My mom actually buys and makes fruitcake because she likes it.

I've heard it makes a good doorstop.

My mom buys a fruitcake every year for Sneaky Santa. No one picked it this year, so it continues to sit, unloved and untouched, and unwrapped as well, in our kitchen. It will probably just get thrown away :(

I like fruitcakes. (Is that a bad thing?)
So my advice is, give it to me.

I will do my best to emulate this fruitcake. I shall follow its wonderous lifestyle and slowly obtain its mannerisms, perhaps one day becoming its successor.

Serve it to unwanted guests
Stuff the mattress with the rest.

Keep it in rum or brandy or somekind of strong whisky…then when it comes around the next year, sell it, as fruit cake keeps forever.

This year I ate the whole thing. Then I ate a whole bunch of mini ones. Then I ate another full sized one. I can't get enough fruit cake.

I don't get a fruitcake, I get a huge jar of Jelly beans that are finished within a week every year.

If I had one, I'd use it for a doorstop or paper weight.
