Once my Ma tried to call the state police on me because I didn't phone her. I don't know what she thought they were going to do, or if she legitimately thought I was dead, or what.

One of the jobs I've got involves putting a logo from a government department on something… But the DAMN conservatives have recently taken over and the wankers have changed all the damn logos from the current design to something trite and old fashioned. Get this: Two kangaroos on either side of a shield with a black sawn on it, and they're BOTH holding a boomerang in their forepaws!

It looks lamer than I can make it sound.
Anyway, it's fiddly and complicated and I need vector art of the bloody thing, so I raided their press releases and any other PDFs they have online… Turns out the lazy buggers haven't bothered to update the logos on most of them yet, and where they DO use the new one, it's a low-res bitmap. UGH! Bloody conservatives making my life difficult.
Hopefully they'll get rid of daylight savings time here though, I hate that more.
I'm so bored right now, gawd. I've been doing the same exact shit for the past week too; working at that site, working on my new comic plot, working on new pages of old comic, working on that shitty essay. And drinking pepsi.
As i type i am working on a comic page and thinking about drinking a pepsi while scribbling down ideas for my new comic while Gaaawwwwdddd :(
Oh well.
I'm not hugging her or buying her anything. I am cheap and I dont like touching family members. It weirds me the fuck out. Screw it, I'm just staying in my room nice and safe with a 40oz of beer. Honestly I wish she were like everyone else and just didnt give a shit about me, my life, or my safety. Would really help me sleep better at night. :/
I know they wrote seasons 2+3 during the writers strike but fuckin' god they better make season 4 excuse worthy good. Also lol mohinder being the fly
They did not write three during the strike. They outlined portions of what would have been three, and dropped it, moving to what was to be four (now three). It sucks because the process is as such:
One group gets a character to handle, this character rotates between groups until the season is finished. Each plot is merged and then "cleaned up" by one last writer who tries to tie everything together. It's a stupid stupid stupid way to write.

I know how you feel.
It's like, you start doing something that's fun (or somewhat fun) and somewhat interesting, and you start doing it so much, like everyday, it just gets…boring. That happens to me a lot, nevertheless.
I think that could be why I'm not drawing a page per day. I don't think it's because I'm lazy, I'm just scared that I won't be into drawing anymore. And then I'll quit, like I always do. So I guess I'm trying to pace myself so drawing can still be fun to me. Which I'm hoping to God it still will be. Otherwise, what else will I have? Just going to the gym and working out? I can't work out constantly.
I hate air conditioning. I really do. -_-
I don't like melting from heat, but I'd rather use a fan and be uncomfortable than artificially frozen in a stuffy office… Plus, it's a massive waste of power!
i'm american, i know by instinct what it's like to waste power…

i really really have nothing to complain about. life is peachy. except the only free gym i have has closed their pool and indoor track. so the two main things in my work out are gone, and that just gives me no motivation to do it…

Uh yeah sorry that was me.
So I am trying to make this action/fantasty comic. So far it all looks pretty good, but I am hitting one problem. The main group of heroes needs to do battle with the main group of villains, that much is clear. But I cant think of a way for them to fight without it drawing attention to everyone else in the real world. There only needs to be three of them that are confronted this way, after which everyone starts to catch on and the battle becomes more public, until it overflows and leaves everything in ruins.
This has prevented me from making this comic for a few months now. And I've only come up with a few ideas to fix the problem, but none of them really work, or make sense or fit the tone of the story.

Hard to tell if this is real or not… but I'm glad you are working on a different comic idea. I say have them fight in a one of the storage units but one of the premium ones that you can fit a boat and 2 cars in…
or maybe at the south pole. There there would be only penguins as collateral damage.

They're usually uneventful, but this time I got stopped by the police. She wanted to know my name, fair enough. But then she asked me for my address, my phone number, what course I doing at uni, my rank and serial number, what I had for breakfast, etc. What the hell? Since when was walking a criminal offence? Ok so it's slightly unusual for me to be walking around at four in the morning but it's not that suspicious, is it?
