I don't care about my job anymore.

I don't care if they lay me off tomorrow.

I feel like I'm just doing something pointless.

You know, I could easily impress the manager – because even if I'm not trying to, he still does get impressed and sees me as a smart, capable person who isn't too good at hiding his true capability. Sometimes he overestimates me.

Then there's this other guy who sort of sees me as competition. He's a smart guy. But compared to me, I am definitely smarter and more capable than he is (I know this sounds arrogant but this is the truth).

Since I don't care anymore, I don't bother trying to compete anymore. I'd just do my job and let him rise. I don't care anymore.

My dayjob sucks.

I wanna do something else that is related to helping raise the vibration on this planet.

I wanna do something else that is about helping my fellow human being.

I feel good whenever I succeed in unlocking a mind.

i ran the new standards, and passed, setting my own personal record for 500m swim, and a PAST record for the mile and a half run…pushups i'm still failing, and i noticed it was harder to do pullups…but i dont know why…i'm going to focus on those 2 areas tomorrow….

i should have taken a nap for lunch instead of eating…oh, and we're about to get beat down at work, since alot of people showed up late, without calling ahead…

I think with pushups and pullups it's my psychological than physical. You just think you're too weak or too tired to do more, but really you could probably double the performance.
I found that with pullups, when I lost the preconception I did double. With pushups I never had that problem to begin with- I'd just keep doing and doing them… So now when I do them I use a heavy pack on my back and limit the number instead.

So. This girl I used to like, right? She was my friend on Myspace. Well, just to be nice, I commented on one of her pictures saying, "Your gorgeous, very pretty eyes."

Which apparently AUTOMATICALLY makes me a creeper.
So I have to be an asshole to every new girl I meet? I'm thinking so.

So I just kinda deleted the girl, because she's definitely not worth it anyway.
Got better things to do.

Such as, write this script out.
Or work out.
Ch'yeah.

Some people react to that kind of flattery badly, especially when they don't expect it. That's all it is
The reverse situation happened to me, where I was rude to a female friend because of a compliment like that.

The reason people react that way, I'd say, is because they absolutely don't see the other person in "that way", so when it seems that the other person sees THEM in that way they find it shocking and hard to take… Like as if your sister or brother said you had sexy legs or something. :)

-because you see them in a sisterly or brotherly way and it seems like they're seeing you in a very different way. It's an automatic "ew" factor.

Thanks, man.
But to be honest, as much as I would love to believe that, I think it's just the girl is a…well…I won't say it.
Girls, especially around where I live, are all incredibly stuck-up. Something just isn't right about that. So I'm just going to stay away from her, because like I said, she's definitely not worth the trouble.
—————————————————-

I'm kinda sad now, to be honest.
An artist I used to look up to a lot (who happens to be a sonicfag), pretty much now only does Sonic stuff.
The only slightly original comic he did, he stopped doing. (But then again, not all that original. It dealt with treasure hunting)

I'm not going to mention any names. I'll let you all do that on your own. But his new concept deals with Sky pirates. Which makes me rage even more, because that's even less original. *coughskiesofarcadiacough* I think that was what the game was called….

But his style resembles Sonic way too much. And even after like, I don't know, 2 chapters of his "original" comic, he stopped drawing it in pencil. Which actually was really nice, to go for a more manga-esque style. Which turned out to be very boring, and ugly looking.

I told my friend about that, and she (not in a very nice way) told him to get an original style.

He pretty much refused, and said that he's not a real artist, and would much rather like to keep copying off of Sonic, and not bother to improve.

Now this is coming from a guy I used to look up to. He wanted to become professional, and it was incredibly inspiring for me.

I guess he gave up on that dream, and went back to just living a regular life. He'd much rather do what he's doing, keep copying a style, and ugh.

:(

I've met artists like that. In my opinion they either don't have much creativity, or they've drawn something so long they're afraid of what would happen if they tried to expand their horizons… or they're just lazy. Or drawing just isn't fun for them anymore.

YOU however seem to want to improve. I say just go for it. Eventually you'll have people looking up to you when your skills improve enough. You can tell them about the artist who refused to improve and how that gave you inspiration to move PAST him. It's not an easy road. Hours of hours of practicing at every opportunity, but you can do it. :)

Art petpeeves…It always makes me sad when i see some extremely talented artist when it comes to design and rendering, and they draw the same face and expression every time. I'm not even talking about anime being similar i mean the same slight mysterious smile, 3/4 view, heavily lash lidded eyes every. single. time.

There was also this guy on there that got pissed off that he couldn't post porn, seriously he was talking about the pic of naruto fucking sasuke in the ass as an 'artistic' piece, and threatening that 'if i gert banned again i'm moving to greener pastures….don't report me mmkay i have the same rights as other artists here to post my art T-T' Yeah the same rights that include no graphic anal penetration. He got banned and left some whiny post about how he was leaving anyways, guess DA will have to make due without his gallery of poorly constructed musclemen with huge bulges in their spandex.

USPA….i like it.
——–

weighted vest
i did that for a while, and at first it increased my pushups…but then they slowly started dropping…
it'd be easier to do them, if you were allowed to stretch an arm…but you can only rest in the up position…if a hand or foot is lifted, it's a failure. if you're not a plank, it's a failure.

i'm raging right now. first i found out i had to go to ALS. which is a re-blue school. meaning, i get to learn airforce propaganda all over again, for six weeks starting in august.
secondly, we were just told to "dumb it down". i work at a school house, that teaches everyone how to do their fucking job. and apparently we hold too high of standards…

People do that because they're usually not that great at other expressions and views, so they default to their standard one.

Many, many artists do that, not just with faces, without even knowing. But it's ok to have a "thing" you do well and can perfect: you can get amazingly good at just that one thing. I mean, he might just be stuck with that face, but he can make it the best version of that sort of face in the world if he keeps at it. :)

I just discovered this really amazing thing about my pet turtle – an electrical sensation coming from the turtle just happens. And then after approximately 5 seconds, its GUARANTEED to make a sudden move.

A sudden quick move. Like what is needed in order to make escaping from a jujitsu mount have more probability of success.

At first I thought it was just its heartbeat. Cuz you know, I had my eyes closed and what if its leg accidentally touched my hand and all I really felt was its pulse?

But then I put it flat on the ground, and my hand was only touching the top of its shell so I cannot accidentally touch its legs.

Same thing.

Electrical pulse. Then 5 seconds later it makes a quick dash as expected.

Nature is truly amazing.

I guess its true that animals communicate by ENERGY instead of using words like us humans do. No wonder they get all freaked out and act strange before an earthquake. No wonder there's no communication barrier between a German Shepherd and an Akita. Or even between species. Thats why you see dogs and cats being friends.

I guess the world would be a better place if all humans communicated through their minds. No more misunderstandings. No more getting mistaken for being rude when you don't really mean to be rude (what is rude in one culture is just fine or polite in another).

Kyu. you can transfer just as much info through speech and writing.
Sight and sound also involve energy transfer. ;)
-study simple physics
ie. vibrations in particles, waves (sound). Reflecting photons, receiving them, all that crap (sight). Even writing is a process of transferring energy and transforming that into the written words.

The problem isn't the medium, it's the lack of a common frame of reference.

Wow, I own a pet turtle too, but the only thing I think of when I look at it is what ingredients and seasoning I should add to the tank before I heat up the water…

Also got a job at a coffeeshop. Only part time but I can wear whatever I want! also play whatever music I want. So that ain't bad but I'm still lookin'.

HOLY!

I was unable to reach the site for few hours. When I finally managed to log in I decided to look if there were any members online.

There are over thousand people logged in. I've never seen so many before.

Most of them seem brand new. 0 - 2 posts each. Did Drunk Duck just do a major advertising campaign?

Congrats HH! :)

Look at how stupid this is… what would anyone DO that?
Well… I tried doing that tonight actually, in the dark, a little bit drunk.
First step I tried I missed it with my foot and went straight down. I just couldn't see the pole top properly in the dark. :(

Luckily I'm more agile than that plonker and twisted clear of the oncoming pole. Twisted so far the muscles under my ribs ache and will keep on doing so for days I predict. But I landed safely and avoided impact. Phew!

Then I jumped up and tried again and… I made it :)
Way too dark and dangerous to keep on doing it though. -_-

I am a hero!

… I am. :(

i lived in the country, there were 4 cities, the closest was 20 minute drive, at 70mph. we went there about once a week for groceries. it was going to town.
