my wife is the more irresponsible one. she has a ton of credit cards, and for a while, was spending money on a credit card for groceries, even tho we always have enough for food….we had a fight, and i payed off that card, and one other, and then cut them up. i felt bad for treating her like a child, but i'm pretty sure it will help in the long run.
i'm bad financially because when i decide to spend money on myself, i end up feeling guilty, and buy my wife something of equal or more price. and i never go out to eat alone, because then i feel like i'm cheating her out of a meal.

*working out while sick
a couple weeks back i had a bad headache, on top of the viral infection that i had/have (it just wont go away) anyways, i took some asprin, and then ran 4 miles. tell you what, i didnt feel the sickness anymore. the next day my nose was stuff, so i blew it, and this yellow gunk came out, (all runny and i couldn't snort it back) when it stopped, a little bit of blood came out. i've had it happen before, so i didnt worry about it..but i decided to take the day off of the gym. but the next day i went back to working out, and i feel great when i'm working out.

my dogs are spoiled. it's been raining out, and they've been refusing to leave the house to go potty. so i finally got them out, and they stood on the sidewalk…just sniffing at the wet grass and puddles. i had to go out with them and they followed me into the grass and finally went…

I keep missing nicks calls, it feels like we're playing phone tag. I'll call him tomorrow at 7 or something then we'll go see star trek. He lent me the first two terminator movies so we could see terminator3 but…i just can't get into them. I didn't go to his play thing on sat either, haven't really apologized yet ehh >.>

Took my autistic brother into the brand new swimmingpool in town, turns out he can't be anywhere near it dou to the fact the water is a little bit carbonated to hide the scent of the chlorine, he gets dissy and can't walk :(
The sad part is that they recently closed the old pool so now he can't swim around here…
Odd legal question that is making me kind of ranty:
If I took someone's rough draft sketch of a character that I designed and then lined it colored it and animated it, would that be a violation of plagirism?
Considering:
1. I designed the character
2. The rough sketch was based off the picture that someone else drew of said character.
That girl on another site from earlier is getting hissy again…

My sister's dog died today, of cancer. She'd had her 13 years, almost 14 now. She's thousands of kilometres away, but she sounded so sad and heart broken on the phone. It's really hard to comfort someone over the phone… and I'm so often arch and detached (real character flaw).
She really loved that dog…

My cat just came in with something in his mouth. It looked too small to be a rat. It looked weird, like it was a scrunched up leaf or something, but he's NEVER been the sort of cat that pretends with leaves.
It's turns out that it was a little bat! I've never seen a bat up close before, not that close anyway. It was such a beautiful little creature. The arms and legs are so long and spindly, the wings are so delicate and the fur is so soft. It's eyes are tiny, the nose and ears are bigger. Most of the body mass is in the head and then the little body tapers from there. Such a shame that he killed it… He normally only kills rats. :(
I'd suspected I had bats in the backyard, but didn't know for sure. Such a shame. :(
I'll have to bury it now since he thinks it's too weird to eat. perhaps it was already sick and that's why he was able to catch it? He's pretty good at knowing what's not good to eat.
Heh, funny bat story… when my wife and I first got married, we lived in a small apartment on the 3rd floor of this building. The hallway leading to each floor was open to the outside elements, so we were always having bugs fly in, etc etc… nothing too major though.
One morning, it was about 3am or so, my wife woke me up. She told me "Matt, I think there's a bat in the apartment."
… riiiiiigggghhhhtttt….. I snorted in derision at her and tried to go back to sleep, but she insisted I at least get up and look.
I turned on the light next to the bed, and lo and behold, she was RIGHT. Thing was flapping around my bedroom, trying vainly to get out. It took me a good 25 minutes to catch the thing (I just took off my shirt and eventually managed to net it) and get it released outside, where it took off.

Most likely, Ozone, the bat was already sick or injured before your cat found him, bats don't typically stay with reach of kitty cats. Though I had a good laugh at "he thinks it's too weird to eat". :D

The bats in New Jersey are being killed off by "white nose disease" so soon there may not be any to see.
I wish I could say the same about Canadian Geese. Though I do enjoy seeing the ducks among them. The geese defend the ducks and their nests and this has led to ducks being more visible than they were. I know about this personally as when I did land scaping those geese were vicious around the ducks and their nests.
I like ducks but I hate Canadian geese. They're shit machines. Border collies? Cardboard cut-outs of dogs (which work!) Nah, shotguns. Hell, automatic weapons on the ground and Vulcan anti aircraft cannon when in flight. Then we use the dead geese to feed the homeless. Nah, goose is greasy and gamey and I wouldn't inflict it on anyone.
To label properly and organize and file or NOT to label properly and organize and file . . . and then try to find a particular file in an ocean of information. Those are the pertinent questions.

Actually, she didn't say that last part, but that's where the one file she wanted turned out to be, hidden among hundreds of badly named and misleading directories. Oh, and the particular file itself, was it actually NAMED American History Spring Review? Well, no, of course not. That would have made it all too simple, because it would have distinguished it from World history and from spring and fall reviews, don't you know?
Did I eventually find the pernicious file she wanted? Yes. Did I waste a great deal of time and energy and investment in irritation during the process? Well, duh!
What is it with some people that they WILL NOT – ever – under any circumstances BOTHER to give files or directories meaningful names when they know that eventually they will have a spouse having to look for it under a ticking deadline? What is it with some people that they casually reveal at the last minute that they MUST have one lone file out of hundreds that is lost in an ocean of poorly labeled information?
How bloody hard is it to label things?

Sallie, the wayward hound, is getting spayed and rabies shots right now. (Just in time. A neighborhood dog has been visiting and serenading her; we think maybe she was in heat.)
She barked and bayed in the car on the way to the vet. I wonder if she thought she was being dumped again. I wonder if animals can have those kinds of associations or thoughts… She was also really confused in the clinic. I don't think she's ever been inside a building before.
Hopefully new and improved (ie spayed and vaccinated) Sallie will be able to find a home.
Man, rainy days make me so tired. This is the hardest part about living in England. The weather affects me too much.
I dug out some quinoa I forgot I had, so I'll have quinoa with my curry tonight instead of rice. :]
My life seems even more boring (and I get out less) now that my Chinese class is over… maybe I should start thinking harder about what I'd want to focus on for my doctorate. I'm not quite sure if I'm ready to commit most of my free time for the next 3-6 years like that, but the longer I put it off the longer it doesn't get done.
In the meantime, I realized I only have 7 working days left til my 2-week holiday. I'm going to have to think of some (inexpensive, out of the house) things to do or else I'll spend it sleeping in and doing nothing…

They can. If my dog sees a camera, she will run and hide. She didn't used to do that until we took a picture of her with the flash on.
It has gotten so bad that is you have anything black and camera shaped to your face, she will hide.
My cat is really photogenic, if i point the camera at her she'll cock her head and gaze straight at it, sometimes i honestly think she knows that i'm taking pics of her. But then again i'm the tard that thinks my cat can say my name in a meow 'mee-i-i-ah'.
So summers began, officially. I've got a checklist of stuff to do and improve in myself this sumer, hope all goes well. :)
I was ridiculously tired all day today. And I had a physics test. Bleh. Fortunately it was easy-peasy.

i think they do as well, but also with either a super observent ability, or phsycic ability.
my dogs know when i want to take them outside the fence, because they immediatly run to where we keep their leashes.
and when they're in the car, and we're on our way to the vet, they get all quite and not as playful. (kilala's first 3-4 visits were shots and such). and when we're going to a park or somewhere they can run in play, they're all hyper and it's hard to keep them out of the front.
i should be studying for my test in a day and a half….but i'm not. why? i dont know.
My cat doesn't care either way.
He's normal :P

Doing a the redesign of the website for my company. Such a massive pain… Always constant changes and they want pretty animation all over the place etc. That's not so hard, but adding content all the time and making it look good is.
Especially how I'm coding it all up in notepad. T_T
