Oh, great… I'm so tempted…

Thank you, Sims 3. I may just try this. What am I going to do? Well…

Think of a Sims 3 town filled… with members from the Drunkduck Community. And imagine meeting them (if you're not playing AS THEM). An idea that's so evil it's criminal. I'm already pretty sure I know what traits I have to assign to various people here… (such as Kyupol being Insane, Inappropriate, a Bookworm, Easily Impressed and a Genius! Or Miss Pit Face as a Hotheaded Ambitious Daredevil who Loves the Great Outdoors and is probably Evil!). >:D

Of course I probably won't do that for a long time; too much work and effort to make a sim in the first place. Even if I did I wouldn't upload them to the Sims site; I need more interesting Sims to make the town more interesting. :)

I'm finally in a bike-friendly city, and I just got mine back on the road yesterday! I already went on a longish ride earlier, think I'll go this evening as well. God knows I need the excercise. To hell with driving, indefinitely. Anything under 7 miles is bike-able for me in my current, er, shape. Hopefully I'll get back into better bikin' shape soon, though. :)
]

Dude, I know. It's so god dang awesome. I've lost like 5 pounds since I moved to Milwaukee on Wednesday. Then I found out that I broke the axle on my rear rim. Since I got that fixed so it isn't rubbing on my bike frame I've probably lost significantly less because it's that much easier to pedal. That and I've been routinely skipping meals because I'm halfway across town and can't afford to eat out. When I do eat, I eat a lot less than I used to, now that I'm really truly paying for every meal myself instead of eating at the cafeteria. It's probably not the healthiest way to lose weight, but it is effective.

My rant is that it cost me $95 to replace that rear rim and I have no job. I desperately need that money. I probably could have saved about $30 by doing it myself, but I have no tools to do it with so I just forked over the money to have them do it. At least the guy at the bike shop understood my plight and set me up with a better rim and charged me as little as he could get away with. It sucks to be stuck 14 miles across town with your bike locked up and inoperable. At least now that it's fixed I can get around easier.

I'm also trying to look at the positive side of things more now. I know I have relatively dark sense of humor, so it sounds like I'm upset by things more than I am, but life is genuinely easier when I'm looking at the good stuff than the difficulties. I'm trying to catch myself before I say things negatively and try to put them in more of a positive way.

(I can't wait for some kind of image matching service)
http://tineye.com/
I know about tineye, but it only searches for filenames. It doesn't actually compare the images themselves (which I think would be awesome, and maybe possible in the future, with some really complicated algorithms or something). So it's useless if someone's changed the filename.

Yesterday was productive and I want today to be productive too! However I've already gotten up late so we'll see how THAT goes.

My partner's started playin' … frisbee golf. Which is some hippie bullshit if I ever saw it. He's in town for a week or so (bringin' a load of crap from NC), and wants to check out one of the courses here. Well, whatever. Except that he's convinced me (read: I'm capitulating in hopes of less nagging me for bein' an asshole) to play this morning. Uh, yeah. When's the last time I threw a frisbee? When I had that hippie ex that convinced me (read: well, you get the idea) to play ultimate frisbee.

Man, I just wanna ride my bike.

…reminds me of that Queen song :)
Yesterday was productive
I had this problem.Except my creative period only started at 12am. Then I had to go to bed around 3:30am… And then I stayed in be till 12pm because I kept having the most fantastic dreams. I'd wake up every hour or so, then go back to sleep and have another fantastic dream about something else, it was like tripping or something. BLISS!

Then I had to get out of bed because I was getting a headache from oversleep -_-

And no creative stuff all day. I'm finally updating the fan art page of my website and it's SOOOOOOOOOO hard! Mainly because my brain isn't working right for that sort of thinking… doing web pages the way I do means I have to have several trails of thought going at the same time. I can't manage more than one right now.
And then I had to spend forever looking for all the artists that had done the fanart so I can link to them. shizzzz!
Hynena was easy but others posed some problems.

I realize that some of my new favorite music is video game music. Especially Battletoads/Guilty Gear stuff.

Someday, I'll be able to play, "Holy Orders or just be dead". Which is an incredibly tough song.

Also, this "How to draw comics: the Marvel way" book seems like it's really going to help. I'm trying to draw some of the sketchy poses that they have in there, and so far, it's really helping. Let's hope this actually works out :P

Oh gods… after so very, very long I've finally updated the fan art page of my website. Doing stuff on my own website never used to be such a massive awful horrible time consuming job. What happened??? I mean, I work on websites every day as part of my job! 100% hand coding in notepad…
But for my own website I've got a nice setup in Dreamweaver and so I still use that, and yet it's harder?! WTF? o_O

Must be like how sketches in Photoshop still take me twice as long as those on a piece of paper. I FAIL at technology.

So I had two posts deleted with no explanation. As I don't know who deleted 'em or why , I have to take a wild guess and say it's because my lame attempts at humour weren't funny.

Ok, so I'm not funny I'll admit, but I'm not the only one: there are other unfunny people here posting not funny stuff all the freakin' time and their unfunny posts don't get deleted do they - actually, thinking about it, maybe they do, I wouldn't know, but that's not the point…

Delete a picture of a Massive Golf Sale, I have no issue with that, but when you delete the Embassy 2008 World Professional Ladies Darts Final?

I had to do a clean-out for an elderly couple with my grandmother, which meant 3 1/2 hours of work a piece… Then they complained that we didn't clean GOOD enough for 150 dollars. They literally wanted us to take out the window screens and clean all the cracks inside the window, as well as sweep and mop all the walls in the house.

My grandma threatened to punch the old guy in the face, so we left happily with our 150 bucks. =D

I do my best never to underestimate our female senior citizens. I remember reading a story where an 80 your old woman severely injured to teenage guys who tried to rob her house…

What's the difference between a shovel and a spade? I can't figure it out and it's driving me nuts.

Oh hey, there goes my sleeping pattern. So much for that whole pulling my life out of the shitter thing.

I always thought a spade was pointed at the end, and a shovel is flat.

But that might just be because of the way the words sound.

I hate the fast food soda dispensers because the soda never tastes the same as canned or bottled… You always get this watery-taste to your Coke… Just sickens me! Which is why I'm gunna start bringing my own damn soda from home!

And another thing – I think there's a secret conspiracy where they put 1 onion ring in your fries just so you can try it and buy onion rings in the future…

Commonly a spade is indeed pointed and a shovel has a squared off end.

Look at the suit of cards with the same name, note the shape of the symbol.

Shovels tend to be mainly for moving earth. Spades are adapted for breaking ground.

Then again they could just be different names for the same thing that people have artificially applied to the different kinds of the thing later on, like "crocodile" and "alligator" or "turtle" and "tortoise".

I'm starting back on my webcomic. I just wont' have as much time as I used to. Animation is going well, too.

Somehow, I think I may be a weight-losing genius.

Before, when I used to run, I wouldn't lose a pound, and I could never figure out why. I was like, "DUDE, WTF"

So when I hurt my ankle, and started walking a week ago, I notice I was losing weight.
I googled it, and apparently, walking is better for losing weight or something like that.
I lost like, 4 pounds yesterday.
And yes, I'm still eating. I even snacked at night.
I'm so confused.
You weren't eating enough of the right things when you were running. Your body was actually hanging on to all the calories, fats, and sugars you were ingesting. Believe it or not, when you run, you have to up your calorie count at first to lose weight.

Had a really heavy person in my academy who decided he was going to cut lunch in order to lose more weight. He actually gained 20 pounds until he started eating lunch again…and he lost weight FAST after that.

They are different. You miss-read this:
different names for the same thing that people have artificially applied to the different kinds of the thing later on.
i.e. "Crocodile" and "Alligator" were used interchangeably for all those crocadillan creatures once. Then it was decided that "Crocodile" would be used for some kinds of the creature and "Alligator' for others. The same story with Turtles and tortoises. so I've read. :)

—————–
Woot! almost a week later I got an answer back from my jacket makers…: be patient. oh gawd. T_T

Much cheaper than my stupid hussar jackets
:O that's not cheap at all!! I was gonna buy it on impulse the other day, but then my tail lights went out…and that's $250 (i can't remember if it's per brake light, or together) Stupid "luxury" cars. but i love it.

Big to small
Build furniture with boxes
I actually moved from my 200sqft dorm room, to my 1ksqft apartment when i got married. i had the problem of having too much space, and not needing anything because my wife was bringing it all. so i made a couch, and a TV stand outta the boxes…i used to have pictures…but they were on my first laptop…that crashed…
