Haha. I was in one of Oz's dreams once, apparently. That's what spending too much times in the forum does! ;)
Yep and yep. In the nude too ^^
But it was PG since you were changing into an attack pig costume and instructing some other DDers on how to wear there's.

…All so we could teach some Southern evangelist a lesson he'd never forget :gem:

Being roomies sounds like way less stress though.

Anyone got a reference pic of someone getting slapped? grr I can't do it without a ref, and the only ones I find online are the same stock photo over and over!
PLZ!

it can even be naughty- that might even help me get the pose better.

I had that trouble back when I needed that sort of image. The only solution was to get out the camera.

Posted at

I usually just google whatever I want to draw and look at the image results.

Like the time I drew a comic about oral sex… man, lots of painstaking research. That was agony. It took me HOURS of looking at images and videos to get it just right.

I'm thinking about doing a dada comic. Basically, all it will consist of is pages of the most popular comics on this site. That way, I'll be able to rack up page-views like crazy while everyone else does all the work. It's the perfect idea of a comic.

yeah… but it's 1 am, and all potential family members I can faux-slap are asleep…

There are plenty of bystanders on the street, slap one of them. As a bonus, they'll probably be drunk and won't remember being hit when they wake up.

Not really Dada though, is it? Stick a photoshop filter on them and turn them upside down.

Man, I'm turning 26 soon and all I can think about is what I have to do at work the next day and wondering if I was ever happy to begin with or if I've always just been faking it.

When did I grow up into this bitter old man?

I found a pic from an old movie with a cool slap that I used for this page…

I'll see if I can find the original for your review… took me forever to find one I liked.

The idea of fake slapping someone and taking a pic is probably a good idea ;)

So I refused to do the 12 hour shifts this past weekend. I actually feel like a human being today. However, my entire right arm, wrist(carpal tunnel) elbow (tendonitis and bad pulls on the bicep and tricep that never quite healed from 20 years ago)and my wretched shoulder. I need to get back to my therapy; model building and figure painting. Works great. But there's more photography to do.

And why am I typing? Worst thing.

Work was very interesting, all too interesting even though I didn't do the 12 hours shifts. More stuff happened than I normally get in the 12 hour shift. I mean a tenent left his door wide open, the tea kettle on and went across the street to pick up a hooker. So I get a call from his neighbor that some alarm is going off in his apartment. Now the night before on Eric's shift this tenent had a party with some druggies and whores and the police was called and someone arrested. Of course the guy who was arrested showed up the next day and the tenent escorted him out and told me he didn't want him let into the building ever again. Nothing happened in the building this weekend that this tenent wasn't in the middle of. lol!

And I watched him reading the guest log very carefully for 5 minutes. There isn't that much to read! Maybe he was memorizing the name of the cute girl who had signed in ten minutes before. If this guy even talks to her I'd probably call the Police, Swat team, Homeland Security and the Toxic Avenger (NJ's own super hero). He probably wants to get her addicted to drugs so he can add her to his bevy of hookers. Me and my overactive imagination.

Don't forget to put "She's got a hot ass" under each one. Dada must have "She's got a hot ass".

I imagine after a week of not drinking, your liver's still going to be all crouched and cowering with its arms over its head… then when the week's over it'll finally look up just to see if it's safe, and BAM!! Booze splashes it in the face.

That's how I picture it when I fall off the wagon anyway.

Try pickin' up some other drink like tea or milk. That helped me when I realized I was drinking way too much over the summer. It's still kind of the addiction, but at least it's something other than booze. I've heard it's also helpful to switch to a smaller size glass or bottle if you can. Instead of a throated pint glass, drink from one without the throat ( it's something like 2 oz less for each "pint". ) That way you drink less but aren't going cold turkey.

Turns out all my work wasn't actually due till Wendsday for school and I cranked it all out over the weekend. The only stuff that was due were things I couldn't read and work on since my books haven't come in yet. So, now I have two days before the critique that I might not have anything to do in, which I really hope is the case. I can use all the spare time I can find right now.

I'm overusing this thread of late.

Today started off really well. I got a lot done over the weekend and I was starting to relax, until I went home for dinner.

There's a kid who's just starting school, living on the floor above me. He's never been away from home and he's a bit scared and homesick. I'm the only person he knows so far in the area, so he comes down and talks to me while I work once in a while. So, this evening while one of my other neighbors was over to borrow a book, he came down looking for someone to talk to. This kid is a lot like me, he tells jokes to blow off steam and a lot of them are self-deprecating. He's not the most socially active person in the world either, so he takes a while to warm up to people. My other neighbor decided to diagnose him with self-esteem issues and social anxiety issues, when he started cracking jokes on himself with me, and started telling him how she knows exactly how to help him.

Now, maybe it's just me, and it's just because I spent half my teenage years being told I had issues and being made fun of, but it really makes my blood boil when someone tells another person that they have issues when they're either not qualified to make that judgment or they don't know the person that well. I don't know if I'm over-reacting, but it seems like the equivalent of walking up to someone and calling them retarded.

It makes me mad, and when I'm mad, I'll argue, snarl and generally find whatever irritates someone the most and just keep doing it. So not only did she kind of ruin my day, but she's probably ruined everyone who has to be around me's day too. I dunno, Am I over-reacting to what she said? I don't think I am, but I can never be sure.

I don't think you're overusing this thread. Not more than some anyway. :]

I agree that she is just making assumptions about someone she hardly knows. If that bothers you, why not remind her nicely that it's not polite (or necessarily wise) to do that kind of thing, especially to someone's face?

My uncle is one of those people that does the 'find what irritates people and keep doing it over and over and over' for his own amusement, that said; i hope you get hit by a freaking bus if you do it to people that don't deserve it :gem:

But i agree with skool that she was pretty rude, self-depreciating jokes do seem to be pretty closely knit with low self-esteem though(or at least someone that does it all the time might think pretty lowly of themselves) But sometimes laughing at yourself can feel pretty good and lighten an otherwise serious mood :)

Got my haircut, everything went well it looks much better. It'll be a long while before it grows out to the awesome length it was before, hopefully i'll have my career goals in order by then :$

I would like to see this, haircut.

I hate hotdogs. I've had a stomach ache all day because of them.
At least I got a nice lower body workout in today.
Now I'm in a good mood C:

Okay i don't know if it was something in the beef stew i just ate or what but i giggled for like half a minute x]
—————————————————–

Well speaking of overusing this thread i made a whiny rant a while back about my cousins/uncles being really worthless; i just now found out one of my worst cousins(he was always swindling people out of money, taking advantage of the family kindness, mooching, generally being a huge dick) died.

He's under age 30, so i'm guessing he overdosed on drugs or someone murdered him, they haven't done an autopsy yet. I feel bad for my great uncle and aunt as he owed them like 5,000$ :/ He also knocked up our friends daughter(like he met her 3 days before doing it) and we didn't hear one word from him til' she had an untimely miscarriage.

And i still haven't shaken the feeling that he was going to rob us when we first met. No cars were in the yard so he let himself in and started looking around, i was seriously about to lunge for the gun when i heard the noise(i had no clue who this guy was and mom hadn't seen him in 10 years, who the hell just comes in the house like that?)

Oh well i guess i'm a douche too for not caring about FAMIRY BLUD BONDZ like mom does.
