Thanks Ironscarf :)

———————

I was gonna post my story in this 'artist for writer' thread, but i chickened out when i read the summary again. The script itself is decent with twists and turns, but It's a horror so haven't really been on top of doing it.

Then again i'm not familiar with the horror genre so it could very well be lame by those standards lol! I still think it's interesting though.

Shit i still have to finish that superhero comic AND two stylistic one page comics AND that manga one -_-

So tomorrow's the big day. My dad's surgery thing. I'm a little scared, but I know everything will be alright.

No, everything is not alright.
So, apparently, they found 5 major blockages. So now he needs to get bypass surgery done, and he'll be in the hospital for a week.
My mom is freaking out, and she's staying the night. And apparently she's ALSO taking the week off of work.

Which, you know, wouldn't be so bad.
But we're in a very tight financial situation. And I've offered to help out, but they're like, "MEH"

And then my mom was asking me if she thinks he should get the surgery done.

…rage.

so there i was…just sitting there, and the dude next to me starts fiddling, very violently for a plastic bag…next thing i know, the bag still in his pocket, he projectile vomits forward…and gets the bag out and open (still vomiting) then we hit some turbulence, so his vomit goes up, and splashed on his head…when it hit his head, it splattered in all directions…and nailed me. it was awesome…

also, i'm a represenitive of descendant command.

Urgh. One day. One day, I will get a job with normal hours and pay above minimum wage. I just have to keep telling myself that. It's what keeps me from deciding to give my boss the finger and walk out after spending 9+ hours in the company of people who think making crude sexual gestures at women as they walk away is the high point of social interaction. I'm normally a generally nice and decent person. Being around these people makes me feel like some sort of monster.

I just want a normal job doing something in my field. Or even getting a wage I could actually live on and have something to save at the end of the month would be enough.

Fun day at work. Stirred up a swarm of hornets in the gymnasium with my boss! They were living in a window and inbetween the wall to the outside. Took 'em a few mins to realize we destroyed their mud nest. I must've killed a dozen of em before sounding the tactical retreat.

is it wierd that i like sparring?

hmmm…anyways, i spent the night getting punched in the face. but i learned many valuable lessons about fighting. like the biggest guy in class, isn't necessarely the slowest. and the dude who does amature UFC, is actually in the league for a reason. and anyone who wears a black belt can kick me in the head 3 times, before i'm able to get a single block in.

Post. Script.

defeated my archnemisis the 4 mile run this morning. 33:33. slow you say, but my current single mile speed is 6:40

One of my high school friends was on the local news today. He was trying to break the world record for juggling 3 balls. He was going for 12 hours. I don't know how he did though.

Man, some weeks almost no news comes in between monday and thursday, and other weeks there is a ton. going to take me a little time to put these all together…

I really hate having dreams where I'm in an argument or trying to accomplish something impossible. It means I'm all grumpy and tired right from when I wake up. Just having a dream where I'm with someone I don't like makes me feel like I've actually had to deal with them and it just makes me mad at them all over again. So unfair. It also makes me wonder why I'm dreaming of people I'd be happy to never see again.

Also WTF is with my allergies? I've had them all 3 summers I've been here, and each year they just get worse and last longer. I want my allergy-free life back.

Two weeks later and still no update. Procrastination. Thinking about setting everything up is so much worse than actually doing it.

My Virginia trip was okay. Gave my memorial speech for my father in the church in his hometown. The new pastor is a Hispanic women with a thick accent. Considering how racist my father was it's very funny. God has the last laugh. She's trying to prove she exists again with all this ironic coincidence. How dare she.

Three carriers were in Norfolk and you could see them from the James River Bridge (over Willoughby bay, near Willoughby Spit the site of the settlement founded by my ancestor Captain Thomas Willoughby in 1612 which is on the cool map in the Jamestown Museum that shows all the English settlements. Considering how worthless my life is it's a consolation to point to an ancestor who did something worthwhile even if it was 400 years ago)

We saw the Jamestown Settlement. I last visited it in 2001 and they have added a lot! I took a ton of pictures of the reconstructed settlement to use as backgrounds in future installments of the comic I'm procrastinating about now. Strange how I'm always thinking about the damn thing even if I'm not actively working on it.

We also saw Fort Huger which was a Civil war earthen rampart fort with nicely preserved ramparts. :)

hmmm lately I've had some trouble sitting down and add more to my other comic's script… I've got most of the scenes planned out but I'm just never in the mood really to write it down…

But then again, I might suddenly wake up 3am in the morning and start writing…

This is ludicrous. No, this is insane.

I understand the economy is suffering globally, but when you cut down the packaging from a large box of nerds by nearly an entire ounce I've had enough. You can take my petrol, you can take my civil liberties, and you can even take my dog, but don't take my candy!

This is exactly how I am. There's a huge gulf between wanting to start and actually starting. I always put things off forever, which I know is stupid, because I never have a problem once I'm actually working on whatever it is. For whatever reason though it's always just so hard to start.

the dentist DESTROYED my mouth. My teeth are fine, but I can't smile or eat (good for dieting!) or talk louder than an uncharacteristic mutter without pain. I have a small mouth, and he pried it open too far is my guess (he must have torn the skin, cause I was bleeding there), and now the right corner of my mouth is various colors and gross… when I woke up this morning it was gooey and white…!!!

@Bravo and Skool

It's not a bad thing, i'm the opposite in the way i jump right into projects without any real plans, and then stop after 3 pages when i don't know where it's going. u.u

gooey and white…!!!
That's not good :$ Swelling and bleeding are kinda normal but thats a sign it could be infected, yu might want to see a(real) doctor then sit this one out.

Makes me feel lucky i found my dentist though, i've had my share of incompetent morons in that factor T_T

Ew…I went to the dentist today and it wasn't very pleasant for me either. The woman scaling my teeth was pretty much just stabbing randomly at my gums.
But then I got banana split fluoride and that made me feel better.
And no cavities! Woo!

Dentists are no fun. I always avoid them because they always tell me the same two things. 1: that my teeth look like I spent the majority of my youth getting punched in the face ( I did get hit a lot more than most, but that's not why my mouth is mess up. ) and 2: that I need to work harder at cleaning all the little spots that are hard to reach as a result of #1.

But there's not much that can make me feel down right now. I just got the call for the apartment I wanted. $415 a month for everything but electricity, a 20x25 studio apartment with a separate kitchen, appliances, and a separate bathroom and walk-in closet. It sounds too good to be true almost so I'm just waiting for the catch here, but I'm still elated to have a place to live that seems halfway decent for once. I don't even mind if they take forever to fix stuff for that price and size of a studio.

The dentist always just tells me to floss more. But I've never had a cavity, fillings, etc. So I just keep making do with brushing and listerine. The orange kind is best. :]

Apparently I have odd teeth as well…they're deeper than normal or something like that.
My least favourite part of visiting the dentist is when they're asking their little dentisty questions…"How often do you brush?" Erm uh twice a day. "How often do you floss?" Er…whenever I remember? "And how often is that?" NEVER, OKAY? I NEVER FLOSS!

I love going to the dentist. ^^

That man is in love with my teeth. They're movie star straight despite the fact that I never wore braces. Once, when I went there, he threw in free whitening treatment, just because.

So what do you do on a thursday night?

There was a time when my thursday would be jumping in the shower, throwing on some half coordinated clothes and heading downtown to meet my favourite female person of the opposite sex.
Tonight, my favourite female person of the opposite sex has gone downtown, while I shower two kids and mop up a sea of vomit.

Somewhere along the line, I obviously missed some small print.

female of the opposite…

.. how does that work?

But yeah. You missed the fine print there. They always get you with the fine print.

Well, she's female, and that's the opposite sex to me, which is roughly what I was looking for.

It works pretty well, thanks for asking!
