Learning how to make websites from reading about it is pretty damn hard. The best way is to do it so you can see how things fit together and work. It's a lot easier to see what you're doing when you have a good WYSIWYG editor (what you see is what you get) to work with. The best one I think is Dreamweaver. That's expensive, but you can download a trial one from adobe. 'At a pinch though there's a free on that comes with the SeaMonkey web browser that's not too bad: http://www.seamonkey-project.org/

That way you can make changes too the code and easily preview it to see what it does, look at the coding of an already made website. Use the helpful editing tools to auto insert code that you need, the same way the BB code buttons in the forum insert tags and things.

so far my virus protection has found two viruses but has taken care of it, before I even noticed it… I guess that's a good thing :)

So I pulled two twelve hour shifts and ache all over my entire body, dizziness and exhaustion so bad I want to dissolve into tears. But prozac and lamictal don't allow tears.

Now I find out my supervisor isn't even trying to fill the one shift position because it's easier to work two suckers twelve hours a piece than three guys eight hours a piece? He keeps it up there'll be no one to work any hours at all.

But wait there is a bright side; keeping watch on the hooker traffic is entertaining (so long as I don't look any in the eyes; being empathic sucks that way) and I can do tons of graphic editing. I'm nearly done editing the panels for my guilty pleasure comic.

So soon… brahahahahahaha!

airsoft forums are filled with obama-hating red neck ignants.

funny thing though, since it's an airsoft forum, they're also really ignorant about firearms and base what they know via cod4 and other fps'es.

That's why you gotta find a decent group to play with. I used to play with a bunch of guys who were active service and that made it a lot better. I ended up quitting all the same because the rednecks moved in to the league.

yea, the forums cover the entire US, and luckily I live in california, so less chances of running into people who are like them.

and then i only attend the pistol shooting competition, so even less of a chance.

So, I guess, um. Yeah. I guess I'm hot?

I am desperately fighting the urge to say something creepy.

Hahahaha, do it!

Ok, what's this thing with canadian girls being perfect? :D

They are! I swear!
Well, the one I met was, anyway.
She just lived too far.

That was the whole problem.
Damn distance!

Which reminds me, I should try running today.
As long as I don't die.
Which I probably will.
Stupid ankle.

Also, Bocaj's picture is win.

4 mile run this morning….average time…AFTER the swim. which i realized i need to start working on, because that's how the test goes. swim then run. it's designed to make sure you can work thru being broken down.

i'm so close i'm excited.

also i'm moving. the guy who we rent from, doesnt own what we're renting. he was taking empty houses on his lots, and renting them out to random people, making 100% profit off of every renter.
*edit*
just found this to back it up.

So I took my first round of Fall classes today. They're pretty fun. Web design and some drawing courses. But I have to take a required math class. The thing is, I passed math (although barely) at my last school, but the credit didnt transfer.

I figured that I was going to save a ton on books since intro to web design is all out-of-book, and art I only needed to bring supplies which I (mostly) have. So big deal, thinkin' because math is required the book'll be something like 75 bucks.

Nope, 123.99 USED. New? 250 god damn bucks. This isnt even a thick book, in fact it's probably the thinest text book I've had in my two years of college.

I cant believe I just paid so much for that dinky piece of shit.

250 for a book… man, what are they, hand bound with golden threads or something? For 250$ I could almost pay two months rent here :P

- - - - -

YEAAAAAA!

After a week of my Ka-blam order (proof copy) sitting in the "order printing" state, it has finally changed to…

ORDER SHIPPED!

It should arrive within 6-10 days :D

You know, I've been told two years ago that Kyle Maynard, a wrestler with no limbs at all, lives right next door to my house (He's away at college now).

I didn't take it seriously until now, but I am now curious if it's actually true. I've never seen him other than meeting in school gym (Apparently he graduated from the school I attend).

The thought of him beating my ass terrifies me once in a while.

I hate showers. I hate that I have to have my hair fixed and be shaved for this bar job. I prefer being grungy.

And now I'm off to take that dread shower. It wouldn't be so bad if it didn't take me 20 minutes to untangle my damn hair. And another hour to dry and "fix it".

I just rode 14 miles on the bus with a bunch of nutcases to get my laptop fixed. Why? Because the damn screw that holds the screen on fell out and it was so small that the only place to get a new screw for it was in another town. The only other way to get a new one would have been to have HP ship it to me, for the price of $44 plus shipping and handling costs. So I said screw them, and chose to ride the bus. All for a 2.5mm x 5mm screw. At least the shop just gave it to me for free, when they saw how pathetically desperate I was to get the thing working again.

Okay, so apparently the old math textbook I lost (And paid for) during sophomore year started to turn up as unreturned during senior year. This problem did not turn up at all during Junior year and the school's telling me that I can't graduate until I either return it or pay for the book that no longer exists.

What's funny is that it gave me the same shit during the first week and I was behind on assignments because I couldn't get a book due to a missing book. I spoke with the person I was directed to and they got it cleared by next day.

…Which lasted until this week. My last class had some delays getting textbooks in and the same math textbook turned up as unreturned. Whoope-doo, I can't get the textbook. Fortunately, the teacher allowed me to use the textbook during the class and managed to finish the assignment before I went home. But regardless, that math textbook will NOT stop giving me shit.

I already lost quite a bit of money paying for that book and there's no fucking way I'm paying for it again. Why the hell is it turning up against me when it's been gone throughout the Junior year? I'm bringing in the copy of the check tomorrow to prove that the lost textbook's been paid for, but so far this issue's been giving me a very bad day.

Fucking machines.

pharmacist asked me if I'm over 12. lol!

I'm 25 years old. And I get mistaken for a younger person ALOT.

I guess I'll probably live long (natural life cycle and not cut short by some deadly disease or accident).

That reminds me, I think I'm going to get Swine Flu, and actually turn into a zombie.

They keep talking about it on the news and stuff.

But I think, if I can control it somehow, instead of eating brains, I'll just eat lots of Macaroni and Cheese. It's good. I think I could live off of that stuff. For serious.

Sooooo i had my first day of classes today.
-there was a cute girl in my Bio class :3 :3
-My com class is a sausage fest, a big beefy hairy sausage fest for sausages with hairy sausages.
-The teacher is very awesome though, she is my first Asian teacher ever. I don't know why but i expected my com teacher to have bad communication skills.

Also i made a post last semester about a gross hipster i saw on campus; he was in my class today. I instantly recognized that filthy pube neckbeard and multicolored 'ironic' nike high-tops anywhere :gem: The worst part was he was loudly complaining about how his GIRLFIREND(he said that like twice as loud) couldn't come to this class, and i'm thinking she's hideous/fat like him, but fucking noooooo i saw them in the midst's of PDA later and she's like an 8/10 with a perfect body and nice hair.
God i'm such a failure, a hipster with a vaguely homosexual lisp and pube crust chin that makes carrot top look clean is better than me.

Ah well on the plus side i can't see myself getting anything less than straight A's with these classes.

Hipster
Oh man, me and some friends have been making fun of hipsters so hard lately.
For example whenever we ask each other something like, "Hey, can I have a chip?" The other responds with, well, I dunno, giving chips to friends is kinda mainstream. Or "How many feet wide is that sheet of plywood" would be responded to by, "It's a pretty obscure number, you've probably never heard of it." Also, I was into everything before it was cool, by the way.
We have yet to get bored of this, it has been about a month…
Some Indie music is really good though, I must say.

Also, I've been messing around with the template for my shit comic Rape. It is getting amazing in my opinion…
