You perv. :P

My monocle came today. So now I have on my spats and one of my top hats. I like the look. :)
You know, there's a special knack to wearing a monocle. It's not that easy.

Do you know how rare it is to get a model who isn't a creepy old man/lady? I want to enjoy his presence while I can.

Ozone is clearly building his wardrobe for his new career- con man.

My chinese class got cancelled today because the teacher is sick. That's the 4th one so far since since september, last year there were none. Half of me hopes my teacher is okay, the other half hopes I get some money back. T_T

bahhhhhh
I made a setting change to comic #3, and then all the sudden i get a great extension to the main idea, but the problem now is;
1.this comic is going to go on waaay longer then i planned
2. it's gotten really complicated now and i'm not sure i can handle it well. Even good writers have trouble plotting time travel -.-

I don't want to lose the new idea since it's much cooler than what i had before, bah why can't i focus this energy into schoolwork or something i'd be a damn genius or be getting laid by now :[

On a funnier note i must have spent 2 hours thinking/making that purple logo for the third comic, only to change it to a plain font with a black stroke lol. It looks cool though.

Okay, so I basically realize that there's like, 4 parts of my life.

1.) Comic
2.) Working out/health
3.) Girls
4.) School

If one of those goes, then I'm a little down. As of Tuesday, that would be number 1! D:

I was doing so well with working on the comic. I took a two-day-break. So I'm hoping I can get back into it today.

Also, going to grow my hair back out, to where it was before. Short hair is nice, just not for me.

(2, 3, and 4 are going good though, btw)

I was thinking Diplomat or groomsman at a wedding. Time for the striped trousers, ascot and cut away coat. I dressed that way for my wedding than my best man used the same look for his wedding. The pictures of the wedding party look like a gathering of the British Foreign Office in 1920 or a Neville Chamberlain look-a-like contest. (yes someone did have a monocle and the groom had a tophat and we all waved pieces of paper over our head for Peace in our time)

So they have me filling in for the full timer on my midnight shift, so I haven't even looked at doing any more pictures for the comic. Grumble. And I keep misplacing props.

Gosh, I'm amazed that the history teachers ever got to WWI and WWII. USII history classes often only get to the Depression. The Eastern civilizations are often dumped because the 6th then 9th Grade world Civ curricula just doesn't have the time to fit it in.

Which is rather funny considering we usually don't even talk about JFK. The only references to the British kicking anyone's ass on the North American continent are related to them beating the crap out of Native Americans or Canadians, and even then they usually act like it was Americans who did that and that those particular Brits were just American Patriot Beta Version.

The US in my experience tends to focus heavily on it's Civil War and the two world wars. Mostly because the Civil war was kind of a major turning point for us, and a lot of people like to think about how the US "saved" Europe's ass twice. We learn a bit on ancient cultures like the Mesopotamians and Egyptians, but rarely ever even seem to touch on the eastern cultures. Apparently, nothing of import has happened in the last 60 or so years since world war 2 though.

dont forget that when we learn about the war of 1812, they only tell us about 1814.

"world history" was a required subject in 10th grade, but it's a full school year of the beginning of written history, to 199something.

and my u.s. history teacher was a real conspiracy theorist, not quite like kyupol, but we spent a bit of time on JFK. he also had these good books on almost every president. i wish i could go back and read the rest.

High hats and Arrow collars, White spats and lots of dollars?
Different types who wear a daycoat, pants with stripes and cutaway coat. Perfect fits.

That's style. That's puttin' on the R… :)

When I was little, Fred Astair was one of my heroes. I prefer a tail coat to a cutaway though. Now if I could only tap dance…
Actually he's STILL my hero. That guy was awesome@

I'm tired of all these invitations for Honor's societies. "You have been invited! Give us 68 dollars! This is an honor!" -.- I'm past the time where honors societies are impressive. And I'm already in two. Wish there was a "leave me the f alone" list for these things. They clog the inbox.

Ah…Putting on the Ritz…one of my boyfriend's teachers was raving at his class for not knowing that song. "Haven't you ever heard of Young Frankenstien? It is in the Top 50 Comedies of all time!" The class hadn't. The teacher brought it to class and made them watch the Putting on the Ritz scene 10 times.

My computer is making obnoxiously loud humming noise whenever I put a CD in. Maybe it's my fan? I should really check on that but I can't be arsed. Mostly because i'm knackered after falling asleep stupidly early yesterday, but I can't go to sleep now because I need to re doodadinate my sleeping majig. And clean my bed, which is currently a repository for empty boxes and iron brew bottles.

1.) Comic
2.) Working out/health
3.) Girls
4.) School

Wow. That is the exact opposite of my life.

I have a 7 paragraph essay tomorrow. I usually write about just under a page a paragraph, so I have to write approximately 6 pages of writing, for tomorrow.
I've already missed the deadline, so I can't weasel my way out of it…
I even told my teachers I've finished it…

And to top it off, I get home and feel too damn lazy to write it.
This is just great! D:

I know the feeling. I got a 300 word mini-essay due in 4 hours, but I have class for the next 2 hours.

Yep. Personally I stay away from time travel and I saw it done properly perhaps two or three times. There are always some gaps in the story due to time travel.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Thinking of buying an A3 scanner. I saw some cheap Mustek scanners (below 100$ for a slightly used one, around 200-250$ for a new one with warranty) and since I'll be drawing "the Djinn Project" (working title) on A3 paper, it would certainly help me save time on scanning and editing. I'd still need to join the double spreads, but it's much faster to slap two separate scans together than to toil with six (three per page, since to join the middle properly I'd need to scan itas a separate piece and blend it in, otherwise it'll look ugly).

There's just one problem. I ahve no money on a scanner yet. So I guess I'll finalize the first book and then hopefully sell enough copies to buy a new scanner (if I manage to push 20 or so, it'd get me close enough to pull out the rest from my pocket).

But I could use a proper drawing table too, that's like another 150$ :P

On the other hand both scanner and table would be a one-time investment that I'd probably benefit from greatly (saved time on scanning, seeing the entire page at a better angle so that I can keep the proportions and all, etc), so yeah… time to start saving money.

Today is my birthday, and I am officially no longer in my "mid-20's". Scary!

In New Orleans, there's a tradition in bar culture that you go out pub crawlin' with a dollar pinned to your shirt. As you go through the night, folks pin money to ya as kind of a "I'm a drunk and forgot your birthday, so, uh…here!" kinda way. Which is what I'm doin' tonight. I don't think I'll break my record of $80, though. The economy being as it is, and also that "no longer in my mid-20's" thing. ;)

I played through that game time hollow, it was really lame i was expecting way better. the main character and the villian are complete twits, and the story could have gone deeper but instead stayed on a superficial level. I only finished it to see how it handled time travel, i'll take it as an example of what not to do -_-

Star ocean 4 is comming out-i'm thinking about renting an xbox for that one, might as well i am a fan of the games.

I meant more in the time-travelling con man sense. Imagine it- a con where you convince someone you're from a different time… wearing your hussar costume, or your chinese fighter pilot outfit, or your gentleman's duds! Or all three! And then you sell them the time travel machine…

Yessss, finished the essay. I could've done better, had I not being rushing it, but eh. Two pages, and 1,234 words seems like enough to me…(Seriously, I didn't edit any words just so I got that many words, I was like ":D")

I need a deathnote…
my reasons
1.Jin the annoying teachers pet in my math and french classes
2.The boys in my french class who tease my friend cassidy and throw things at her for being just a bit chubby (poor girl i'd make thier deaths extremely painful)
3.Light for killing L (L=Love!)
4.Richard for being a great flirt then crushing my heart with a tank (i wouldn't make it painful…maybe)
5.the idiots in my art class
6.this girl from my old school that i really hate

in other words the main reason i want a death note: revenge! i needs it! ok i think i'm done ranting on about how my life sucks and yadda

I always had a feeling that deathnote got popular because 14-15 year old kids fantasized about solving their problems with it. It's pretty sad that they want a deathnote just to kill some big meanie classmates rather than too help the world by killing criminals and corrupt officials.

Hmm i didn't think about killing even once when i was younger, i just wanted to make people laugh and play my ps2 and have a cat castle. I got violent thoughts of revenge when i was 16 i guess, looking back on it now the people causing my problems weren't even worth them. Oh well it's because of them i learned to not let my past rule me.

You know what will magically fix all those problems? Apathy. Also, graduation.

The further you go into high school, the more you encounter the magical time when all the insecure middle school bullshit starts to taper off. After that, you get to do your own thing and peaceably ignore the new high school bullshit.

And when you graduate, it takes a crazy-short time until all the things you hate so much now are like weirdly distant memories.

If you're seriously that hostile, though, you should try learning the fine art of insulting people in return when they give you shit. Double points for making their own friends laugh at them!

Hmm… Hmm… That could work. It'll be an enless cycle: me selling timemachines to buy more outfits.
Next stop- Mongol Warrior!
Actually, that sounds litke a good storyline for a gag comic ^____^
Or, he could find a time machine and do this. Wish I had the whole clip. T_T
Yeah! I could do that! What out ladies of the past, I'm coming for ya! :)
