a drunk girl peed in my bed…
while i was in it last night.
so wrong.

so my friend and i came home from the bar, and i went to sleep in my bed and she was sleeping naked next to me. around 6 am i felt something cold and wet. i hear this trickling sound.

im a calm guy so i didn't scream or freak out. i took her to my couch and i was washing linens all night. i turn the mattress over and that shit was soaked through.

the funny thing was that she thought she was sleeping on my couch the whole night. i didn't have the heart to tell her in the morning. or maybe she was feigning ignorance cause she acted like she was in a hurry to leave my place.

man, what a weird night.

??? Why was there a drunk chick in your bed? Was there a party at your place and she went to sleep there before you arrived or did she follow you home?

Fuck you, Google Video.

Also found out that I am in love with Legacy of Kain.
I've played most of the games in that series but the only one I really loved was SoulReaver. I wish they'd port it to PSP so I could play it again.

a drunk girl peed in my bed…
Oh man, if she knew she did that, how horribly embarrassing for her. I'd have to say if she was awake at any point she'd have known… no wonder she'd want to make an escape. (Although offering to pay for a new mattress or something would have been a bit more ethical, I'm not sure how morally sound a girl who gets wasted and sleeps naked in guys' beds might be.)

Still, those kinds of stories are why I drink in moderation.

It's already 7:30pm… I spent my day reading, napping, and watching DVDs. Now I have to do some work type stuff and I don't wanna. :[ I want to watch another DVD… maybe I can work on bits of it during slow parts?

That never, ever works. Ever.

so i was excited about this live 'fetish webcomics' podcast thingie, only when i got in they just kept talking about travelosity and plane experiences -_- yeeeeah okay.
I turned it off since i didn't want it to eat up my megabyte cap.

Speaking of disappointments i recently tried to catch up to some of the old webcomics i stopped reading (pictures of sad children and horribleville, etc) i don't know if my tastes have changed or if they just went down the drain in under a month, i used to love those comics :/

edit: pictures in making me lol again on later ones so it's cool

Horribleville has definitely gone down hill. Kind of in the same way that Ren and Stimpy did after John Kricfalusi got fired.

PFSC is still awesome though.

I can't believe how expensive gaia items are now 0_o

My mom made fun of me for using twitter, since i made fun of twitter and then started liking it. It's not even that great it's just….i dunno, it's weird.

I had to take my dog to the emergency vet today- all the sudden he started throwing up, having problems with his balance, and supporting himself with his back legs. The x-rays were fine, and he started acting more like himself (and walking better) later on. The vet said it's possibly a pinched nerve. We couldn't get blood work done because the bill was already $230 with the off-hours fee and the radiograms. But if it happens again, I'm going to have to find the money.

It could be a lot of different things- from mild poisoning, to shock (from some unknown injury that we missed), to the pinched nerve thing. But it's the loss of control of his legs that really troubles me. I mean, that doesn't happen instantly, and for no reason. I think I'd be more able to chalk it up to a "well, he must've just hurt himself"/ one-time thing if I didn't have to put my Ma's dog down over Thanksgiving. She was the same age (6) and had muscle/neurological problems (affecting her balance/movement/cognizance/etc.) due to advanced cancer. Uhg. God forbid. *spit*

So I'm worrying myself to death, here. My dog is my best friend, and it would absolutely destroy me if anything was seriously wrong with him. I'm trying to work on my comic and just get my mind off it, but… uhg.

Pets are like that :(
My tomcat keeps comming of with fight injuries. Nothing serious, just scratches. I think he's a pretty tough cookie. But so much for de-sexing making him less agressive. The poor guy got done when he was a teeny little kitten. At least he doesn't howl and go after the she-cats, so that part worked.
-He just like sto fight and kill rats constanly.

But the more he fights, the more I worry he'll get badly hurt.

my wifes sheltie/spaniel mix had a couple days where he was limping around with one of his back legs up. And never put pressure on it. after 2 days we took him to the vet, and they didnt know what happend. a day or two after that, he was running around fine. no problems. he is 8 years old.

sigh, i hate the air force but enjoy it soo much. i guess thats part of a job. at least from what i hear from everyone else. stupid pt test. it'll be the third time in 4 days, that i run for time. my feet are killing me, cause last week i doubled my total weekly run distance. which apparently is bad for you over such a short time.

also i made my own dinner tonight. the rice was bland and soggy. even tho i followed directions on the bag. the sausage and red beans helped give it some flavor. next time i'll use less water, and let it simmer with some sort of flavor thingy.

White rice is just bland anyway… It's just a starchy filler food like potatoe, bread, pasta… All that stuff.
It doesn't really take on flavour that much when you boil it in. best to add it afer- Like good old soy sauce whih is just salty basically, but it spreads through the whole lot and can help to enhance the flavour of other stuff that you add to the rice. -But there are lots of saucey sorts of products that you can buy to add nice flavourings to rice. Lots of recipies too if you want to make your own saucey stuff- Anything that's mainly liquidy like casseroles and things really mix well with rice.

I feel your pain. I once spent $600 on ER vet bills for a pet rat (that I originally bought for $7). But he survived and recovered despite the vet's dismal prognosis, so I don't regret it. He was my friend/family, and there are worse ways to spend $600.

Yeah, vet bills- my parents had to take out a loan a few months ago to cover vet costs (the aforementioned dog with cancer, another 6-year old that had congenial heart problems and eventually had to be put down too, and a puppy that got attacked). It's ridiculous. They sell pet health insurance, but hell- I can't even cover my own health insurance!

But my dogs are my family, and I'd do pretty much anything to keep 'em sage and healthy. The only reason I evacuated for the stupid hurricane was because of my dogs. Because, a.) I knew that if one of the levees broke and the water rushed in really fast (which it did, just not in my neighborhood) I might be able to save myself, but probably not both my dogs; and b.) if the National Guard came around getting folks out of houses afterwords (which they did- they pretty much force you to leave, at gunpoint if necessary) then they'd make me leave my dogs because they don't allow them at the shelters.

It's amazing the value you assign to things when you're pressed… Technically, it was $600 on two rats. They shared an oxygen chamber at the clinic, so I didn't get charged double – but the other one died despite the efforts. As long as it is in my means, I would rather spend my money that way and eat Top Ramen for a few months.

And they are family, whether for a few months or years. – Even the animals that aren't "family" are a serious responsibility to me. When I realized I wasn't appreciating my frogs the best I could, I spent a long time finding them a new home where I knew they would be appreciated (when it would have been much easier to give them back to the pet store).

I've spent a few thousand on cats over the years. Even when I didn't have any leeway with my savings… any at all. You just have to. Family is family.

-_- i just suggested my mom smoke pot for her back spasms. That goes so far against my morals, eugh, what a week this has been.
I make her laugh and do this back pounding thing(she had that icy hot shit on her back when i did made my hands fucking sting )but it doesn't stop them completely. She won't go to the doctors since it's so expensive(no healthcare)

ugh shitty icy hot

I say that to people. But I usually do it jokingly. And pot actually isn't all that bad, if you actually use it for medicinal reasons.

So, maybe doing sit-ups at night and drinking a bunch of diet pepsis before I go to bed isn't such a good idea. I didn't get much sleep last night, and I woke up with a really bad stomach ache.
Why Diet Pepsi?
It was free :]

Also, been playing my electric guitar more lately. I actually made a really cool song. I should record it, and somehow play it for you all.

Pot is great for all the shit that happens during chemotherapy. My college roommate had chemo Junior year and the only way he made it through was the pot. Crying all night was wearing us both out. He died of a massive coronary at the age of 40 right after we had re-established contact.

So I got a migraine at work Sunday and went through the last two hours of my shift in a complete fog. But I did pound out eight-nine panels over the weekend and will have a two page update for Thursday!

As therapy for the migraine I scribbled a comic strip on some scrap paper. The jokes are awful but it was good to see I could still draw a strip.

Do you mean smoking pot, or dragging your mum into an endless cycle of addiction?

I have this wierd empty feeling, I can't even describe it. I was walking along the roadside yesterday, looking at all these cars speeding past me and at the drivers inside getting on with their seperate lives and thinking,'zip, fly past and you're gone and that's it, just like your life - zip, gone'.

Maybe it's time to switch to a new brand of tea.

I get that kinda thing a lot. Sometimes I hear trains at night and think, "That is the sound of lige passing me by". (me = still a depressed, teenage goth chick, or somethin'.)

Re: The reefer:
I really don't like bein' around potheads- I mean, I don't have anything against 'em, but it bores the hell outta me when they're all just sittin' around doin' their stoner thing, what with the video games and movies and dumb conversation. Much prefer the company of drunks.

That said, there is absolutely no reason, as far as I'm concerned, that it ought to be illegal. It's far less addictive and harmful than alcohol, and if there was a state-imposed tax (like they do with booze and tobacco) it would bring in a lot of revenue for a lot of really dire state budgets. Psht.

That said- Kids, don't do drugs.
