@_@ wow this thread gets active when I'm gone. So I see that a townie got lynched, what else happened? I tried to skim the thread, but I can't figure out what page I last read.

Honestly, nothing happened. Just us jumping between lynching Product Placement and Blitz.

The last page I remember was 14. It took 7 pages just to do that?!

Also, random suggestion here, given how LONG this thread is bound to end up, can we post links to the actual narratives on the front page so in the future we don't have to reread 40 pages of stuff to find one night's events?

That is what I did for my game. And I already suggested to Red.

If you want for me to, I can just post all the narratives in my comic forum. That way anyone can go and read them.

I'm at work now. It took me ages to get through this thread…

Blitz told me to lord it all over you guys if he died- and now I will. - he didn't deserve to die because of that silly clue. Harkovast, you were wrong. -_-

This game is exhausting… I think I'll sit out the night phase. I have work to do.

We all should have listened to Hakoshen after all.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I can do no more but sit and wait for the cycle to end, so see you when the mob offs me.

THANKS… that is soooo helpful. I've been copying the narratives into a notepad so I didn't waste my limited time searching pages.

Ok.

I made a new thread in my comic forum that has all the narratives.

It is here.

no one listened to me and now a townie is dead.

my theory about the killer being a friend of waff still stands

Sorry Niccea I never got that suggestion.
Not sure how to do it anyway.

IIRC what Niccea did last game was link to the pages where the narratives were. It can really save on scrolling to find at least the important posts.

Back for the nonce-
I'm wondering why Harkovast was so het up about lynching Blitz. Even when everyone else was starting to say they'd rather not have a lynching at all and after I'd explained to him time and again that out of all the massive clues Barron had left, it was only a single word and could be made to apply to any of us.

Even after that he still wanted Blitz dead. Was it personal? Was it the old style Hark craziness and unreliability? Or something more sinister?

Whatever it was, he took it way beyond just an honest mistake. -_-
————

Ah whatever… we'll see what new clues we have the next day. But it does have me thinking:
-Flapjack's clues were all Shakespearian.
-Shakespeare was English like Harkovast.
-Hamlet was set in a period where people carried swords and wore armour, like his comic and his avatar.
-Flapjack was stabbed with a blade, and that happens a HUGE amount in Hark's comic….
-and Harkovast was only going after the supposed killer of Waff, drawing attention AWAY from Flapjack's murder.

That was my fault, I told Hark about the clues and that I didn't think Product was mafia, I also posted the clues about Blitz before telling Hark, you can ever go back and see that.

Still night huh..

Well… I don't know about Hark, but it was funny how he was conditioning us with the notion that he was not a mafia in the beginning by constantly mentioning that over and over again.

… did I mention that I'm not a Mafia?

That is just him being Hark…or is it.

Hark discovered in past games that the more noise you make, the least likely you are to get killed.

Really? I would have thought the opposite. I'm actually certain that I'm either a mob or a vigilante hit tonight. A mob hit because I was loud on the forums and/or a vig hit because I'm a prime suspect. It's nice to know that it may not be the case.

A vig hit PP? Really? Is there a suicide option?

HA

Yeah yeah, we all know of your theories of me being the dark night.

But again I ask, why would the vigilante go for a blind kill on the first night and why would the mob not use both of their kills?

And on top of that, you're ignoring that the police chief cleared me from the crimes. You're actually gonna believe that the mob has been pulling off, this long, a scheme where they masqueraded the chief/mayor without the real police chief doing anything about it, just to protect me, over the possibility that Crocty could be telling the truth?

Ever heard of Occam's razor?

The mob always tests the waters first. Each GM writes the clues in a different way. SO they only do one or two kills to see how things work out. If the clues look vague, they will step up the killing.

There is also the fact that our side has paramedics, so sometimes the kills are blocked that way. Usually paramedic saves are not reported. (I don't know how Red is doing it though).

Well maybe the vigilante is someone who abuses his/her power? After all, power can make people mad :(
