A logically flawed refutation of ozone's argument.

argh, Ronson! This is not debate! I believe both Ozone and myself were just jesting…. weren't we? ;)

Not when I was having super happy fun time. Food didn't matter so much. I got holocaust skinny because of it too. I'm eating like an ugly fat girl now though. Usually I go for pepperoni lovers pizzas or just fried chicken. I've also started eating sausage again. Eh, I don't care. Foods food.

Yeah, I love food. I'll eat almost anything. But I try not to eat too many snacks lately.

Kalamata olives! Cool! I had not expected them to be exported. Are they the lux ones? (the super big olives). I love those in sauces, even though I am not a fan of eating them as is. :)

I don't know about "lux", but yeah, they're always fairly large, big and sqidgey! Bigger than the other kinds of olives anyway…
They're delish ^_^
Other kinds of olives just don't do it for me…

Yeah, those be the 'lux' ones. *chuckles* In Greece, Kalamata olives come in about 3 varieties (small, large and lux). The lux ones are the ones to buy. Unless you actually go to Kalamata, whereupon any home made olive, in any size, is a definite keeper ;)

Sorry bout all the useless info hehe… just the overethusiastic gourmande in me talking.

This is a great topic, because not only am I an artist,I'm quite the cook. My specialties are oven roased cornish hens, stuffed with fresh rosemary, sage and garlic, garnished by potatoes, carrots and onions which are drizzled with olive oil to keep them moist. Then I make up a flavorfull roast pork, using the same herbs that I use for poultry. And here's a secret to really good oven roasted potatoes. Cut them into quarters, drench them with olive oil, sprinkle generously with salt, and mix the potatoes up with your hands. Wooden spoons just don't cut it because the oil doesn't get distributed well if you try it with spoons. Then you bake at 350 for about two hours, and voila, perfect roasted potatoes.

As a matter of fact, if you have a food you'd like to learn how to cook, let me know. I may be able to help you.

dude, all that food sounds so good right now! And i know people who do almost the same thing. They don't use carrots.

There's sortof a south western/mexican restaurant in my town called Sharkeys, and they make what they call pizza but the crust is all weird. But its so good!

And there is a Mexican place called Palapa's, and they make the best beef in town, but it's too greasy, and when i eat it i feel happy and sick at the same time. its weird.

Here's how the speed of me eating relates to my liking of food.

Hate it: Slow (duh)
Like it: Fast
Really like it: Slowest

I never know why.

I'm am SUCH a picky eater. During my holiday in August, the thing I ate the most was white rice. And nothing else.

Mmm…man, after reading this I could really go for some pepperoni pizza. Too bad it's 9 in the morning.

And, as far as spicy stuff is concerned (see? there's a link between those topics!), if I'm not almost crying from the spiciness…it needs to be spicier.

I'm the cook of the family, and boy do I love it. It makes me one hell of a room-mate, and what can I say, the ladies, they love my cooking.

Oui, moi petit friends, I am, LE CHEF! But you, you can call me… THE chef.

I'm the unofficial FSO (food safety officer, what a joke) for my corps. Every few months we take about 50-80 kids on different trips, and I've been in charge of cooking the meals for the past few years.
Being able to please a bunch of teenagers isn't always easy… But it's always interesting. I can say that I've cooked at sea aboard a naval vessel, in hip-deep snow on crown land… The list goes on.
My personal favorite was making sloppy joes for 200 people… 35lbs of ground beef. That's all I gotta say.

I ate a rose petal on a dare the other day, it astually didn't taste too bad

Posted at

I drank lavender rose tea drink once. It looked really nice on the menu but it tasted too sweet for me. The kind of sweet I don't like at least. :S

They actually put in tiny flower petals in it and when the ice melted, it tasted rather bad. :S

kallamatta olives

oh, barf. I like green spanish olives and the black mediterranean kind (I think they're just normal 'black olives' but fresh…) but not most of the other kinds. Something about them just makes me grimace and want to spit them out immediately. Kalamata olives are ones I remember as being particularly icky. :(

I enjoy food, probably too much. :) I badly need to go on a diet but… plain healthy foods are so boring. :( Plus I've only started cooking in the last year and most of the things I know how to make aren't necessarily too healthy… but all delicious! I need to think of ways to make 'chicken and vegetables' more interesting.

I like to be a little adventurous with food and I like some fancy things. Tom much prefers plain, simple food… which is good for when I don't feel like making much, but not nice when I feel like making something fancier, because he won't like it as much, so I feel bad making it. Also he never eats leftovers so it's difficult to make some things because there will be so much left over it won't get eaten, it seems a waste. You can't really make a quarter of a meat loaf. :/

The other night though I made these chicken enchiladas, they are so delicious. We ate all of them and then felt all gross and full afterward… but so yummy…

This year I am going to try to make a little chicken or turkey just for 2 people. Wish me luck!

What?????? Kallamatta are king! The rest are just pretend.

Speaking of food that's delicious but makes you feel sick and awful afterwards: Fish and chips!
Proper greasy fish and chips all wrapped up in butcher's paper, with salt and vinegar. MMMMMmmmmm! They're delightful, especially if you eat them on a warm evening at the beach just when the sun is going down, (I may do that in a couple of nights). But they make you feel nasty and greasy afterwards.

Haha, I was thinking about getting some fish and chips tonight while Tom is out at his Christmas dinner for work.

On the one hand, SO GOOD. On the other, SO BAD.

Maybe just some soup instead. :(

I *love* food - it's a wonder I stay so slim as generally if it's edible I'll eat it. ^^ And I hate wasting food so I almost always clear my plate - even if I'm not that fond of what I'm having.

I don't snack though~ which is perhaps why I keep slim… I keep myself to three meals a day and won't eat between those (only if I'm starving and then I'll have a small sandwich or a piece of cheese to kill the urge until my next meal). I don't even buy snack foods~ if they're not there I can't eat them. ^^;

…and so when I do eat snack foods they're even more tasty. :) Fish and chips feels like a sin to eat but are soooooo good when you haven't had any for months~
