Well anything with freelance art. Almost any type of art. Have a steady job, as an advertising artist, or editor and then save up enough money so I can have my own work bench for making jewelry. I love the feel of a torch/ saw/ drill in my hand. There's something powerful about melting metal and molding it.

Geez - there's so many possibilities that come to mind. #1 though, I would like to be an author.

A film score composer, a meteorologist, an ornithologist also - but the last two are out because I don't think I could handle the math and chemistry I would have to learn -

In my ideal job, I'm a comic book artist, web developer, and small business entrepreneur. We have moved from the suburbs back into the city, but into a nice lower density part of the city with trees parks and a good school district. ( HA! I've described my suburb but with a bus line). I work within a 20 minute walk from the house. I really like the idea of being able to walk to work and having my work space separate from the house. I work in a work loft space of other successful freelancers. I put on something nice on the satellite radio or CD or internet radio. I put in an hour of study, learning new skills and abilities. In today's world, must keep up with the continuous improvement. I've got the music on a timer so every two hours, the music cuts out, so I'm forced back into the real world and make sure I'm focusing on the right things. My fellow freelancers drift in and out. I enjoy working on growing the business, maintaining current projects and growing new art and web company projects. I check the online businesses and see that they are above projections. I program, work on web sites and artwork. I'm always improving my sell sites, adjusting the pitch, wording, etc. I have enough time and money that I can work on and promote the online comic book that's making enough money to more than break even. I banter with my fellow workers. I like not having a boss. I work 10 hour days, Monday through Friday, but when I'm done, I don't think about work till then next morning

To have this dream, I'd have to make whole lot more money than I do now. Health care for three, planning for retirement, having a nice house in a nice neighborhood, a vacation now and then, financial security and getting rid of my stupid debt, are not cheap.

My dream job is to be a mobile suit engineer. I make mobile suits that are similar to those seen on mech games and cartoons. I will make this a reality because I can design, build, and calibrate a suit. I can't program it but in a few years I should be able to.

We-ell…. I would LOVE to be a comic artist, and that's what I'm hoping to go to school for, but anything art-related would be fantastic. Illustrator, concept artist, traditional artist (though the latter would probably mean I would have to split my time between that and something else, because the number of traditional artists who can make a living solely on their art is very small).

If the art falls through, I can always fall back on my dreams of being a novelist/writer. :)

I have two dreams.

The more realistic dream is to make enough money to be able to stay home with my freelance art business, Painting Pixie Designs (http://www.paintingpixie.com). Right now I'm not pulling in enough clients to do that.

….The more fantastical dream is to be a porn star. I kinda dabbled in it one time (if you can call it that) and I sorta liked it. I had a website for that too, but it got deleted by the webmaster.

Because you're not going to the right places, silly. I met my husband at an orgy.

Am I sounding too shallow when I say that I'd like to just be independently wealthy and not have to have a job at all- dream or otherwise?

I guess if I had to pick something, it would either be in television - maybe related to writing for a soap or some kind of cartoon. Or have my own fashion doll.

Writer, Director, producer, voice actor…

something in comics would be nice, like a writer or an editor.
