Except I live on another continent and there's no virgin here on the market at all
(taken out of context someone would scratch their head over that sentence, :D )
Where the heck ARE ya, anyway?
He's in Poland I believe.

That doesn't matter, there are other good mobile providers there. :)

Poland indeed (unfortunately). I think we had some law against "foreign companies taking over our communication" or some such, so all the cellphone providers over here are either entirely "local" or perhaps co-owned by some foreign company (but never more than some %'s, I think one of the providers might be german in origin, not sure at all). I could be wrong though, shooting things out of memory.
So anyway, no Virgin or Vodafone and I don't think any of the providers offers iphones (haven't seen any anyway).

I was just woken up by a lawnmower, urgh. I hate these things. let's hope that at least I won't waste today like I did the last two days. Got to do something creative :P

Not that the comic is more important than what little family I have left…

or.
is.
it?

No, it's not. But I had to think really hard.

Currently my family consists out of my brother, the rest can go piss on their own beds. So yeah, for me? ART wins :D

(yep, I'm a little bitter about "family" since my mom's funeral. Everyone's approaching you, telling you how sorry they feel… and then telling you that they'll drop by soon to see how you're doing and then NOT FUCKING ONE PERSON showing up for the next four years… other than my brother who at that time lived five blocks away).

I pretty much need to be doing a page a day (or at least 3 every 5 days or somethin') from here on out to get finished in time- which is 10-12 hours of work a day. *sweat*
12 hours to ink a page? wow, that's a lot of precise work. My hand would fall off.

also, I'm too lazy to join these two posts. :P

So working out is going good so far, the only problem is my appetite has soared. I'm going to try doing HIIT workouts, i hear it has great results. I'm going to feel kinda embarrassed doing it since there's camera's all over the gym >.> Eh whatever

Ugh. I know exactly how that feeling is.
If that happens to me, I usually try to eat better (like fruit, tons of water, etc, etc)

High Intensity Workouts might be good, Mine aren't exactly high intensity, I'd say medium intensity. But nevertheless, good.

But yeah, I stayed up until about midnight or so last night because I couldn't sleep. At about 10 PM last night, I was trying to pencil Page 18, but couldn't get a pose right, and I just kinda gave up, and said, "I'll try tomorrow."

After that, I went and started scripting Part 3 of Chapter 2. I already had about 5 pages done, but I did a few more pages. Everything is coming together so well. I actually read through my comic so far. I actually like it. I would definitely read it if I didn't already make it.

Now, hopefully school won't be too tough this week, so I can get some penciling/scripting done. Usually I don't have enough energy :P

Plus, today's upper body day! :D

Went to the range today and learned the true definition of hot brass as a .40 shell casing got caught between my glasses and my face.

You OK?

I was baking a cake for a surprise party at the woman's shelter I volunteer at. I found out a bit too late that my dorm lacked pot holders or oven mitts. I took a deep breath and carried to the cake to the shelter using paper towels as hot pads. Thankfully, I didn't get burned but there was a sharp pain in my fingers for about half an hour.

Why didn't you use a towel or an old shirt? That's what I use when I'm handling hot oven things.

Had neither and we are not allowed to leave the kitchen unattended.

That makes sense.

Um. . . I should probably write something else so this post doesn't seem pointless. . .

Oh, I know. There's a rock opera version of Hamlet, which is weird. It's actually pretty good, although the lyrics sound a bit awkward sometimes.

lba- try incense? It worn't get rid of this stink, but it'll cover it… a bit. Plus, if he's not washing his stuff, try accelerating the process. Leave a bit of flour or something on his smelly jackets and see if you can get some mould growing. That might make him see a need for washing…

I've pretty much said the hell with it. I move out at the end of the week anyway. I'll try the incense though. I'd imagine it'll work if it's strong enough.

Lysol is your friend. I had a few roommates like that in my college days. (and after.) Lysol was my friend. I insisted on cleaning the bathroom just to keep it from getting gross. At one point I had five female housemates. Lysol was my friend.

And it helped that I could retaliate with my model building. Enamel paints, Tolulene based putty and the really strong Methyl Ethyl Ketone glue… I let them have a whiff of that and damn if their smelly laundry didn't all just disappear…

Something weird happened with Opera. It lost bookmars, open tabs and settings for the first time since I started using it in 2002. Now I'm mighty pissed and trying to figure out how old was my bookmarks backup. Oh, and trying to remember all the tabs that I had open :P

I feel like I'm overusing this thread, but I just got told that I have $780 worth of meals on my account with the school cafeteria that they won't refund me for and won't roll over to next year. The school year ends at the end of the week and the cafeteria closes this Friday. That means I have 156 meals on my account that I'll use maybe 20 of by the end of the week which leaves me with about $700 more or less being unwillingly donated to the school. That's enough for me to live for a month and half on.

Gettin' ready for my partner's MFA show tonight, which is inexplicably bein' held at… our f**king house.

So I've been scrubbin' floors and cleanin' like mad for two days. Because, ya know, it's at our f**king house, which is general in a state of disgusting disarray that I'm inclined to describe as a "gutterpunk squat meets frat house meets bizzare curio shop in which you're likely to find a cursed monkey's paw". So I've been angry and irritable and generally in a piss-poor mood, on account of I get that way when I can't draw. I can't wait 'til this mess is over with and I can get on with my life.

I abhor art openings; and since it's at our f**king house, it's not like I can escape. Usually I deal with this with a little help from my good friend Scotch, but I'm sure my partner's gonna be watchin' my booze consumption like a hawk. Plus I ain't got liquor store money. Gawd I hope he at least springs for beer. I can't do this crap sober.

On a related note: I probably oughta find a better way to deal with my problems than drinkin'. Just sayin'.

Same problem happens at my school. Fortunately our money can be spent at the school's convieniance store. Unfortunately, there is rarely anything in there this time of year cause everyone is trying to blow through their money. I'm going to die of thirst. All I got up here is water (which is fine but I like variety). My favorite drink is always out of stock now.

OMG we so did that shit one year! A buddy of mine had a $900 meal plan and only spent about $200 of it so for the last two weeks of school he bought all five of his friends three meals a day. I spent my remaining money on junk at convenience store.

*sigh* the worst thing happened to me the other day. I've gone and fallen head over heels in love >:[

I can't update my comic! I hate teenage love >_>

I wish I had that excuse not to work on my comic. >_>
Oh no you don't… It's changed me man… It's so infectous… I don't even recognize myself in the mirror anymore! I have these strange growths all over my face and arms now…

I have this annoying cough too. My voice is constricted by something I can't get out of my throat D:

I was going to try that, until I found out I can only swipe the card once per meal. D:

When I was in undergrad, I never had that kinda plan. But lots of folk I knew did- luckily one of the resturaunt type places you could buy your meals at also sold beer. And was open all night. At the end of the semester one year in painting, this freshman chick- who apparently was pretty rich; her parents had put like, a grand on that card thingy- would treat everybody who was up all night in the studio to food and beer. It was pretty sweet.
