I am very self-aware of how cute this all is/was. First relationship, first kiss. It is all a little late for my age (I'm in 11th grade), but it just makes me more aware of all of the cuteness. The tickling; the snuggling; the little beanie baby bear I gave her (it's her favorite animal).

Yeah… <3

That's hardly late in life dude. I had a pretty similar experience so don't worry about it. I didn't catch on until we spent a night cuddling under a blanket in the back of the car, looking at stars. And even then it took me another week to realize it and get up the courage to ask if we were a couple. Don't worry about it and just go with it if she's willing to initiate things till you're comfortable.

Speaking of nutjobs with weapons, I just had some crazy pull some glinty thing on me on my way home from the school ( All of 3 blocks away. ). I don't know if it was a gun, knife or beer can because of the weird way he was holding it, but he walked up to me out of an alleyway and asked if I had any money in that creepy, "I might decide to stab you for fun" kind of way. I just turned around and headed back to the school watching backwards across the street instead of talking or trying to get past him.

This is supposed to be one of the cleanest safest parts of town and I carry a knife at all times, but I don't feel like adding "gunshot wound" to my current list of medical problems. It's long enough as it is.
No, I wasn't complaining! And I realize it isn't that late in life.

Also, yeah, the knife/weapon/thing, wow. I've went through similar, but more indirect stuff, a little shaking. That's great that nothing bad came of it, though.

Dyanu.

yeah man, there's a lot of creeps out there. think ya made a good choice to just get outa there though. glad it ended allright for ya.

a few sommers ago i went to the waterpark a few blocks away and got lost for aobut 2 hours trying to find my way out and the sun was starting to go down. man, it was like the twilight zone. well this little mexican guy started following me around asking me all these questions like what my name was and where i worked and i'm like "sorry man i'm not okay with telling you those things." man, i couldnt find my way outa this place, they was barely anyone else around, so i was stuck in this place with that dude that just kept on poping up.

finally, i find my way out and i thought i was allright. well i just happened to be walking past this huge graveyard i have to pass on the way to my house when all of a sudden, that dude comes down the street ehind me on his bicylce. i'm like "fuck this!" and ran into the graveyard cuase you know, it's one of thse old rickety bumpy ones and he wouldnt be able to follow me on his bike and as i'm crossing the street to it i hear him go "CAN I COME WITH YOU? CAN I COME WITH YOU?"
haha, man i went into Rambo mode. i'm like hidin and running around and shit. haha, there's actually this school right by the graveyard, like literally, it's the schools backyard.there isnt even a fence. i ran through the play area and grabed a busted piece of cinder block and sharpened it on the wall and shit.haha! nothing more ever happened but man, it freaked me the fuck out!

this was a pretty quiet town too, i mean there's a lot of kids that cuase trouble cuase there's not much for em to do. but lately there's been a few murders and a girl got raped in a laundry mat in broad daylight and the police didnt alert the public. you gotta be smart when you go places, stay alert especially at night, get some pepper spray and switch up your routes if you can. i fuckin hate perverts.

whenever a rape occurs here there's notices and text messages sent out allover school, then on the local news they show him when he's captured. They usually report the hispanic ones and play up the illegal immigrants status, i'm not sure if that's to make us more hating of illegal immigrants or they really are the ones doing the rapes.
The worst rape we ever had was at my school were these three guys tied up some girl under the benches and had their way with her, one of the guys was from a reformation school for boys charged with sexual abuse. Why the fuck do they let those kids into public schools? :gem:

My brother has decided to start faking Asperger's. Either that, or the laws of the universe have been completely rewritten.

Now he says that he has panic attacks whenever he goes outside, so apparently severe trauma can develop in a few days.

It also turns out his psychologist told him that he could leave his work if he didn't feel he could do it, so it's also possible for a straight A student to suddenly become functionally retarded.

It really depresses me to see this. He was doing so well, and now he's throwing his entire fucking future out of the window so he can sit around and play computer games.

I'm going home in a week, hopefully I'll be able to talk/beat some sense into him. He's driving mum insane with all his bullshit.

So, I just went to the grocery store. There was some old guy there, and he was swearing, he sounded like he had some sort of lisp too. He had blonde hair, so he wasn't too old, but he said something along the lines of…
"Dip my drippy dick, f**k!"
Not sure why.

And he saw this woman staring at him, and proceeded to say, "I should beat the s**t out of you!"
I turned around, and immediately started laughing. I thought it was hilarious.
It was hilarious, also a little scary. The guy was practically yelling that.

Also went to the comic book store :)
Ryu also has gotten some Mountain Dew.
And I figured out I don't want to do all of the pencils first. I used to do that, and I really hate it. Because I'll get sick of doing pencils, and I'll have to ink, ink, ink. I'd much rather pencil, then ink, at a time. Maybe in short batches.

Hey, it happened to me. ;)

Another reason I think (most) shrinks are bunk: they enable people to wallow in their own self-created "problems" by convincing them that it's okay to be non-functional so long as you got a permission slip from somebody with a PhD. But hey, as long as you stay "sick", they still get their $100 per session or whatever it is.

i went out looking for a new car today. (not brand new just new) i've come away being annoyed that nobody sells manuals anymore, nad the ones they do have are crap cars. it kind of depressed me, because i just couldnt find anything. and now i'm just going to be all sad cause i cant get a newer car.

also, my dog has gone phsyco. she used to be well behaved so we let her wander the house while we were gone. then she started chewing on toilet paper rolls, so we just let her wander the living room. when i came back today, she had jumped up on hte table, and chewed up everything that was sitting up there. (napkins, napkin holder, bills, a couple pencils)
we're gonna have to start locking her up in her cage again….

Sounds kinda like classic dog being bored and frustrated behavior, spring is here and huskies are smart and active dogs. That's what dogs do when they're left alone and have too much energy- wreck stuff and chew/shred things. And crating should be for the dog's own security and sense of ownership, not a place to lock them up because you don't want them out. :[ So I hope you don't do that.

Yep - trouble is you can't tell who's really sick and who only thinks they're sick and maybe the people who get into this cycle end up being sicker than they started out.

I know someone who was supposed to be faking it so they didn't have to work - even got signed off as healthy. Then they killed somebody.

Yeah, it's the whole Catch-22 thing, right?

One of my beefs with the "mental health industry" (and I know I've gone off about this kinda thing before) is that it seems like too many doctors these days are willing to write scripts or make diagnoses for people with mild, normal "life is stressing me out" issues. Like everyone who is sad or can't focus or gets nervous occasionally has some deep-rooted "illness". And then folks use that to avoid taking responsibility for their actions. Like, every other person I know under the age of 25 has "ADD". WTF?

On the other hand, it's way too easy to manipulate these doctors, too. If you're sent in for a problem and don't want to be treated, it's easy to figure out the things to say and not to say in order to get the "healthy" pass. I know because I've done this a bajillion times. Yeah, just take the sociopath's word for it, Doc. It's not in his nature to, you know, lie or anything. Sheesh.

prolly, but i try to get her outside as much as i can. but i always have to be out there with her. she's better at escaping than houdini. i also take her for runs….but i suspect that's only giving her more energy in the long run.

sigh. this car shopping is making me depressed. with all these high intrest rates, i'd be making the same payments on a cheaper car, than i was on the other car. it's got me down. i guess the bad economy has finally caught up with me. and it makes me sad. really in the dumps because, all these cars taht were within my reach a short while ago, and that i had planned on getting, are now out of my reach.

Oh, I hate that! After 2 or 3 times I usually just pretend I understand what they've said because it gets embarassing.

Had a really nice day today. Went out to a comic book store and Starbucks with my dad in the morning. It was 5 degrees C so in the afternoon my best friend and I took a nice long walk to a little park by an old abandoned bridge and sat by the river. I like that spot. It was really wet though, so I had to put down my jacket for us to sit on and not only did it get really muddy but the water went through and our bums got wet. Oh well, water is better than ice. And then in the evening I read the graphic novel that I had bought earlier.

Oh, but I do have a rant. My mom is making me see Twilight with her tomorrow. That's terrible.

Oh God no! Anything but the sparkly vampires!
D8

Legacy of Kain, now THAT has some real vampires.
Underworld is pretty good too, even though it's a movie.
Blade too.

But Twilight?
The chick that wrote the book must be on some kind of drugs.

I wound myself up in a fight today. One of the freshman was having a crappy day and got pissed and threatened me when I told him to calm down and relax. I don't take well to threats of any sort, and told him not to do so with a rather emphatic pointing gesture ( Not the middle finger though. ). He grabbed my arm and I flung myself backwards in the lazy boy I was sitting in. This kid was a wrestler in highschool, but at least this time he only had upper hand because I started out in a sitting position. Funny thing is, by the end of it, we had let each other go and the only reason it hadn't broken up was because the two guys trying to pull us apart had our arms locked around each other and we couldn't let go.

Five minutes later we were cool and we both apologized, but having to live in such close quarters with other students is definitely taking a toll on tempers. A bunch of the freshman have discovered my apartment building and moved in, effectively making it just like the dorms they were trying to leave. To me it's just another sign that I either need to move to a new apartment or a different school altogether.

This has just been an interesting and rather rough week all around.

Inasmuch as I don't wanna bash Catholics, here's an honest observation:

They appear to be spiritually dead. In the church. I could feel it. And I feel sorry for em. I really do.

And yeah I know… I'll either be bashed as an atheist or as an arrogant self-righteous prick who loves to put down others because he thinks he is all-knowing and always right. (oh btw I was a hardcore Catholic at one point in my life. And a couple of protagonists in MAG-ISA are Catholic.)

I'm not all-knowing. In fact, there is very little that I know.

Blame Vatican II. When they threw out all the icons, got rid of Purgatory, and stopped sayin' Mass in Latin, the whole Church went to the dogs. ;)

Now go say 40 "Hail Marys" to atone for your blasphemy, my son.

I have that problem with some of the thicker accents here. It makes me feel like more of a stupid american than I probably already look like. To be somewhat fair, sometimes I don't understand them because they're using a slang word I'm unfamiliar with, so it isn't the speaking I don't understand, it's the one word. Still ends up with me saying 'sorry?' a couple times though.

Fell asleep at 2 AM. Woke up at 4 with a crippling pain in my abdomen. Spent over three hours in the hospital waiting for a doctor to come in and take ten seconds to tell me I have a urinary tract infection.

Now, I'm going to church. Right after church, I get to be on the road for six hours to visit my brother for one day of his spring break and then come right back home.

Oh, and the IV left my hand sore, so I can't draw. :(

You're not alone. I am still very much a Catholic but every time I go to church I end up less sure of my beliefs as opposed to more, if that's even possible. I like the club, but I hate the club members.

I think I may be posting in this topic too much :P But this topic is like my second home I guess. Or maybe Drunkduck is my second home? Ah well.

So I finally got a lot of work done on my comic. I stayed up until 4 AM inking 3 pages. I woke up at like, 11:30 AM, and it's 12:30 PM right now. I'm toning the pages I inked last night. :D

It's all looking so good too.

Also found out that I am in love with Legacy of Kain.

And I'm getting good grades, and my working out is going good.
Damn, life is pretty good :]

I hate running out of this or that, and not realising it until I sit down to work. I need refills for my micro eraser- I can improvise by cutting bigger ones to a point, but it ain't the same, and takes way longer. Grrr. At least the refills are relatively cheap, and I can pay for 'em by scroungin' up some change.
