read the notes about adjusting expressions in photoshop, it's cleanly done and both were enjoyable to read. Keep it up! I'm going to keep an eye on you!

Panel three is clearly a chemical induced view on science.

I have a couple of updates.

In equivocate Jeff and co try and talk their way out of a Mexican stand off.

Also in Malefic there's dissension in the ranks.

@Malefic: Yeah that seems unfair, good facial expressions

Project GTH: Leah dies

GTH: Very strong, sad page.

In CROSSOVERKILL, Xmung from MAGELLAN finishes up his stint as artist as Captain Perfect gets the spoils of victory after talking down a fighting-mad Valkyrie! That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=816434! —Al

@Underbelly - ouch. ground and pound… Suggestion: I'd like it better if the punches were put in 1 panel like an anime or so.

Yeah, um… you're right. He does get invited to dance. Not much else though, well nothing else so it's hard to comment on. The art has a more sketchy look that usual. It's interesting to see changes as you style has been pretty fixed for some time now.

In Lite Bites Elektro Mr smiley comes to it's conclusion.

Its a little disturbing that something that's meant to constitute happiness can be construed as something so creepy. xD

@ BlkKnight: Oh wow, I'm amazed that that girl's "clothes" can stay on! But I suppose this is a fantasy comic, lol. ; P

The first panel looks very nice. : )

Not much of an update but it's a nice sketch.

In Malefic the conspirators are interrupted.

Whatsisname who predicted the end of the world would agree with that great line in the latest MALEFIC, "This apocalypse, Man. It's not all that it's cracked up to be."

In CROSSOVERKILL our group makes its exit from a near-Apocalypse, with art supplied by myself, at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=817761 . –Al

Crossoverkill: The sillyness is great here, as in a serious sort of situation, they still find time to make jokes. And how do they not know who Ringo is?! Even I do! This is a unique superhero comic-reading experience.

Really like the lettering and speech bubbles in Ryu's Crew. Also like the use of red with the otherwise black-ink-heavy look. And nice attack. Reminds me of a Gremlin when you get water on it–only with psychotic mini-clowns.

In Fusion, things are getting a bit more serious as some lethal defenses kick in. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Essay_Bee_Comics_Presents_Fusion/index.php?p=818465

For Fusion: Love the crisp lineart and vibrant yet consistent color palette you have going for the page. Also- expressions through masks like these are hard to effectively depict but you have managed! Kudos to you!

Brave Resistance updated yesterday with a page dedicated to Hunter's treatment.

The lighting makes it look like some kind of witchcraft is going on. Great page.

In Equivocate a meeting comes to an end.

Also in Malefic we get a bit of banter to relieve the tension.

Posted at

Nice positioning artwork in Equivocate, ditto in Malefic plus interesting group discussion.

In CROSSOVERKILL, the group meets Ringo, and Bob gets heard by someone OTHER than Fusion. That's at http://www.drunkduck.com/Crossoverkill/index.php?p=817775 with artwork by myself.—Al

@Crossoverkill: Good banter from such diverse characters. And of course I love Bob and Fusion.

Attack of the Robofemoids: the fourth wall comes tumbling down, I show up and there's donuts.

Mask of the Aryans: Elsa shows off some of the Parisan lingerie then she and Alaric discuss the war.

@Crossoverkill - Hehe, I love the background scenary. It's like the Yellow Submarine holes universe meets Asgard. xD I wonder how this'll turn out!

@Keeping Up with Thursday; 3rd to the 2nd of the last page of Issue 2, which I'm going out with a bang with. Svenn takes on Marie, who revealed a lot in the previous pages about the nature of the orphanage prison!

CROSSOVERKILL: Oooh, the giant face guy! :D (Ringo) looks really cool. Reminds me of a more modern Zordon from the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Really nice job on this page though, the word-bubbles and text all go very nicely, making it for a smooth reading experience. I also like the way all the characters are lined up in panel 4.

Ryu's Krew: Holy, holy that's some action! Intense panelling.

Keeping up with Thursday: "What are you Irish?" lol! Fantastic page.

@Attack of the Robofemoids: I feel so lucky to see that 4th wall (I love feeling like I know the "inside") — really funny!

@Mask of the Aryans: I liked the dialogue exchange almost as much as I like figuring out how you created the image. good stuff

So, possibly this is a cheat, but since I haven't updated in 3 weeks, just want everyone to know that there's finally a new page in A Cat’s Tale as of yesterday — where we see that there are definite benefits of being human over feline (as if anyone needs convincing :))

@A Cat's Tale: True, but owning 4 cats myself, I also know there're several benefits of being feline over human. Though I would rather be carried by someone's arm than by their teeth.

On All Saints, a full year has gone by (in the story, a week in real life) without a new outbreak of the virus, but the scientists remain ever vigilant. Also, a brief, if not rather chilling science/history lesson in the comment box to go along with the page.
