All right… feet you say… *looking up online conversion tables*… Wow. No offense Niccea but that quite small. I myself am about…*calculating* I think 6'4"

Posted at

I, myself, am 5'11" :)

Ugh. I have so much I want to do, and so much I have to do.

I want to work out, I want to finish inking these two pages, I want to make a wallpaper, I want to finish this pinup, I want to do a lot of other stuff to.

I need to type this paper for my mom.
And that's about it.
But still.

I'm 5'1" and have a really young-looking face. My doctor told me I would be 5'4", the b*****d.
Oh yeah, and I talk like a retarded kindergartener. :(

How young people treat me as being really depends on where I am and who I'm with, though. For example, if I'm downtown alone, then I'm old enough for old men to hit on me! Haha.

Regardless of where I go I get the assumption that I'm in my mid-20's and that I'm much older than I am. It helps that I'm much wider than the average guy and I have a pretty heavy beard, but the moment I shave it off, I'm back to being 12. It makes it a bit awkward to hang out with people my own age or even a year or two younger. I end up looking like a chaperon or that creepy old guy who hangs out at the local college.

I decided that there's no way in hell I'm going to let my hair get cut into a mohawk. I just walked into the school for the first time this weekend and noticed that since I was last there on Friday it seems like half the guys at the school got one. And they're all really badly done. They ended up looking like they got a fauxhawk and then shaved the rest of their hair off. Especially since most of them are hipsters or hippies. There's no point in doing it if the entirety of the school's male population decided to get a 'hawk. I'm kind of disappointed, since I was actually feeling gutsy enough to go out and get it done.

Aw, that's too bad about the 'hawk. :(

Can't sleep. I mean, I was probably way too wound up and tense to try an' go to bed anyway, but I was somehow also exhausted, and didn't feel like I could do anything productive. And I hate lying in bed for an hour or two trying to sleep, because it makes me angry that I'm "wasting my time". Gak. I just wanna press the "reset" button, and wake up tomorrow, ya know?

I had one of those for about a month, then I shaved it off because I was sick of it getting soaked, blown over or collapsing for no reason and making me look like Zorg from the Fifth Element.

It's probably because most men here tend to be a lot more bulky. People see a slimmer shape and just make an assumption.

-Simply people not being observant. The same reason they think all these shorter people in the thread are still kiddies.

hey, i'm 5'8 (almost). but you saw my wedding picture, and so you know how young i can look clean shaven.

i wish culture would think the beard was shic again. then the military might let us grow them out. it would be great, because i hate shaving every day. i also hate exercising after shaving. you dont see them, but there's a couple cuts that dont bleed, and when you start to sweat all that salt and dirty water from your pores, oh boy, what a wake up in the morning.

also, i'm 1 minute from my run and swim goals. but the problem now is, that i need to work on my long distance run/swim. basically, the faster i get my short run/swim, the more i need to do my long run/swim at the same pace. (they require a 6 mile run in under 45 minutes, and a 3 mile run in under 21 and a mile in 7:30 or under)

Ozone, it could be worse. When I was in elementary school, I had gotten sick of my hair weighing me down and making me over heated. To take care of this I got it cut really short. It didn't help that I was a bit chunky then.

To sum it up: I was mistaken as a boy once…at a girl scout event…

Granted it was dark. And I was climbing around on the play ground. And all the other girls were wearing denim skirts and I was wearing overalls. (It was a hoedown). When you get mistaking as a guy at a girl scout event, that is pretty low.

But yeah, PP, I'm short, but I'm not short enough. Two inches shorter, I could have been a legal midget and get my own handicap parking sign. Instead I get picked on and treated like a child.

I was also mistaken as the "new kid" at my brother's school when I was rushing around trying to find his classroom so I could deliver his lunch. I'm nine years older than him, so I had been out of elementary for quite a while then.

But hell. I don't look like a child if you aren't looking at height.

I've been doing so much typing in the past 24 hours that when I stopped to write something on paper a little while ago I came across a word I was unsure of, and after writing it, I paused for a second to see if spell check would correct me.

It didn't. Satisfied, I continued on until I realized what had just happened.

Has this phenomena ever occurred to anyone else? (the word was overnight btw)

Haha! That happens to me sometimes when I've been drawing digitally all the time and am drawing in my sketchbook…I'll make a mistake and just for a second think that I should press Ctrl-Z before realizing that I can't do that.

Rant: I'm pretty sure school is what has been giving me so many headaches. I didn't get a single one during spring break, but today, my first day back, I got one around half an hour before I left which got progressively worse throughout the day…and then felt a lot better almost immediately when I stepped outside the school. I think it's the mixture of stress and being in stuffy, noisy rooms all day.

I wanted a break this Easter. D:

so i ran a 24:21 5k today. my fastest time in 6 months. we also lifted. at lunch, me and my buddy swam 500 meters. as fast as we could. and now i'm literally dead tired. my arms are sore, and at the end of hte 500, my body refused to do more than a doggy paddle. i forced it tho.
i gotta remember, that in the training, they will make me feel this way only worse. every single day. but i dont give up easily. and i will work harder, to where their workouts will be attainable.

I can't keep still. I don't mean I'm running around, just that I can't stop randomly twitching and if I do I feel horrible and really restless. Typing fast helps a little bit.

Also, one of my good friends is sad. :( I think I maybe made him feel a bit better though.

I happened to notice that "The Hub" is #117 and #317, respectively, on two of them ranking sites I've got it listed on. Because I refuse to believe in coincidences- using my patented voodoo-like statistical calculations, and after carefully examining the entrails of a sacrificed pigeon- I predict that this means soon it'll be #17 on DD. Or, uh, #217. The entrails were annoyingly unspecific.

So I've inked page 1 of my '3 week comic' and starting on #2, I think I'll make a thread in A&L later since I need advice on how to make the second page creepy- and it will motivate me to get them done on time.

The genre is supernatural/action with a few interesting twists, I doubt it will attract even a small audience but it's still good to break free from slice-of-life/drama i always do.

About 10 pages.
No idea about anything yet.
But I want to make it really, really epic.

I think I'll do it after I practice anatomy and all that like I've been planning.

Oh yeah? Well I'm-a make an even shorter comic! And I'm-a take twice as long as you guys to make it! And it'll be half as good! Booyah! ;)

Actually I wish I had some ideas for shorts. Or rather- the skill to condense a story into that few pages. Kudos to them what can do it, I say.

I don't understand how people can stretch stories out for so long. I don't think I've ever written anything that would last over ten pages.
