I fell in love with theater back in high school and even majored in it in college. I found the dream of a family to be more important, though. I've left theater behind.

I would love to be a writer. Novels, comics, most everything. Owning a comic shop would be cool too. Most importantly, to provide for a family. I love my fiancee very much and would work 80 hours a week in a factory to make sure she and our future children are provided for. So as long as the dreams pay the bills, we're all set!

My dream job is that of a spiritual leader. I could do anything I wanted to, and people couldn't question it. I'd be surrounded by followers and people that loved me no matter how many minor George Kastanzas that I do. I'd live in a fortress like compound and enjoy tax free status. I'd write novels and literature, and be beloved by those that would follow me, and loathed by those that didn't understand what I was for.

Thats my dream job. I sort of want to post the forums cliche of "to do comics" but I already do comics. Ever since I was a kid, I've loved this medium of pictures with words. Something about it just really seems apporchable and great. I know my comics aren't for everyone (nor would my cul- er, church), but theres a market for this type of stuff.

My dream job is that I stay home all day drawing webcomics and pestering people on messageboards. My expenses are paid by my current partner or partners.

I'm still working on this, though.

I guess I'm living your dream. The only thing I would add to that is to be hitting the con circuit and every day pitching crazy comic ideas to big name studios and people. My fnniest moment in life was in a meetnig with a movie executive who told me to "get the fuck out of my office, this is terrible" and had to have goons come escort me from his office. I could swear I saw something similar to a design in my portfolio that I showed the guy, but it has to be a coincidence, right?

I guess that would be a dream of mine too. I'd like to have some movie credits. I'm sure I could write or produce, but I'm such a funny guy, how could I not be in front of the camera?

My secret dreamjob is to work as a conceptual artist, doing some harmless streetart on the side and generally go the way of the starving artist. I just want to make something that can inspire somebody out there. If I manage to get a work where I can do that then I'm satisfied.
I wouldn't mind not being the top dog, and I wouldn't mind a pay that wasn't the best ever, if I can just get enough to buy food, books and maybe travel a little. Really, I don't think I'll ever earn millions. I spend time calming my friend about the future because it doesn't bother me much. If all else goes wrong, we'll just live in a treehouse in some forest, that's what I keep saying.

Or I'll just be a librarian, happily pimping the books I love and making fun of people that I think have a bad taste in litterature. That would be nice too.

Dream 1: I want to act. I would love to be in: One movie for every genre of film.

Then I want to get a gig in a sci-fi television show and do voices for cartoons.

Dream 2: To be able to do comics and novels for a livin'.

Dream 3: That Ethan will do one of the above and I can sit on my bum raising fat kids.

probably some sort of cook, but like only if it was a really poor restaurant and people only wanted to eat food that students live off of. my fav recipe is mi gorehng (these cheap ass indonesian 2 minute noodles) with corn beef. or maybe weetbix a la milk. or pasta and chili with cheese. ya, that'd be the best because then i could do stuff to people's food and if they get sick i'll be like 'shut up and eat your damn slop'

I have my dream job. List:
1) I work with people smarter than me, but they do not know it.
2) they are half my age
2,a) They do what I ask.
3) I almost work when I want… very little in the summer.
4) The Univ. asks me to set my own goals an then evaluates me in how I reach those goals.

I mean really. What's better than working with young, smart people who make you look good for being smart?

I'd like to do graphic design for a living. I'd really like to work doing illustrations for magazines or advertisements down on Madison Ave. ^_^

But most importantly I'd love to get payed to do comics for a living. But that barely ever works out, so I'll need to do the graphic design thing to, you know, buy food. ; p

A couple days ago, the topic was right on top of another one that, just by chance, happened to answer my question. It looked a little like so:

What's Your Dream Job?

hmmm… Well every time someone asks me what do you want to do for a a living I have answers…

1) anything besides staying at Kmart (which is my current job)
and
2) Draw graphic novels or a living.

However, before I can do number 2) I would love to work in a cafe for a while, and then switch to working for a company as a private secretary. Arranging lunches for my boss, making sure the files are in order, doing the books, getting coffee that sort of thing…

Dream Jobs…varies quite a bit…
I would love to be a comic artist and writer…like most people.
I would love to be a stand up comedian or be on SNL.
I would love to be a photographer.
I would love to be a screenwriter.
I would love to be a kept man…

then I wouldn't have to worry about paying the bills or making money doing the other stuff.

If I could do all that…wow that would be a dream come true.

I have always loved the idea of being Finnegan 'Finn' Bell from Great Expectations and having an "Arthur Lustig", if you will, come along and sponsor me as I create great works of art in these many arenas.
