UGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH—-Why did i pick morning classes? Damn stupid brain; "o hey night classes r filled wit old people, so u should taek moring classes tof find hot babes!". Yeah right brain, even you know that science classes are eternal sausage fests and 90% of the girls on campus are going to be nurses.

*looks at how little time i have to get dressed now* baaaaaaaaaaaawwwwww.

If you're looking for "hot" women, come on down to where I live and visit the beach from late morning to late afternoon. Granted they're mostly Japanese, Korean, or Australian women, but they're pretty "hot" under our nice bright sunshine. %)
Or you can come to the coffeeshop where I work. Cute lesbians abound, man. Although they're more "alternative" lookin', and usually come in pairs.

Google images.

I watched House by the Cemetery. It was better than Reeker. Even the part where they cleaned up a huge pool of blood that was all over their floor without any comment whatsoever. Or the bit where they realised their son was missing and their entire effort to find him consisted of standing in one place and staring in one direction.

*crawls out from underneath a MOUND of paperwork*

Cash for Clunkers can kiss my ass. Seriously. Anyone in the states has probably heard of this, it's where the government is going to pay you $3500-$4500 for your piece of shit car that you've had for 15 years or so.

guess who got nominated to interpret the 75-page instruction manual on how to upload these damn clunkers into the government sites?

Btw, they ran the documentation through some tests. Apparently it's about 40% easier to perform open heart surgery than it is to get one of these things through correctly. ARGH…

In 35 days, we sold 102 clunker deals ALONE… at a dealership that typically sells no more than 50 or so vehicles a month.

oh look. the blue angels are in town….oh look, they're 100 yards off your back porch. full afterburner all the flippin time…oh look, we have to close down the roads that intersect the runway. so you have to drive 8 FLIPPING miles out of your way, just to get on base.

it wouldn't be too bad, if i had known. or if those weren't city miles, where there's a stop light every tenth of a mile.

on a cool related note. it's the first airshow i'll be going to here in a couple years.

the best part is, is going to the static of the plane i fly on. normally they'll have the pilots fielding the questions. I normally go up to the pilots who i dont know, and they don't know me. and asking THE questions. you know, the ones that aren't illegal to ask, but they're not allowed to answer/illegal to answer. HAHAHA. greatest part of knowing my job. they squirm so much…

I destroyed my ankle thing again.
And apparently, it's not actually my ankle.
Apparently it's like, my shin-bone thing.
I tried running, and it was good, I was sprinting, and was like, "AAAWW YEAAAH!"

Then about halfway, I turned around, and felt the pain, and I was like, "AAWWWW NOOO!"

i has a sad. :(

But I did get to go to the mall today, and have chicks check me out. I was like, 8D Aw yeah. That's right.

Also, have pictures of myself flexing in the photo threeeeaaaad.
More like progress pictures. It's like, before and after stuff.
And the before stuff…*shiver*…ew.

Now today is back and traps day. Hopefully my shin/ankle/lower leg area will not interfere with that.

And I want to draw, but that would require me to get up and that might be painful.
*facepalm*

Maybe you should wait for that injury to heal before trying anything to strenuous (spelling?). Better light low impact exercise that will give you time to heal than doing something crazy that will guarantee that you'll never run again for the rest of your life. :)

(exaggerating again, but it could happen)…

I'm thinking shin splints.

Because when I like, tried to see where the pain was (which I thought was my ankle) was actually in my shin area.

Urgh. Sometimes I wish I'd never given my mom my direct number. She decided to call today and give me some advice on finding a job. I've applied to every place within 5 miles that I can find that I'm qualified for, and a few that I'm not. But nobody seems interested in hiring right now. Or at least they're not willing to pay 7.50 when there's so many desperate people looking for jobs right now. I just wish she'd lay off it. The only thing I can think of to do is to just wait, hope someone calls me and spend the mean time trying as hard as I can to sell some artwork or get a few commissions.

On the plus side though, I did get my new air compressor that I ordered. Now I can airbrush wherever I can find an electrical outlet. It's already paying itself off by keeping me from having to buy cans of compressed air which cost about $12 a piece. I'd have probably gone through at least one already and I've only been painting for an hour and a half.

what i'm recommending from here, is that you stop running for a bit. pick up a jump rope. it'll strengthen the leg muscles. try to work up to 10 minutes a day. it's a lot harder than you think.

also, while sitting on the couch or something, put your foot on the ground, and lift the toes off the ground, so that only your heel is on the ground…it'll strengthen those front muscles.

if you ever got that gym membership, i'm sure they have a cardio section. do the eliptical. it'll take a couple times, but find the resistence, that makes your body feel the same as if you were running. or do the rowing machine. It's excellent cardio, with great strength training at the same time…speaking of which, i should start doing that again…

Remember, i'm no replacement for a doctor, and if the problem persists, you should go to a doctor.

or it all may be your shoes, but even if you switched shoes, you'd still want downtime

damnit i'm late.

I usually ask questions of the Special Ops guys (with the "black" helicopter) who obviously don't belong at the airshow.

Really cool that small local airports have been hosting lots of WW2 warbirds. Wall NJ had a B-24 and a B-17 as well as a rare P-51B razorback Mustang.

I recenty saw a T-6 Texan fly over my house that was modifed (for the movie Midway ) to look like a SBD Dauntless. That tricolor WW2 scheme and those oversize stars were cool to see first hand.

Procrastination. And I have to stop talking(typing) so much. Fingers on keyboard the foot goes into my mouth. Awkward at best. lol!

So I renewed a library book online in the morning, only to finish it that afternoon. But my trip to the library yielded a book I've been waiting for. The receipt was still in it from the last guy and he returned it two days early! Just for me. :) Thank you.

I think I also forgot to mention, I've been running in skateboard shoes. lol.
I can't afford anything better at the moment, so I guess I'll just walk, like I was :P

And I haven't gotten my Gym Membership yet. :(

A "Blow Job" is a shot consisting of coffee liqueur and amaretto, layered in a shot glass and topped with whipped cream. I was selling $4 blow jobs at work last night. There's pretty much no good way to answer "what are your specials" without feeling like a whore with that'n.

hmmm. i guess i shoulda just said "switch shoes". you can buy some at walmart for $20. get some inserts for 5. i normally go for the cheaper shoes anyways. even tho they break down faster. don't run in the broken down ones, they'll give you shin splints as well.

you should still follow the other advice too.

@bravo
everyone knows the correct answer to anything when you're not in your local area and beside a super awesome military plane that has secrets is "we just wanted an exscuse for the *local* per diem"
—————
@hyena
we were just talking about that this week. one of the guys came in, and was like "this weekend at the bar, i got a blowjob, and it was excellent" then we all high fived, and then he told us what was really going on, and he got made fun of.

i just found out that the TKD school i go to is not Kukkiwon certified. (kukkiwon is the international governing body of TKD) which means, i cannot participate in any National, or regional Air Force competitions. or other competitions for that matter.

After sending myself wire transfers from my UK account to my US account (to pay US-originating bills) for over 3 years, I've finally figured out that I could just get another paypal account and paypal it to myself. Wire transfers cost me £30 regardless of amount- paypal only takes 4% which means wires of £750 or less (I never send that much) save me money. :] And saves me a trip to the stupid banks which are always where there is no parking. Up yours, Lloyd's. T___T

…I had a strange dream/nightmare last night… I seriously had a dream that one of my female friends (was my girlfriend back in high school, but have long ago broken up but still keep in touch since she helps me with my Japanese when I need it) and I got married.

Oh, and it wasn't a normal "we got married" dream…no…there was no actual wedding, no party afterward, no nothing like that. No, it was something strange and then it was like, "Oh yay, we're finally married!" It was more like something out of the Chronicles of Pern…which is probably what lead me to have the dream in the sequence I did in the first place, seeing as I always read at least a chapter a night of the book I'm on.

I seriously woke up freaking out, looking around my bedroom and checking my hand a hundred times just to make sure it wasn't real. Freaking out isn't the word for it…it was more "crap myself terror".

Oh, and I only need one more voice actor to round out my roster. Just need a female. Waiting on one to get back to me with her retakes and additional line reads before I make my choice. I want to give someone besides Rina-Chan (Aka Kira Buckland…she's the one who did all the female voices for Castle Crashers if you've ever played it) a chance to get in on the project.

Some bitch makin' a left turn hit me on my bike. I had the right of way- I was going straight through on a green light. She scraped me up and bent up my front wheel pretty badly. Would have been nice if she'd stopped to see if I was okay. Would be even nicer if I could afford to get that wheel replaced. I hope I dented her hood when I punched it.

So I woke up in the middle of the night last night. Knowing that I usually can't fall back asleep for a while when that happens, I took my ipod touch out of its case(I have a loft bed so I keep it in a camera case tied to my bed at night to avoid it falling and breaking). I checked a couple things on it, my email and such, and then fell asleep again.
And then I woke up again…because I had rolled over onto my ipod. I turned it on again. It seemed to say the same time as the first time I turned it on(2:54 am), but I didn't think much of that. But when I unlocked it, the window with the sleep timer was still open…from when I went to sleep, hours ago.
So for a while I got very confused trying to figure out what happened there. And then for whatever reason I became very aware of a tiny nick on the side of my tongue, and couldn't fall asleep for a very long time.

…waking up in the middle of the night sucks.

Also, it took the allergy testing people two weeks to send me a letter telling me my appointment is in two months…..and then after that it'll probably take them another 2 months to tell me what the heck I'm allergic to.
So in the meantime, I'll just avoid every ingredient of everything I could possibly have eaten those days.

It turns out that the Navy is looking to hire illustrators and illustration students. I'm actually halfway considering it. It would mean quitting school though, which is kind of the problem. I have no issue with going into the military as active service, reserve or whatever, but I'm not sure I want to give up school with less than two years to go. Not to mention that I know practically nothing about the process of enlisting or what exactly the job is. I think I'd like to know more about what I'd have to do.

…I'm highly considering bringing back the old Ryu. The one that was in my older versions of Ryu's Krew.

Not for anything serious, just kind of as a break to Ryu's Krew. I realize that doing incredibly detailed stuff, and working on the same story for a while, can make you sick of comics, so I think if I do another one (I'm not working on any others at the moment), it'll kind of give me a "boost" or so to speak.

Plus, ever since I quit doing the Chaotic World one, I've been wanting to do another strip. I mean, the For Great Justice one I do is cool, don't get me wrong, but I have to wait until Trevor (co-writer/colorist) and I come up with an idea, then he has to color it, and not all my AMAZINGLY SUPER COOL IDEAS make it.

Plus, I could poke fun at Sonic-style fanart. Ironic. Because that's pretty much all the comic would be, you know, Sonic-style.

I'm totally doing it.
I hope you all don't hate me.
(Plus, it's only for fun :P)

I almost wonder about joining the army/navy too, not for a freaking physical job but a more technical thing. Then again i've never heard one person say they were having fun in the army/navy, it's usually 'boring' 'there's nothing to do' 'my bunk mate cut out a hole in the bottom of the mattress and uses it for sexual pleasure', etc.

This is another thing about 'realistic' action war movies that makes me wonder, usually the main character kills like 30-40 people, and has a record of killing even more. When most of the real ones say they only counted killing 13 people at the highest, usually around 3, if that.
I wonder how many people dad killed in nam…he never ever ever talks about it. He was a sergeant though and has a bunch of medals.

I have a lot of free time since i finished my game, so i guess i check out clubs this week. My mom's like; 'maybe you could join a club that carries clubs 0w0 …and clubs other clubs!' Swear to god….

NAVY

start here

The job is available to enlisted only, reserve or active.

I'm going to throw some pro's to put in your list about active, and reserve.
Montgomery G.I. Bill. (free education, up to $11k a semester in iowa)(normally used after you finish your enlistment)
100% tuition assistance (they'll pay for college classes, for 1 advancing degree ie: you have an A.S. they'll pay for classes for a Bachelors: unsure if that's the same for reserves)
Guarenteed pay check every 2 weeks (reserves get 1/30th pay for every day they work)
reserve you can still continue to go to college.

Now for the Con list.
You lose your right to freedom of speech, and assembly (you represent your country, and you're not allowed to talk bad about it, or anyone that works for it)
You're on call 24/7. always have to have you phone.
The idiocy that comes when not smart people make rank.

There may be other cons, but those are the ones that i find.

now, finding a recruiter shouldn't be hard. they're normally in the outlet malls. if they promise you something, make sure it's down in writing before you sign it. otherwise, it never happened. I'm not saying recruiters lie. they just like to augment the truth.

With your college (i think it's over 50 some credits) you get to come in with extra rank (e-3). I'm not sure about the navy, but in the air force, you can not come in enlisted with higher rank that e-3, if you're brand new.

any more questions i can answer in a PQ.

I'm starting to get sore from the bike crash, too. I hope I don't have to go to work covered in bruises! lol!
